<b><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">(1) Tất cả những người
thu thuế và những người tội lỗi thường đến gần Đức Giê-su mà
nghe Người. (2) Còn những người thuộc phái Pha-ri-sêu và các
Kinh sư thì lẩm bẩm</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">
</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">: “Ông này đón tiếp
phường tội lỗi và ăn uống với chúng. (3) Đức Giê-su mới kể cho
họ dụ ngôn này. (11) “Một người kia có hai con trai. (12) Người
con thứ nói với cha rằng</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">
</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">: Thưa cha, xin cho con
phần tài sản con được hưởng. Và người cha đã chia của cải cho
hai con. (13) Ít ngày sau, người con thứ thu góp tất cả rồi
trẩy đi phương xa. Ở đó anh ta sống phóng đãng, phung phí tài
sản của mình. (14) Khi anh ta đã ăn tiêu hết sạch, thì lại xảy
ra trong vùng ấy một nạn đói khủng khiếp. Và anh ta bắt đầu
lâm cảnh túng thiếu, (15) nên phải đi ở cho một người dân trong
vùng. Người này sai anh ta ra đồng chăn heo. (16) Anh ta ao ước
lấy đậu muồng heo ăn mà nhét cho đầy bụng, nhưng chẳng ai cho.
(17) Bấy giờ anh ta hồi tâm và tự nhủ</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">
</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">: “Biết bao nhiêu
người làm công cho Cha ta được cơm dư gạo thừa, mà ta ở đây lại
chết đói ! (18) Thôi, ta đứng lên, đi về cùng cha và thưa với
Người</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt"> </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">: ”Thưa cha, con thật đắc
tội với trời và với cha, (19) chẳng còn đáng gọi là con cha
nữa. Xin coi con như một người làm công cho cha vậy”. (20) Thế
rồi anh ta đứng lên đi về cùng cha. Anh ta còn ở đàng xa, thì
người cha đã trông thấy. Ông chạnh lòng thương, chạy ra ôm cổ anh
ta và hôn lấy hôn để. (21) Bấy giờ người con nói rằng</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">
</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">: “Thưa cha, con thật
đắc tội với trời và với cha, chẳng còn đáng gọi là con cha
nữa...” (22) Nhưng người cha liền bảo các đầy tớ rằng</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">
</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">: “Mau đem áo đẹp
nhất ra đây mặc cho cậu, xỏ nhẫn vào ngón tay, xỏ dép vào chân
cậu. (23) Rồi đi bắt con bê đã vỗ béo làm thịt để chúng ta mở
tiệc ăn mừng</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt"> </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">! (24) Vì con ta đây đã
chết mà nay sống lại. Đã mất mà nay lại tìm thấy”. Và họ
bắt đầu ăn mừng. (25) Lúc ấy người con cả của ông đang ờ ngoài
đồng. Khi anh ta về gần nhà, nghe thấy tiếng đàn ca nhảy múa,
(26) liền gọi một người đầy tớ ra hỏi xem có chuyện gì. (27)
Người ấy trả lời</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">
</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">: “Em cậu đã về, và
cha cậu đã làm thịt con bê béo, vì được lại cậu ấy mạnh
khỏe”. (28) Người anh cả liền nổi giận và không chịu vào nhà.
Nhưng cha cậu ra năn nỉ. (29) Cậu trả lời cha</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">
</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">: “Cha coi, đã bao
nhiêu năm trời con hầu hạ cha, và chẳng khi nào trái lệnh. Thế
mà chưa bao giờ cha cho lấy được một con dê con ăn mừng với bạn
bè. (30) Còn thằng con của cha đó, sau khi đã nuốt hết của cải
của cha với bọn điếm, nay trở về thì cha lại giết bê béo ăn
mừng !”. (31) Nhưng người cha nói với anh ta</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">
</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">: “Con à, lúc nào
con cũng ở với cha. Tất cả những gì của cha đều là của con.
(32) Nhưng chúng ta phải ăn mừng và hoan hỷ, vì em con đây đã
chết mà nay lại sống, đã mất mà nay lại tìm thấy”.</span></b></p>

