<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 48px">
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:
normal">Với Chúa Nhật </span><span style="font-weight: normal">thứ năm </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">này, Mùa Chay đã </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">đến gần cuối đường.</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
<span lang="VI">Việc sám hối canh tân</span></span><span style="font-weight: normal">,
vì thế, lại càng vang vọng hơn bao giờ hết</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:
normal"> và</span><span style="font-weight: normal"> cũng chính là</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
lời</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal"> </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">mời gọi </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">d</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">a
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">d</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">iết.
Điều ấy được khắc sâu hơn nữa với Chúa Nhật 5 </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">C Mùa Chay này</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">.
Vì hôm nay, Thiên Chúa tỏ lòng nhân hậu khoan dung tha thứ cho chúng ta</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">qua</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">hành xử của Thầy Giêsu </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">với</span><span style="font-weight: normal">
những người Biệt phái đang gài bẫy Ngài, và với chị phụ nữ ngoại tình bị
bắt quả tang mà họ đã dẫn đến trước mặt Ngài (x.Ga 8,1-11). </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 48px">
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:
normal">Quả vậy, </span><i><span style="font-weight: normal">“</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">Chúa</span><span style="font-weight: normal">
nhân ái và từ bi, chậm bất bình và giàu ân sủng. Chúa hảo tâm với hết
mọi loài, và từ bi với mọi công cuộc của Chúa. Chúa nâng đỡ hết thảy
những ai sa ngã, và cho mọi kẻ khòm lưng đứng thẳng lên”</span></i><span style="font-weight: normal">
<i>(Tv 144,8-9.14). </i></span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">Đối diện với lời chất vấn của
người Biệt phái rằng phải xử người phụ nữ bị bắt quả tang phạm tội ngoại
tình này như thế nào, thì </span><span style="font-weight: normal">Chúa
Giêsu </span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">đã chọn cách
ngồi </span><span style="font-weight: normal">xuống</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
đất</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
im lặng và</span><span style="font-weight: normal"> dùng ngón tay</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
viết trên đất. Một hình ảnh thật là lạ lùng</span><span style="font-weight: normal">!</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
Ngài không trả lời ngay cho họ, mặc dù Ngài có thể</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">giải quyết vấn đề
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">một </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">cách nhanh chóng. Tuy nhiên</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
Chúa Giêsu đã giữ im lặng, một khoảng lặng thật là </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">kỳ lạ,</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">nhưng lại nói nhiều</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:
normal">.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 48px">
<span style="font-weight: normal">Có</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
ý kiến cho rằng có lẽ </span><span style="font-weight: normal">Chúa</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">Gi</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">êsu
đang tìm cách kéo giãn thời gian để tìm câu trả lời. Nhưng e rằng không
phải</span><span style="font-weight: normal"> chỉ</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
như </span><span style="font-weight: normal">thế</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">.
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">Thường người ta nói im lặng</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
là</span><span style="font-weight: normal"> đồng ý, nhưng trong trường
hợp này, im lặng của Chúa Giêsu thì ngược lại. Đó là</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
<span lang="VI">cách nói lên</span></span><span style="font-weight: normal">
Ngài không đồng tình với cách suy nghĩ của người Biệt phái: Họ vừa không
thương xót, chỉ muốn kết án tử cho người thiếu phụ ngoại tình, họ vừa
dùng chị như một công cụ để gài bẫy bắt bẻ Chúa Giêsu, bất chấp nỗi đau
đớn và xấu hổ đang giày vò tâm hồn chị</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">.
Ngà</span><span style="font-weight: normal">i </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">đau khổ bởi sự </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">d</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">ữ
nơi con người. Và khi đau khổ lên đến c</span><span style="font-weight: normal">ực</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
điểm, sự im lặng là giải pháp </span><span style="font-weight: normal">
cuối cùng</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 48px">
<span style="font-weight: normal">Chúa Giêsu</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:
normal"> đau khổ trước sự tố cáo vô tâm và tàn độc của những người Biệt phái. Họ
cho mình là người công ch</span><span style="font-weight: normal">ính</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
<span lang="VI">và luôn kết án những người </span></span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">sai</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
lỗi. Họ đã bắt quả tang người phụ nữ </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">này </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">phạm tội ngoại tình. Và
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">họ dùng tội lỗi cùng</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
sự đau khổ của người</span><span style="font-weight: normal"> thiếu</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
phụ ấy</span><span style="font-weight: normal"> để gài bẫy Chúa Giêsu.
