<span style="font-weight: normal">Hội Thánh mời gọi chúng ta mừng đại lễ

cũng để trở nên thần dân đích thực trong Vương quốc của Ngài.</span></p>

<span lang="VI">cũng đã tuyên xưng</span></span><span style="font-weight: normal">:</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">“Chúa</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
làm vua</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
<span lang="VI">Ngài đã mặc thiên oai. Chúa đã vận uy quyền</span></span><span style="font-weight: normal">,</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
<span lang="VI">Ngài đã thắt long đai.</span></span><span style="font-weight: normal">
Và Ngài đã giữ vững địa cầu, nó sẽ không còn lung lay. Ngai báu của Ngài
thiết lập từ muôn thuở, từ đời đời vẫn có Chúa” (Tv 92,1-2).</span></p>

normal">Nghe những lời tiên báo trên, chúng ta </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">có cảm tưởng Chúa Kitô là một</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
<span lang="VI">vị vua </span></span><span style="font-weight: normal">
trần thế uy phong lẫm liệt, muôn dân run sợ khiếp oai</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">.</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">Chính người Do Thái cũng luôn
nghĩ về Đấng Thiên Sai như thế. </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:
normal">Thế nhưng</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
trong bài Tin Mừng theo Thánh </span><span style="font-weight: normal">
Gioa</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">n, chúng ta </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">lại </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">thấy trái ngược</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">!</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">

lại xuất hiện trước mắt chúng ta như là</span><span style="font-weight: normal">
một</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal"> phạm nhân.</span><span style="font-weight: normal">
Chưa kể hôm sau, Ngài bị nhạo báng về vương vị của Ngài khi bị khoác cho
chiếc áo choàng đỏ, tay cầm cây sậy như vương trượng, đầu đội vòng gai
như mũ triều thiên, bị lột áo trần truồng và thập giá là ngai vàng khi
bị đóng đinh treo lơ lửng giữa đất và trời trong ô nhục ...</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
Quả vậy, </span><span style="font-weight: normal">Chúa Giêsu Kitô</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
<span lang="VI">đã bị các thượng tế</span></span><span style="font-weight: normal">,</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
luật sĩ</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
kỳ lão dân </span><span style="font-weight: normal">Do Thái mưu</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">bắt </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">trong đêm</span><span style="font-weight: normal">
tại</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal"> vườn </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">Cây </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">Dầu</span><span style="font-weight: normal">.
</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">Sáng hôm sau</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">Ngài bị </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">điệu đến trước tòa Philatô
trong dáng vẻ của </span><span style="font-weight: normal">một</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">trọng phạm,</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
<span lang="VI">bị đánh đập </span></span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">dã man </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">suốt đêm, đến nỗi không còn
dáng vẻ bình thường nữa</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
huống chi là </span><span style="font-weight: normal">hơi hám của một</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:
normal"> vị vua. Điều ấy làm cho </span><span style="font-weight: normal">tổng
trấn</span><span style="font-weight:normal"> <span lang="VI">Philatô
</span></span><span style="font-weight: normal">quá đỗi </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">ngạc nhiên. Và ông đã hỏi
Chúa Giêsu rằng</span><span style="font-weight: normal">:</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">“</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">Ông
có phải là vua dân Do Thái không</span><span style="font-weight: normal">?”</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">,
một câu hỏi nói lên thắc mắc cao độ về vương quyền của </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">Đức Kitô. </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">Chúa Giê</span><span style="font-weight: normal">su</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
<span lang="VI">đã không ngần ngại khẳng định điều đó</span></span><span style="font-weight: normal">:</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">“</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">Tôi
là vua. </span><span style="font-weight: normal">Tôi sinh </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">ra và đến trong thế gian này
là để làm chứng về chân lý. Ai thuộc về chân lý thì nghe tiếng Tôi</span><span style="font-weight: normal">”
(Ga 18,37).</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal"> Ngài cũng
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">nói rõ cho vị tổng trấn ngoại
đạo đang muốn tìm hiểu biết sự thật này:</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">“</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">Nước
Tôi không thuộc về thế gian này. Nếu nước Tôi thuộc về thế gian này thì
những người của Tôi đã chiến đấu để Tôi không bị nộp cho người Do Thái</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
<span lang="VI">nhưng mà nước Tôi không thuộc chốn này</span></span><span style="font-weight: normal">”
(Ga 18,36)</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">.</span></p>

normal">Vậy nước của Chúa</span><span style="font-weight: normal"> Kitô là</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">n</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">ước
như thế nào</span><span style="font-weight: normal">?</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
Các thần dân của Ngài ra sao và Ngài cai trị họ như thế nào</span><span style="font-weight: normal">?
</span></p>

