1. TIN MỪNG : Lc 4,1-13</span></b></p>

(1) Đức Giê-su được đầy Thánh Thần, từ sông Gio-đan trở về, và
được Thánh Thần dẫn đi trong hoang địa (2) bốn mươi ngày, chịu
quỷ cám dỗ. Trong những ngày ấy, Người không ăn gì cả, và khi
hết thời gian đó, thì Người thấy đói. (3) Bấy giờ, quỷ nói
với Người : “Nếu ông là Con Thiên Chúa thì truyền cho hòn đá
này hóa bánh đi !”. (4) Nhưng Đức Giê-su đáp lại : “Đã có lời
chép rằng : Người ta sống không chỉ nhờ cơm bánh”. (5) Sau đó,
quỷ đem Đức Giê-su lên cao, và trong giây lát, chỉ cho Người thấy
tất cả các nước thiên hạ. (6) Rồi nó nói với Người : “Tôi sẽ
cho ông toàn quyền cai trị cùng với vinh hoa lợi lộc của các
nước này, vì quyền hành ấy đã được trao cho tôi, và tôi muốn
cho ai tùy ý. (7) Vậy nếu ông bái lạy tôi, thì tất cả sẽ
thuộc về ông. (8) Đức Giê-su đáp lại : “Đã có lời chép rằng :
“Ngươi phải bái lạy Đức Chúa là Thiên Chúa của ngươi, và phải
thờ phượng một mình Người mà thôi”. (9) Quỷ đem Đức Giê-su đến
Giê-ru-sa-lem và đặt Người trên nóc Đền thờ, rồi nói với Người
: “Nếu ông là Con Thiên Chúa, thì đứng dậy mà gieo mình xuống
đi ! (10) Vì đã có lời chép rằng : “Thiên Chúa sẽ truyền cho
thiên sứ gìn giữ bạn”. (11) Lại còn chép rằng : “Thiên sứ sẽ
tay đỡ tay nâng, cho bạn khỏi vấp chân vào đá”. (12) Bấy giờ
Đức Giê-su đáp lại : “Đã có lời rằng : “Ngươi chớ thử thách
Đức Chúa là Thiên Chúa của ngươi”. (13) Sau khi đã xoay hết cách
để cám dỗ Người, quỷ bỏ đi chờ đợi thời cơ.</span></b></p>

Tin mừng thuật lại việc Thánh Thần hướng dẫn Đức Giê-su vào sa
mạc ăn chay cầu nguyện bốn mươi ngày và bị ma quỷ cám dỗ. Người
đã dùng Lời Thánh Kinh để ba lần chiến thắng ma quỷ </span>

Ma quỷ đề nghị chia sẻ quyền cai trị để biến Đức Giê-su thành
vị Mê-si-a trần thế theo kiểu vua Đa-vít ngày xưa. Người sẽ liên
kết với nhóm Do thái cực đoan để chiếm lại quyền hành và vinh
quang, đánh đuổi quân Rô-ma đang cai trị ra khỏi đất nước </span>

Bái lạy là thái độ của loài thụ tạo phục tùng Đấng Tạo Hóa
(x. Mt 2,5 ; 8,2). Dân Do thái khi xưa đã sa ngã phạm tội khi tôn
thờ bò vàng, nên đã bị phạt (x. Xh 32,1.31-35). Còn nay Đức
Giê-su nhắc lại điều luật Mô-sê truyền cho dân Do thái chỉ được
tôn thờ một mình Thiên Chúa mà thôi (x. Đnl 6,13).</span></p>

Sau này trong cuộc khổ nạn tại Giê-ru-sa-lem, các đầu mục Do
thái, bọn lính canh và tên gian phi cũng lặp lại cơn cám dỗ
này : “Hãy bước xuống khỏi thập giá để chúng ta thấy mà tin”
(x. Mt 27,42b-44). <b>+ “<i>Ngươi chớ thử thách Đức Chúa là Thiên
Chúa của ngươi”</i></b></span><b><i><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Tahoma,sans-serif">

Thử thách Thiên Chúa có hai nghĩa : một là như xưa ma quỷ đã
cám dỗ dân Do thái lẩm bẩm kêu trách và phản đối Đức Chúa,
Đấng đã giải phóng họ thoát khỏi ách nô lệ cho dân Ai cập,
đang khi lẽ ra họ phải tạ ơn và phó thác cậy trông nơi Người.
Hai là quỷ cám dỗ Đức Giê-su lợi dụng lòng tốt của Thiên Chúa
để tìm kiếm lợi lộc cho bản thân. Tội này cũng giống tội
“trông cậy quá lẽ”, nghĩa là đòi </span>

thay vì phải bỏ ý riêng mà vâng theo ý Thiên Chúa (x. Mc 14,36)</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Tahoma,sans-serif">.
<b>+ S<i>au khi đã xoay hết cách để cám dỗ Người, quỷ bỏ đi

: Thời cơ là cuộc thương khó của Đức Giê-su tại Giê-ru-sa-lem (x.
Lc 22,3). Trong vườn cây Dầu, Người đã bị ma quỷ cám dỗ từ
chối uống chén đắng đau khổ, nhưng Người đã chiến thắng cơn
cám dỗ đó bằng lời cầu xin với Chúa Cha : “Tuy vậy, xin đừng
làm theo ý Con, mà xin theo ý Cha” (Lc 22,42). Trên cây thập giá,
Người bị ma quỷ cám dỗ nghĩ mình đã bị Chúa Cha bỏ rơi ! (x.
Mt 27,46), nhưng Người đã chiến thắng nó qua lời cầu nguyện phó
thác hòan tòan vào sự quan phòng của Chúa Cha : “Lạy Cha, con
xin phó thác hồn con trong tay Cha” (Lc 23,46).</span></p>

1) CHƯỚC CÁM DỖ HIỂM ĐỘC CỦA MA QUỶ :</span></b></p>

<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Tahoma,sans-serif">
Ngày xưa có một thanh niên tính tình hiền lành, luôn hiếu thảo
với cha mẹ, và rất yêu thương vợ mình. Một hôm, một con quỷ đã
hiện ra và cám dỗ anh ta phạm tội. Quỷ cho anh được quyền chọn
làm một trong ba điều xấu : Một là chửi mắng cha mẹ. Hai là
giết chết cô vợ thân yêu. Ba là uống rượu. </span>
<span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Tahoma,sans-serif">
C</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Tahoma,sans-serif">hàng
thanh niên liền suy nghĩ : Chửi mắng cha mẹ là bất hiếu, nên ta
quyết không làm. Giết chết người vợ thân ỵêu là bất nghĩa, ta
cũng không thể làm được. Chỉ có uống rượu là ta có thể làm
được thôi, vì uống rượu đâu quá xấu ! Thế là anh ta chọn uống
rượu. Quỷ liền sai người cung cấp cho anh ta đủ các thứ rượu
