tội lỗi của nhiều người, và Người sẽ xuất hiện lần thứ hai, không phải
để xóa tội, nhưng để cứu độ những ai trông đợi Người” (Dt 9,28).</span></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 48px">
<span style="font-weight: normal">Vào gần</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
cuối năm phụng vụ, Chúa Nhật 32 </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">năm B,</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
Phụng vụ Lời Chúa cho chúng ta thấy khuôn mặt và đức tính của </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">hai </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">bà góa</span><span style="font-weight: normal">:
bà góa thành Sarepta thời tiên tri Elia (1V 17,10-16) và bà góa góp hai
đồng nhỏ vào thùng tiền tại đền thờ Giêrusalem lúc Chúa Giêsu đang hiện
diện (Mc 12,41-44)</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">.
Mỗi bà mỗi vẻ</span><span style="font-weight: normal">, khác thời, chỉ
giống nhau ở sự góa bụa, nghèo túng, và nhất là có tấm lòng quảng đại
cao thượng mà Chúa yêu thích và khen ngợi (c 44). Cũng là điều</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
thích hợp </span><span style="font-weight: normal">khi sắp kết</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
năm phụng vụ</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
chúng ta lại có dịp</span><span style="font-weight: normal"> n</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">hìn
ngắm</span><span style="font-weight: normal"> hai gương mẫu này, </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">để noi </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">theo</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
tâm tình và thái độ sống đức tin</span><span style="font-weight: normal">

<span style="font-weight: normal">tiên tri Elia hãy đến tá túc nhà một
bà</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal"> góa </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">ở Sarepta thuộc Siđôn miền dân ngoại</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">.
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">Khi gặp bà đang lượm củi ở cổng
thành, vì đói và khát, nên vị tiên tri ngỏ lời xin: “</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">Xin
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">đem</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
cho tôi </span><span style="font-weight: normal">một</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
ít nước trong bình để tôi uống. </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">Và</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
xin cũng mang cho tôi </span><span style="font-weight: normal">một
</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">miếng bánh</span><span style="font-weight: normal">”.
Tưởng chừng lời xin đó đơn giản, nhưng thật ra </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">đó là </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">một</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
yêu cầu</span><span style="font-weight: normal"> quá</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
lớn lao đối với bà </span><span style="font-weight: normal">góa ấy trong
lúc </span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">này. </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">V</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">ì
trong lúc</span><span style="font-weight: normal"> hạn hán kéo dài,</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">

cho bà và con trai bà, rồi chờ</span><span style="font-weight: normal">

tiên tri lại yêu cầu bà làm cho ông </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">một</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
chiếc bánh</span><span style="font-weight: normal">!</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
Những khi đói </span><span style="font-weight: normal">rách</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
nghèo khổ, người ta </span><span style="font-weight: normal">thường
</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">dễ co cụm lại để lo
cho bản thân</span><span style="font-weight: normal"> và con cái mình</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
mình. </span><span style="font-weight: normal">Nhưng trong trường hợp
này thì</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal"> không. </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">Bà góa </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">nghèo khổ này đã sẵn </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">lòng <span lang="VI">làm </span>một</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
chiếc bánh để dâng cho vị tiên tri</span><span style="font-weight: normal">
đỡ đói</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">. Bà đã vượt
qua nỗi lo sợ của cái nghèo</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
cái đói</span><span style="font-weight: normal"> và cái chết</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">,
để làm </span><span style="font-weight: normal">một</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
việc nghĩa, vì bà tin vào lời v</span><span style="font-weight: normal">ị</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
tiên tri</span><span style="font-weight: normal">, tin vào Thiên Chúa
quyền năng sẽ yêu thương hai mẹ con bà: “Hũ</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
bột sẽ không cạn và bình dầu sẽ không vơi</span><span style="font-weight: normal">
cho đến ngày Chúa cho mưa xuống trên mặt đất” (c 14). Và sau đó, họ đã
đủ ăn lâu ngày cho đến lúc qua cơn hoạn nạn</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">.
