nếu không có kinh nghiệm của những mùa xuân đã qua</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
thì có ai mà ngờ sẽ thấy được cảnh sống lại huy hoàng của thiên nhiên
như vậy. Với mùa xuân vĩnh cửu cũng thế</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
có nhiều điều rất kỳ diệu tự ta không thấy</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
nhưng Chúa có thể cho ta thấy. </span><span style="font-weight: normal">

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 48px">
<span style="font-weight: normal">“Đôi mắt là cửa sổ của tâm hồn”. Mắt
là cảm hứng cho thi sĩ làm thơ, cho nhạc sĩ viết nên cung đàn. Là hồn
cho thơ, là sóng cho nhạc. Có người nhìn đôi mắt như mùa thu, có người
nhìn đôi mắt như dòng sông. Trong văn chương và nghệ thuật cảm hứng về
mắt bao giờ cũng đẹp. Trái lại, khi nói về mắt, Phúc Âm lại nói về đôi
mắt mù lòa. Mù mắt thân xác đã bất hạnh, còn mù lòa đôi mắt tâm hồn lại
là một bất hạnh lớn. Mù đôi mắt tâm hồn là “mù” mà không chấp nhận mình
“mù”, vì nghĩ rằng mình vẫn sáng suốt để nhận ra Chúa, nhưng đâu ngờ
đằng sau đôi mắt ấy có thể chỉ là một màn đêm lạnh lẽo, một tâm hồn
trống trải buồn tênh, chẳng buồn nghe và thực thi lời Chúa nữa (Sđd).</span></p>

một bài học</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">. Bartimê
là tấm gương cho tất cả những ai muốn thấy</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,
muốn biết</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal"> Chúa Giêsu
thực sự là ai</span><span style="font-weight: normal"> – là Đấng giàu
lòng thương xót -</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal"> và
thực lòng muốn đi theo Ngài</span><span style="font-weight: normal">
(sđd). </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 48px">
<span style="font-weight: normal">Giêricô, theo tiếng Ả Rập cũng như Do
Thái, có nghĩa là “thơm ngát”, là một thành phố nằm gần sông Jordan ở Bờ
Tây thuộc các vùng lãnh thổ Palestine. Được Cựu Ước mô tả là "Thành phố
các cây cọ dầu", có nhiều suối nước dồi dào ở trong và xung quanh nên
Giêricô đã trở thành nơi hấp dẫn cho con người cư trú từ xa xưa.</span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">Giêricô cũng được coi là thành phố có
người cư ngụ liên tục lâu đời nhất thế giới (Theo Wikipedia). Giêricô
thành phố “thơm ngát”, nhưng trớ trêu thay, cuộc đời của anh mù Bartimê
thành Giêricô trước khi gặp Chúa Giêsu, thật chẳng thơm ngát tí nào!
</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 48px">
<span style="font-weight: normal">Vì</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
mù</span><span style="font-weight: normal"> lòa ngồi</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
</span><span style="font-weight: normal">ăn xin bên vệ đường, </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:
normal">nên anh</span><span style="font-weight: normal"> Bartimê</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
tha thiết xin </span><span style="font-weight: normal">Chúa thương xót:
“Hỡi ông Giêsu, con vua David, xin thương xót tôi”</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:
normal">.</span><span style="font-weight: normal"> Và khi người ta mắng bảo anh
im đi, đừng làm loạn, thì anh càng kêu to hơn: “Hỡi con vua David, xin
thương xót tôi”. Sau khi Đức Maria tuyên xưng “lòng thương xót Chúa trải
dài từ đời nọ đến đời kia dành cho những ai kính sợ Người” trong kinh
Magnificat, thì đến lượt anh Bartimê này đã khẩn khoản nài xin lòng
thương xót Chúa nhìn đến phận hèn khốn khổ của mình. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 48px">
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:
normal">Lòng thương xót </span><span style="font-weight: normal">Chúa</span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">được mạc khải cách huy hoàng rực rỡ
trong</span> <span style="font-weight: normal">Kinh Thánh</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:
normal">, hay nói </span><span style="font-weight: normal">cách khác</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">,
Kinh Thánh là một pho sách </span><span style="font-weight: normal">viết
về</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal"> lòng thương xót
Chúa. Khởi đầu sáng tạo, dù biết trước con người sa ngã, nhưng lòng Ngài
đã không chịu thua, Ngài vẫn dựng nên con người, cho con người hiện hữu
trên trần gian này và trao cho con người một ơn gọi </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">cùng </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">một sứ mệnh. Thế rồi khi con