<b><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">2. Ý CHÍNH</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">
</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">: </span></b><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">Trong
bài Tin mừng hôm nay đoạn mở đầu (c 1-3) cho biết hòan cảnh của
dụ ngôn. Tiếp theo là chính dụ ngôn trình bày về lòng từ bi
nhân hậu của một người cha (c 11-32), gồm hai phần chính như sau</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">

sàng tha thứ trước khi nó kịp thú tội, lập tức trả lại địa
vị làm con, tổ chức bữa tiệc mừng </span>

</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">CẢ </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">: Sau khi biết em đã trở về
nhà và được cha không những không trừng phạt mà còn mở tiệc ăn
mừng, thì người con </span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">cả</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">
đã tỏ thái độ hẹp hòi và ganh tị</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">
</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">: Không thèm vào
nhà, trách cha thiên vị </span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">thằng
</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">em bất hiếu, </span>
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt">khi </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">đối xử bất công với anh là
đứa con hiếu thảo. Cuối cùng người cha đã ra gặp và giải tỏa
những lời trách móc của người con cả. Ông khuyên anh hãy noi
gương ông để bao dung với đứa em tội lỗi vì</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">
</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">: “Em con đây đã chết
mà nay lại sống, đã mất mà nay lại tìm thấy”.</span></p>

</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">: </span></b></p>

<b><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">- C 1-3</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">
</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">: + <i>Những người
thu thuế</i></span><i><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt"> </span>
</i></b><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">: Chỉ trong Tin mừng
Nhất lãm (Mát-thêu, Mác-cô, Lu-ca) mới đề cập đến hạng người
thu thuế này (x. Mt 9,9 ; Mc 2,14 ; Lc 5,27). Họ bị coi là tay sai
của chính quyền Rô-ma và bị tố cáo đã lạm thu thuế để hưởng
lợi bất chính (x. Lc 19,8b). Dân Do thái liệt họ vào hạng người
tội lỗi xấu xa, ngang hàng với bọn trộm cắp đĩ điếm (x. Mt
21,31-32). <b><i>+ Những người tội lỗi đến nghe Đức Giê-su giảng</i></b>:
Đây là các tội nhân đã phạm tội công khai như</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">
</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">: Gái điếm (x. Lc
7,37), người phụ nữ Sa-ma-ri-a có cuộc hôn nhân bất chính (x. Ga
4,18), người đàn bà ngoại tình (x. Ga 8,3), kẻ bị quỷ ám (x. Lc
8,2) kẻ chơi bời trác táng (x. Lc 15,13.30), hay tên gian phi (x. Lc
23,39). <b>+ <i>Những người thuộc phái Pha-ri-sêu và các Kinh sư</i></b></span><b><i><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">
</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">: </span></i></b>
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">Pha-ri-sêu (hay Biệt phái)
là những người Do thái đạo đức, sống tách biệt khỏi quần
chúng. Kinh sư (hay Luật sĩ) là những nhà trí thức, xuất thân
từ trường Kinh thánh. Họ thường giải thích Kinh thánh trong các
hội đường Do thái vào các ngày Sa-bát. Họ được dân chúng kính
trọng gọi là “Ráp-bi”, nghĩa là “Thầy” (x. Mt 23,7). <b>+ <i>Ông
này đón tiếp phường tội lỗi và ăn uống với chúng</i></b>:
Người Pha-ri-sêu và Kinh sư trách Đức Giê-su vì đã thu nhận Lê-vi
là người thu thuế làm môn đệ, lại còn đến ngồi đồng bàn ăn
uống với bọn thu thuế bạn bè của anh ta (x. Lc 5,27-32).</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 48px; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 8pt">
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">- <b>C 11-13</b></span><b><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">
:<i> + Một người kia có hai con trai</i></span><i><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">
</span></i></b><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">: Đây là dụ
ngôn chỉ có trong Tin mừng Lu-ca, nói lên lòng bao dung của một
người cha ám chỉ Thiên Chúa, đối với đứa con hoang đàng bất
hiếu, ám chỉ các người thu thuế tội lỗi. </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 48px; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 8pt">