<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:
normal">Trước hết, Bài đọc 2 sách Khải Huyền theo thánh </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">Gioan</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
tông đồ nói rõ với chúng ta</span><span style="font-weight: normal">:</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">“Chúa Kitô là</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
thủ lãnh các vua trần thế. Ngài thương yêu chúng ta, đã dùng máu mình mà
rửa chúng ta sạch mọi tội lỗi, làm cho chúng ta trở nên vương quốc và</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">tư tế của Thiên Chúa</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
<span lang="VI">Cha của Người</span></span><span style="font-weight: normal">”
(Kh 1,6-7)</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">.</span><span style="font-weight: normal">
Chúa Kitô được Chúa Cha tôn phong lên làm Vua của muôn loài thọ sinh
này, một danh hiệu vượt trên mọi danh hiệu, cả đời này lẫn đời sau, vì
tuy vốn là Thiên Chúa, Ngài đã ra như hủy mình đi khi mặc lấy thân phận
tôi đòi, giống như con người mọi đàng ngoại trừ tội lỗi. Người lại còn
hạ mình, vâng lời cho đến nỗi bằng lòng chịu chết để cứu chuộc nhân loại
tội lỗi, và chết trên thập giá, thể hiện tình yêu đến cùng của Vị Thiên
Chúa làm người. Ngài được Chúa Cha siêu tôn làm Vua các vua, Chúa các
chúa, vì bản tính Thiên Chúa của mình, và vì Ngài đã vâng phục thánh ý,
khi yêu thương hiến thân chịu chết để cứu vớt nhân loại khốn cùng (x.Pl
2,6-11). </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 48px">
<span style="font-weight: normal">Từ đó, nhân loại chúng sinh, một khi
đã được Chúa Giêsu hiến thân cứu chuộc, thì không ai thuộc về mình hay
làm tôi một vị vua nào khác nữa, mà là thuộc về Chúa Giêsu, là sở hữu
của Ngài. Thánh Phaolô còn nói thêm rằng chúng ta không còn sống cho
chính mình nữa, mà là sống cho Đấng đã chết và sống lại vì chúng ta (2Cr
5,15). Suy phục Vua Kitô vừa là lẽ phải mà cũng là vừa tự nguyện do tình
yêu thúc bách, vì tình yêu chỉ được đáp trả bằng tình yêu. Cho nên, thật
đẹp thay gương Á Thánh Anrê Phú Yên.</span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">Ngài chịu tử đạo mới 19 xuân xanh,
được mệnh danh là vị tử đạo đầu tiên của các anh hùng tử đạo Việt Nam
(1625-1644). Trong ngục tù cũng như trên đường tiến ra pháp trường, Thầy
đã nói vẫn một lời với những người thương mến đi theo mình, rằng : “Hãy
đem tình yêu đáp trả tình yêu, hiến dâng mạng sống đáp đền mạng sống.
Anh chị em ơi, hãy yêu mến Chúa Giêsu cho đến hết hơi, cho đến trọn đời
!”. Thánh Bênađô khi bình luận về sách Diễm Ca có nói: “Trong mọi hoạt
động, cảm xúc và tâm tình của linh hồn, chỉ có tình yêu có thể giúp thụ
tạo đáp lại Đấng Tạo Hoá, dầu không tương xứng, thì ít ra cũng giống
nhau được phần nào. Vì khi Thiên Chúa yêu, thì Người không muốn điều gì
khác hơn là được yêu: Thật vậy, Thiên Chúa yêu, thì Người không nhằm
điều gì khác ngoài được yêu lại, vì Người biết ai yêu mến Người thì sẽ
được hạnh phúc nhờ chính tình yêu đó”.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 48px">
<span style="font-weight: normal">Chúa Giêsu đã phục vụ nhân loại với
tình yêu cao cả, và chúng ta đi theo Ngài, phụng thờ tôn vinh Ngài cũng
với một trái tim yêu thương, đến mức hết lòng hết tâm hồn hết trí khôn
và hết sức, và cũng yêu thương tha nhân như gương Ngài đã yêu (x.Mc
12,29.30). Ai phụng sự Đức Kitô với tình yêu như thế sẽ là thần dân đích
thực và tuyệt đẹp của Ngài, sẽ mãi mãi ở trong Vương quốc tình yêu của
Ngài, để hoan hỉ chiêm ngưỡng Tôn Nhan Thiên Chúa Tình Yêu và sống trong
tình yêu thương đến muôn đời. </span></p>

<span style="font-weight: normal">Nguyện xin Đức Maria, Người Mẹ của
chúng ta, giúp chúng ta trở nên một tâm hồn đức ái trọn hảo trong cuộc