Ngài </span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">buồn về</span><span style="font-weight: normal">
thái độ b</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">ất bao dung
và vô tâm </span><span style="font-weight: normal">tàn nhẫn </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">ấy. Đâu phải họ không có tội</span><span style="font-weight: normal">?</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">Nhiều lần Chúa Giêsu khuyến cáo
họ. </span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">Họ </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">giả hình giống </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:
normal">như mồ mả tô vôi</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">đẹp đẽ bên ngoài mà </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">bên trong đẩy xương thối
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">r</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">ữa,
h</span><span style="font-weight: normal">ôi</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
hám. Họ</span><span style="font-weight: normal"> kiêu hãnh </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">đặt mình</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">lên trên người khác
khi tìm chỗ nhất trong yến tiệc</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
ưa thích được chào hỏi nơi đường phố. </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">Họ</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
luôn tỏ mình là người công ch</span><span style="font-weight: normal">ính</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
thánh thiện</span><span style="font-weight: normal"> khi so sánh mình
với những người thu thuế và kẻ tội lỗi. Họ cố đọc kinh cho dài để thu
nhiều lợi..</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">. Điều đó
làm cho Thiên Chúa ghê tởm</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
<span lang="VI">vì họ đã </span></span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">tôn mình lên mà cướp mất vinh quang
của</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal"> Thiên Chúa</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,
giành quyền xét xử kẻ khác trong khi Thiên Chúa xét xử là Đấng nhân hậu
từ bi và nhẫn nại</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">, tôn
thờ </span><span style="font-weight: normal">Thiên Chúa bằng môi miệng
còn lòng dạ thì xa Chúa.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 48px">
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:
normal">Chú</span><span style="font-weight: normal">a Giêsu</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
im lặng là để mời gọi </span><span style="font-weight: normal">những
người Biệt phái nhìn lại</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
mình. Và, thật đáng mừng</span><span style="font-weight: normal">, vì</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
<span lang="VI">họ </span></span><span style="font-weight: normal">đã
nhận ra lời chất vấn của Chúa Giêsu, khi Ngài </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">trả lời</span><span style="font-weight: normal">:</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
</span><i><span style="font-weight: normal">“</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">Ai
trong các ông là người s</span><span style="font-weight: normal">ạch</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
tội, hãy ném đá chị này trước đi</span><span style="font-weight: normal">”</span></i><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">.
Lúc ấy</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
họ bừng tỉnh vì thấy mình cũng đầy tội lỗi</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,
cũng xấu xa, cũng đê hèn</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">.
Và họ hiểu được rằng không thể kết án người khác bởi vì mình cũng là
người đáng bị kết án.</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">Chúa dạy đừng kết án để khỏi bị
kết án, chỉ có thông cảm bao dung thôi. Hành vi “rút lui từng người một,
bắt đầu từ những người nhiều tuổi nhất” sau đó của họ nói lên sự xấu hổ
và thức tỉnh lương tâm.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 48px">
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:
normal">Ch</span><span style="font-weight: normal">úa Giê</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">su
im lặng, cũng là để cho người </span><span style="font-weight: normal">
thiếu phụ</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal"> ngoại tình
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">cảm nghiệm </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:
normal">sâu hơn tội lỗi của mình</span><span style="font-weight: normal"> cùng
những đau khổ phải chịu do tội ấy gây ra</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">.</span><span style="font-weight: normal">
Sự im lặng của chị hòa một với sự im lặng của Chúa. Ra </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">v</span><span style="font-weight: normal">ậy,</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">cần </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">phải có những khoảng lặng
trong cuộc đời</span><span style="font-weight: normal"> đối diện với
Chúa</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">, con người mới
nhận ra</span><span style="font-weight: normal"> những yếu đuối lỗi lầm,
những bất trung thất tín, những phóng túng theo dục vọng, buông xuôi
theo đam mê xác thịt,…</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">.</span><span style="font-weight: normal">
Phải có những giây phút thinh lặng gần bên lòng Chúa, chúng ta mới nhận
ra vẻ đẹp của Đức Kitô, Con Thiên Chúa, Đấng giàu nhân ái khoan dung mà
chính mình lại là người môn đệ của Ngài. </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">Cần phải có những giây phút
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">thinh lặng </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">hồi tâm</span><span style="font-weight: normal">
thánh thiêng</span><span style="font-weight:normal"> <span lang="VI">mới
</span></span><span style="font-weight: normal">đưa tội lỗi ra ánh sáng,
gọi hối hận ăn năn về và mở lòng đón lấy lời mời gọi bước vào con đường
mới là bước theo Chúa Kitô, một đời sống đích thực của người Kitô hữu:

<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:
normal">Ta sẽ mở đường </span><span style="font-weight: normal">trong hoang địa</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">,</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">kh</span><span style="font-weight: normal">ai</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
sông </span><span style="font-weight: normal">nơi </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">đất khô </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">khan</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">.</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">Thú đồng, muông rừng và chim đà</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
sẽ </span><span style="font-weight: normal">ca tụng</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
Ta;</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal"> </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">vì Ta </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">đã làm cho hoang địa có nước và đất
khô khan có sông</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:
normal">,</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal"> </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">để</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
dân</span><span style="font-weight: normal"> yêu quý của</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
Ta </span><span style="font-weight: normal">có nước uống</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:
normal">.</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal"> </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">T</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">a
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">đã tác tạo dân này</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:
normal"> cho Ta, nó sẽ </span><span style="font-weight: normal">ca ngợi</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">

normal">Và viết trên đất, thử hỏi Chúa </span><span style="font-weight: normal">
Giêsu </span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">viết gì</span><span style="font-weight: normal">
vậy?</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal"> Ch</span><span style="font-weight: normal">úa</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
viết về lòng thương xót của Thiên Chúa dành cho nhân loại</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,
rằng Ngài là tình yêu,</span> <span style="font-weight: normal">và Ngài
muốn viết trong trái tim ta</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">.
Ch</span><span style="font-weight: normal">úa</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
viết những tội lỗi của con người, viết về những</span><span style="font-weight: normal">
sự dữ </span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">trong mỗi người
chúng ta</span><span style="font-weight: normal">, và Ngài viết chúng
trên mặt đất cát. Viết trong tâm hồn để khắc sâu, nhưng viết trên đất sẽ
</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">nói lên rằng tội lỗi
của chúng ta</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal"> </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">dễ dàng </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">được </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">tẩy xóa</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,</span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">như </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">sóng trùng dương tình yêu xô bờ cát
</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">xóa đi </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">mọi </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">dấu vết trên </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">đó</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">.</span><span style="font-weight: normal">
Chẳng phải là Chúa xem nhẹ tội lỗi, bởi chính Ngài đã gánh lấy mọi tội
lỗi của nhân loại từ tạo thiên lập địa cho đến tận thế và hủy diệt nó
bằng sự chết của Ngài. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 48px">
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:
normal">Ngài còn viết trên đất rằng điều cần thiết</span><span style="font-weight: normal">
giờ đây là</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal"> phải xa
tránh tội lỗi. Cho nên</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
lời cuối cùng Chúa Giê</span><span style="font-weight: normal">s</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">u</span><span style="font-weight: normal">
nói với người</span><span style="font-weight:normal"> <span lang="VI">
phụ nữ</span></span><span style="font-weight: normal"> khi Ngài thương
xót bao che cho chị,</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
là</span><span style="font-weight: normal">: <i>“</i></span><i><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">Ta
không kết án ch</span><span style="font-weight: normal">ị,</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
<span lang="VI">hãy đi về và từ nay đừng phạm tội nữa</span></span><span style="font-weight: normal">”</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">.</span></i><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
Đừng phạm tội nữa</span><span style="font-weight: normal">:</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">Chúa tha thứ nhưng không dung
túng, không xem nhẹ, trái lại Ngài mời gọi phải có một thái độ dứt khoát
với tội lỗi. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 48px">
<span style="font-weight: normal">Thường thì tội lỗi xuất phát từ việc
con người si mê những sự giả trá ở đời này. Say mê danh vọng sẽ dẫn đến
tội kiêu căng, tự mãn, tự phụ hoặc thất vọng, tự ti. Si mê xác thịt sẽ
dẫn đến dâm loàn làm ô uế bản thân và người khác, hoặc biếng lười việc
lành, hoặc mê say ăn uống. Si mê tiền của sẽ làm cho lệch hướng sự tôn
thờ: người ta sẽ tôn thờ nó như chúa tể, không còn thờ phượng Thiên Chúa
và giữ nghĩa cùng Ngài, cũng như khép kín tâm hồn trước tiếng gọi chia
sẻ cho những ai túng nghèo. Vì vậy, Thánh Phaolô nói với chúng ta rằng:
<i>“Thưa anh em, tôi coi tất cả mọi sự như thua thiệt trước cái lợi
tuyệt vời là được biết Đức Giêsu Kitô, Chúa tôi. Vì Người, tôi đành chịu
thua thiệt, và tôi coi mọi sự như phân bớn, để lợi được Đức Kitô và được
ở trong Người. Được như vậy, không phải do sự công chính của tôi dựa vào
lề luật, nhưng do sự công chính bởi tin Đức Kitô, tức là sự công chính
do Thiên Chúa ban, dựa trên lòng tin, để nhận biết Người và quyền lực
phục sinh của Người, để thông phần vào sự đau khổ của Người và trở nên
giống Người trong sự chết, với hy vọng từ cõi chết sống lại” (Bài đọc 2,
Pl 3,8-10). </i></span></p>

<span style="font-weight: normal">Các bạn quý mến,</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 48px">
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:
normal">Quyết tâm xa tránh tội lỗi, quyết tâm không phạm tội nữa, quyết tâm sống

Nhìn đến lòng thương xót của Thiên Chúa,</span><span style="font-weight: normal">
để có lòng</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal"> tri ân</span><span style="font-weight: normal">
sâu xa</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal"> như tâm tình
của người phụ nữ </span><span style="font-weight: normal">ngoại tình
</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">được tha, và nhìn đến
bản thân mình</span><span style="font-weight: normal"> như những người
Biệt phái được ơn Chúa soi sáng hoán cải</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">,
để </span><span style="font-weight: normal">khiêm nhường hối hận</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
và quyết tâm sửa chữa, đó là những điều được chỉ bảo </span>

trong thời gian còn lại Mùa Chay thánh hồng phúc này. </span></p>