<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">Đứa con thứ này đã rơi
vào hòan cảnh túng cực</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">
</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">: tự bán mình làm
nô lệ cho người dân ngoại và bị người này sai đi chăn heo. Heo
là con vật bị Luật Mô-sê coi là nhơ uế, vì được dân ngọai dùng
làm lễ vật cúng tế cho thần minh của họ (x. Đnl 14,8<b>). + <i>
Ước ao lấy đậu muồng heo ăn mà nhét cho đầy bụng, nhưng chẳng
ai cho</i></b></span><b><i><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">
</span></i></b><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">: Thân phận
của anh ta giờ đây không bằng loài heo nhơ bẩn</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">

: <i>+ Bấy giờ anh ta hồi tâm và tự nhủ...</i></span><i><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">

</i><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">Hòan cảnh đói khổ làm
cho đứa con thứ phải xét lại hành động sai trái của mình. <b>+
<i>Thế rồi anh ta đứng lên đi về cùng cha</i></b></span><b><i><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">
</span></i></b><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">: Anh trở về
không phải do thương cha, mà chỉ là một hành động tính tóan và
vụ lợi</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt"> </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">! Dụ ngôn đã không nhấn
mạnh đến sự ăn năn sám hối của người con thứ mà chỉ muốn đề cao
tình thương bao dung của người cha.</span></p>

<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">- <b><i>C 20b-24</i></b></span><b><i><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">
</span></i><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">: + <i>Ông chạnh
lòng thương, chạy ra ôm cổ anh ta và hôn lấy hôn để</i></span><i><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">
</span></i></b><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">: Động từ
“chạnh lòng thương” là lý do giải thích các hành động sau đó. Động từ
nầy tìm thấy trong trình thuật bà góa thành Na-im (7,3) và câu chuyện
người Sa-ma-ri-ta-nô nhân lành (10:33). Trong cả ba trường hợp này,
“chạnh lòng thương” nên đã cứu sống người sắp chết hoặc tái sinh người
đã chết. Cái hôn biểu lộ tình thương tha thứ. Tình thương này
được diễn tả qua sự kiện</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">
</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">: Ngay khi đứa con
còn ở đàng xa, ông đã trông thấy và chủ động chạy ra ôm hôn con
để biểu lộ sự tha thứ vô điều kiện, tha ngay trước khi nó kịp
nói lời thú tội<b>. + <i>Nhưng người cha liền bảo các đầy tớ
rằng</i></b></span><b><i><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">
</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">: “Mau đem áo đẹp
nhất ra đây...</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt"> </span>
</i><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">: </span></b>
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">Người cha không muốn nghe
đứa con nói hết câu xin lỗi, đã sẵn sàng ban cho nó quá điều
nó dám mong ước. Ý nghĩa của việc xỏ “nhẫn”, mặc “áo”mới (x. St
41:42) cho thấy người cha đã trả lại địa vị làm con, dù anh ta chỉ dám
xin trở thành người làm công cho cha. “Giết bò béo” (St 18,7) cho thấy
niềm vui tột đỉnh của người cha muốn chia sẻ niềm vui với người khác. <b>
+ Chân đi dép</b></span><b><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">
</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">: </span></b>
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">ám chỉ một người tự do,
khác với nô lệ phải đi chân đất. Vậy, người cha đã đón nhận lại đứa
con tội lỗi trong niềm vui lớn lao</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">
</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">; đồng thời phục hồi
lại cho nó quyền làm con, vì có người cha nào lại không xót thương con
cái mình (x. Tv 103:13).</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 48px; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 8pt">
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">- <b>C 25-28</b></span><b><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">
</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">: + <i>Người con cả</i></span><i><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">
</span></i></b><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">: Tượng trưng
cho các đầu mục dân Do thái. <b><i>+ nổi giận và không chịu vào
nhà</i></b></span><b><i><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">
</span></i></b><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">: Anh nổi
giận vì nghĩ rằng cha đã cư xử bất công với anh. Anh từ chối
vào nhà để tỏ thái độ phản đối cách cư xử bao dung của cha,
khi ông không những đón nhận mà còn mở tiệc để ăn mừng thằng
con bất hiếu trở về.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 48px; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 8pt">

người kia là em mình nên dùng cách nói khinh dể, giống như
người Pha-ri-sêu đã khinh dể người thu thuế trong dụ ngôn “hai
người lên Đền thờ cầu nguyện” (x. Lc 18,11).</span></p>

hoan hỷ</i></b>: Người cha mời gọi anh con cả hãy bước vào ngôi
nhà tình thương của cha, cùng chia sẻ niềm vui với cha khi đứa