“Kiến ngãi bất vi vô dõng dã”</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,
thấy việc nghĩa mà không làm thì không phải kẻ mạnh.</span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">Lòng tốt tự nhiên của con người đã
đáng quý.</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal"> Nhưng nếu
được đức tin s</span><span style="font-weight: normal">oi</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
dẫn, thì nó thật cao đẹp. Hành vi quảng đại và cao thượng của b</span><span style="font-weight: normal">à
góa nghèo</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal"> thành
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">S</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">ar</span><span style="font-weight: normal">e</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">pta
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">được Chúa Giêsu sau này nhắc
đến với lời ca ngợi: “Ta bảo các ngươi, chắc hẳn trong thời Elia có
nhiều bà goá ở Israel, khi trời hạn hán và một nạn đói lớn hoành hành
khắp nước suốt ba năm sáu tháng, nhưng Elia không được sai đến với một
người nào trong bọn họ, mà chỉ được sai đến với một bà goá ở Sarepta xứ
Siđôn thôi” (Lc 4,25-26)</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 48px">
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">Cũng trong giai đoạn này</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,
có một</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal"> người phụ nữ
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">đầy </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">quyền lực của </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal"> nước Israel</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
lúc bấy giờ</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
đó là hoàng hậu </span><span style="font-weight: normal">Isabel</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">.
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">Bà l</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">à
người ngoại giáo, nên khi kết hôn với vua </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">Acáp thì <span lang="VI">đã đem th</span>ần
Baal và các thần </span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
ngoại về</span><span style="font-weight: normal"> thờ ở <span lang="VI">
đền thờ </span>Samaria</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">.
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">Việc đó </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">làm cho lòng vua cũng như
dân chúng trở nên </span><span style="font-weight: normal">b</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">ất
xứng với Thiên Chúa. Bà </span><span style="font-weight: normal">cũng
</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">là người đã tìm cách
tiêu diệt tiên tri </span><span style="font-weight: normal">Elia </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">vì </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">ông</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
đã phá hỏng công việc của bà</span><span style="font-weight: normal"> là
ngoại giáo hóa dân nước Israel</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">.
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">Chính tiên tri Elia đã chiến
thắng</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal"> trong cuộc
chiến thiếu cân xứng </span><span style="font-weight: normal">nhờ đã cậy
vào uy danh Thiên Chúa, đã giết gần một ngàn tư tế ngoại giáo thua cuộc,
mà </span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">vì thế </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">ông phải trốn chạy sự phẫn nộ của bà
hoàng</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 48px">
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">Liên hệ như thế để chúng ta
thấy bà góa </span><span style="font-weight: normal">dân ngoại này</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
thật là </span><span style="font-weight: normal">một</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
hình ảnh đẹp của người biết tôn thờ Thiên Chúa</span><span style="font-weight: normal">
và cứu giúp tha nhân</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">.
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">Bà góa đó đẹp hơn hoàng hậu
Isabel</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal"> là</span><span style="font-weight: normal">
người</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal"> sống trong giàu
sang quyền lực</span><span style="font-weight: normal">, nhưng lại</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
không </span><span style="font-weight: normal">nhận ra có một
<span lang="VI">Thiên Chúa</span> đáng tôn thờ, mà lại kiêu căng mù tối
mưu hại Elia mặc dù đã thấy sự vô năng của các ngẫu thần</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 48px">
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">Thứ đến</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,
có một bà góa</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal"> được
Chúa Giêsu </span><span style="font-weight: normal">để ý <span lang="VI">
khi Ngài ngồi </span>quan sát dân chúng bỏ tiền vào hòm</span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">ở đền thờ Giêrusalem</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">.</span><span style="font-weight: normal">
Có nhiều người giàu bỏ nhiều tiền vào hòm, còn <span lang="VI">bà </span>
góa</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal"> này đã bỏ vào hòm
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">hai</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
đồng</span><span style="font-weight: normal"> là một phần tư</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
xu nhỏ. </span><span style="font-weight: normal">Nhưng <span lang="VI">
Chúa đã</span> có lời</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
khen ngợi tuyệt đẹp</span><span style="font-weight: normal"> bà góa này:
“Thầy nói thật với các con: trong những người bỏ tiền vào hòm, bà góa
nghèo này đã bỏ nhiều hơn ai hết. Vì tất cả những người kia bỏ của mình
dư thừa, còn</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal"> bà</span><span style="font-weight: normal">
này đang túng thiếu, đã bỏ</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
tất cả những gì</span><span style="font-weight: normal"> có để nuôi sống
mình” (Lc 4,43-44)</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">.
Nhiều người giàu đã bỏ những khoản tiền lớn</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,
</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">nhưng Chúa Giê</span><span style="font-weight: normal">su
</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">lại không khen ngợi</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,
vì <span lang="VI">Ngài thấu suốt </span>động cơ toan tính</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
của họ. Bà </span><span style="font-weight: normal">góa này </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">bỏ </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">hai</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
đồng tiền nhỏ vào thùng tiền</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,
nhưng Chúa biết bà đã dâng hết, với tấm</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
lòng yêu mến Thiên Chúa</span><span style="font-weight: normal">, phục
vụ cộng đồng và phục vụ</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
đạo Chúa. Chắc chắn, khi dân</span><span style="font-weight: normal">g</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
cúng như vậy, bà sẽ phải đối diện với bữa đói bữa no của gia đình mình.