người lợi dụng ân huệ của Thiên Chúa để chà đạp </span>
<span style="font-weight: normal">quyền năng và </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:
normal">tình yêu Ngài, thì </span><span style="font-weight: normal">lòng </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">thương xót</span><span style="font-weight: normal">
Ngài đã không bỏ cuộc mà vẫn theo đuổi họ cho đến cùng. </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">Lòng thương xót Chúa có dư đủ
bao la để ôm trọn tất cả số lượng tội lỗi khổng lồ của nhân loại</span><span style="font-weight: normal">
từ tạo thiên lập địa cho đến tận thế,</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
và đốt cháy</span><span style="font-weight: normal"> chúng</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
thành tro bụi trong lò lửa tình thương</span><span style="font-weight: normal">
xót</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 48px">
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:
normal">Về phương diện thể xác, lòng thương xót Chúa đã khiến kẻ mù được thấy,
kẻ què được đi, người phong được sạch, kẻ điếc được nghe, người chết
sống lại, kẻ đói khát được no đầy (x.</span><span style="font-weight: normal">
Bài đọc 1 Gr 31,7-9;</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:
normal"> Lc 7,22). Về phương diện tinh thần, Chúa còn làm những chuyện lạ lùng
lớn lao hơn nữa: </span><span style="font-weight: normal">cho </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">người nghèo được nghe giảng
Tin Mừng, kẻ dốt được nên khôn, người sợ hãi nên mạnh sức, kẻ trắc nết
nên trong sạch, cho tội nhân nên thánh thiện..., sự hư vô nên con Thiên
Chúa. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 48px">
<span style="font-weight: normal">Nếu ánh sáng cần cho đôi mắt, thì đức
tin cần cho tâm hồn, là ánh sáng của linh hồn. Anh mù Bartimê đã khẩn
khoản nài xin với lòng tin mạnh: “Lạy Thầy, xin cho con được thấy”. Chúa
Giêsu trả lời: “Được, đức tin của anh đã cứu chữa anh”. Tức khắc, anh
thấy được và đi theo Người (Mc 10,51-52). Đức tin của anh mù Bartimê
không chỉ cho anh sáng mắt thể lý nhìn thấy sự vật, mà còn sáng mắt tâm
hồn khi anh chọn Chúa và đi theo Người. Ai theo Ngài sẽ không bước đi
trong tối tăm, nhưng có ánh sáng ban sự sống. Chỉ sợ rằng nhiều khi Chúa
Giêsu đã “đến nhà mình, nhưng người nhà chẳng chịu đón nhận” (Ga 1,11).
</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 48px">
<span style="font-weight: normal">Tin Mừng chữa lành người mù như ngụ ý
muốn nói rằng Chúa Giêsu Kitô chính là ánh sáng cho trần gian. Ánh sáng
Kitô đã đến trần gian, chiếu soi trong bóng tối, và bóng tối đã không
diệt được ánh sáng. Thánh Gioan Tiền Hô là người được Thiên Chúa sai đến
làm chứng cho Chúa Giêsu, để mọi người nhờ ông mà tin. Ông không phải là
ánh sáng, nhưng ông đến để làm chứng về ánh sáng. Ngôi Lời là ánh sáng
thật, ánh sáng ấy đến thế gian và chiếu soi mọi người. Người xuống ở
giữa thế gian. Người đã đến nhà mình, và những ai đón nhận, tức là những
ai tin vào danh Người, thì Người cho họ quyền trở nên con Thiên Chúa
(x.Ga 1,1-18).</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 48px">
<span style="font-weight: normal">Dự phần vào các mầu nhiệm cuộc đời
Chúa Kitô,</span> <span style="font-weight: normal">Đức Maria cũng “đang
chiếu sáng như dấu chỉ lòng cậy trông và niềm an ủi cho dân Chúa đang lữ
hành dưới đất này, cho tới ngày Chúa đến” (LG 68). Hình ảnh chiếu sáng
ấy gợi cho chúng ta thấy một vì sao đêm rạng ngời, một ngôi sao biển,
xua đi bao nỗi sợ hãi vì bóng đêm u tối, soi sáng cho mọi người vững tâm
vượt qua giông tố mây mù u ám, đem ánh bình minh tươi sáng với mặt trời
công chính là Chúa Kitô xuất hiện, nhất là trong thời đại này. Xin Đức
Maria chiếu tỏa ánh sáng Chúa Kitô trên tâm hồn mọi người chúng ta.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 48px">
<span style="font-weight: normal">“Chúa đã đối xử đại lượng với chúng
tôi nên chúng tôi mừng rỡ hân hoan” (Tv 125,3). </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">Lạy Chúa Giê</span><span style="font-weight: normal">su,
xin tỏ lòng thương xót con, xin chiếu sáng linh hồn con,</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
<span lang="VI">xin mở mắt tâm hồn con</span></span><span style="font-weight: normal">,</span><span lang="VI" style="font-weight:normal">
vì con cần được khai mở để nhận ra Chúa và bước theo Ngài</span><span style="font-weight: normal">,</span><span style="font-weight:normal">