<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">Qua câu này Đức Giê-su gián
tiếp trả lời cho những tiếng xầm xì của người Pha-ri-sêu và
mời họ chia sẻ tâm tình của Thiên Chúa đối với những kẻ tội
lỗi.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 48px; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 8pt">

dò xét, gài bẫy để thử thách và tìm bắt lỗi Người. Họ đòi
Người phải làm phép lạ để chứng minh sứ vụ Thiên Sai (x. Mc
8,11). Họ xuyên tạc các phép lạ Người làm để dân chúng đừng tin
theo Người và không gia nhập vào Nước Trời do Người thiết lập (x.
Mc 3,23-30). Cuối cùng họ liên kết với đảng Hê-rô-đê, và Thượng
Hội Đồng Do thái ở Giê-ru-sa-lem để bắt Đức Giê-su và kết án

Cha GIO-AN BỐT-CÔ (Gioan Bosco) thường hay đến thăm trại tù giam các em
thiếu niên phạm pháp. Một hôm ngài xin ban giám thị cho ngài được dẫn
các em tù nhân này đi cắm trại tại một khu rừng ngoài thành phố
Tô-ri-nô. Mọi người nghe biết đều ngạc nhiên vì từ trước đến nay chưa
từng có người nào dám cho các tù nhân tự do ra ngoài trại giam chơi như
vậy. Ban Giám thị sợ các tù nhân sẽ chạy trốn thì họ sẽ phải vào tù thay
thế. Cha BỐT-CÔ đã cam đoan nếu có trẻ em nào trốn, thì chính ngài sẽ ở
tù thế chỗ, nên cuối cùng họ đành miễn cưỡng chấp thuận và cho một đội
lính đi theo canh chừng. Nhưng ngài khăng khăng không cần lính canh, mà
chỉ một mình ngài cũng đủ để bảo vệ chúng. Thế là nhà tù đã mở cửa, các
em ào ào xếp thành hàng đôi đi tới bìa rừng cắm trại. Hôm ấy chúng thi
nhau chơi các trò chơi, ca hát, chạy nhảy và làm đủ trò vui… Em nào cũng
thỏa thích vô cùng và răm rắp nghe theo mệnh lệnh của Cha. Chiều về,
ngài dẫn một đoàn thiếu niên ngoan ngoãn kỷ luật và xếp hàng quay trở
lại nhà tù. Ban quản tù điểm danh không thiếu một em. Họ sửng sốt như
được thấy phép lạ. Cha BỐT-CÔ đã chinh phục được những con ngựa nhỏ bé
bất kham này nhờ tình yêu tha thiết đối với giới trẻ thiếu niên.</span></em></p>

Pindell) có viết một câu chuyện ngắn về một cậu bé tên là
ĐE-VÍT (David). Cậu ta đã nghe theo chúng bạn lén về nhà ăn cắp
một số tiền lớn rồi bỏ đi bụi đời. Mấy tháng sau, vì không
chịu nổi hoàn cảnh đói khát khổ cực, cậu đã viết một lá thư
gửi về cho mẹ. Trong thư, cậu tỏ ra hối lỗi và nhờ mẹ thuyết
phục ông bố vốn rất khiêm khắc, để xin ông tha tội và cho cậu
được về nhà sum họp với cha mẹ như trước. Nội dung lá thư ấy như
sau</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt"> </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">: “Mẹ kính yêu, trong một
vài ngày nữa con sẽ đáp chuyến xe lửa ngang qua nhà mình. Vậy
nhờ mẹ xin lỗi bố cho con. Nếu bố bằng lòng tha thứ và chấp
nhận cho con về nhà, thì xin mẹ yêu cầu bố hãy cột một miếng
vải trắng trên cây táo hồng ở cạnh nhà mình mẹ nhé !”.</span></p>

cây táo có cột một miếng vải trắng, lúc lại chẳng thấy có
miếng vải nào cả. Khi sắp đi ngang qua nhà, trái tim Đe-vít đập
nhanh hơn. Cậu quay sang người ngồi cạnh và ấp úng nói</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt">