Dầu vậy, </span><span style="font-weight: normal">lòng tin tưởng, cậy
trông, phó thác vào</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
Chúa</span><span style="font-weight: normal"> nơi bà vẫn không vơi, nó
lớn lên cùng với sự an bài của Thiên Phụ.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 48px">
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">Điều này làm cho chúng ta
nhớ đến lời Chúa </span><span style="font-weight: normal">Giêsu</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
dạy</span><span style="font-weight: normal">: “Hãy</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
tìm kiếm Nước Thiên Chúa trước và sự công chính của Ngài</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,
<span lang="VI">còn mọi sự khác sẽ thêm cho các con sau</span>” (Mt
6,33)</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">. Quả vậy, Chúa
không bao giờ </span><span style="font-weight: normal">thua </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">kém lòng quảng đại của con
người. </span><span style="font-weight: normal">Ai chu toàn thánh ý
Ngài, </span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">Ngài sẽ lo liệu
mọi sự. Nếu chúng ta có niềm tin mạnh mẽ, </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">lớn lao, chắc hẳn chúng ta sẽ </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">quảng đại dấn thân trong
cuộc đời của người Kitô hữu </span><span style="font-weight: normal">và
sẽ vui sướng ca lên</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">:
“Linh hồn tôi ơi</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
hãy người khen Chúa”, vì Ngài trả lại quyền lợi cho người bị áp bức, ban
lương thực cho kẻ đói được cơm ăn, Ngài mở mắt cho những kẻ đui mù và
giải thoát những ai bị khòm lưng khuất phục, Ngài nâng đỡ những người mồ
côi quả phụ (</span><span style="font-weight: normal">x. Tv 145,</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">7-10).</span><span style="font-weight: normal">
Kẻ nghèo hèn khốn khổ bần cùng luôn được Chúa đoái thương, và càng được
thương hơn nếu như có tâm hồn quảng đại cao thượng từ đức ái.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 48px">
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">Hành vi của các bà góa ấy
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">làm chúng ta nghĩ đến sự
<span lang="VI">quảng đại cao vời của Chúa </span>Đấng Cứu Thế</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
nơi thư gởi tín hữu Do Thái</span><span style="font-weight: normal"> (Dt
9,24-28)</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">. Tác giả đã
cho chúng ta chi</span><span style="font-weight: normal">ê</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">m
ngắm hình ảnh của </span><span style="font-weight: normal">một</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
vị Thượng Tế cao cả là </span><span style="font-weight: normal">Chúa
Giêsu Kitô,</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal"> Ngà</span><span style="font-weight: normal">i
<span lang="VI">đã hiến dâng chính mình cho Thiên Chúa để xóa tội lỗi
trần gian. </span>Sự hiến thân đó là một</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
hành vi cao thượng </span><span style="font-weight: normal">vô cùng</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">,
v</span><span style="font-weight: normal">ì <span lang="VI">không </span>
phải</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal"> cho đi tiền bạc
của cải hay danh vọng chức quyền gì đó, mà là cho đi</span><span style="font-weight: normal">
tất cả: cho chúng ta</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
chính bản thân</span><span style="font-weight: normal"> Thiên Chúa làm
người</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal"> của </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">Ngài. </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">Chúa </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">Giêsu</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
đã nêu gương cho chúng ta về s</span><span style="font-weight: normal">ự</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
trao ban đến tận cùng. Không có tình yêu nào cao quý cho bằng tình yêu
của người hiến mạng sống mình vì bạn hữu. Ngài đã yêu thương thế gian và
yêu thương đến cùng</span><span style="font-weight: normal">. </span>
</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 48px">
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">Cuối cùng</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
c</span><span style="font-weight: normal">òn bà</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
góa nữa trong Tin Mừng mà chúng ta không thể không nhắc đến</span><span style="font-weight: normal">:
<span lang="VI">đó chính là </span>Đức <span lang="VI">Maria. </span>Đức
Maria</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal"> đã hiến dâng</span><span style="font-weight: normal">
trọn</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal"> cuộc đời để
phụng sự cho sứ mệnh </span><span style="font-weight: normal">và</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
sự nghiệp của Đấng Cứu Thế. Mẹ đã cho đi </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">bản thân mình</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight: normal">
để làm theo thánh ý Chúa khi đồng công cộng tác với </span>
