Chúa quan tâm trong bài Tin Mừng tuần trước là các môn đệ và đám đông

- Thưa cha tấm lòng của Chúa là tấm lòng rất tốt.</span></font></p>

- Chúng con trả lời rất hay. Chỉ vì Chúa có tấm lòng tốt nên Chúa mới
biết quan tâm đến những người chung quanh mình. Chỉ vì Chúa có tấm lòng
tốt cho nên Chúa biết để ý đến những người khác. Đám đông theo Chúa đã
mấy ngày ở nơi hoang vắng. Chúa thấy họ cần phải được ăn. Chúa </span>

hỏi ông Phi-líp-phê: "Ta mua đâu ra bánh cho họ ăn đây?"(Ga 3,5)</span></font></p>

Tin Mừng ghi Chúa hỏi ông Philipphê như vậy để <b><i>

Chúa đã làm gì thì chúng con đã thấy. Một phép lá quá lớn, lớn không ai
dám ngờ tới. Dân chúng được ăn no nê thoải mái má vẫn còn dư thừa.</span></font></p>

Chúng ta hãy tập cho mình biết đối xử tốt với mọi người như Chúa,</span></font></p>

Cha kể cho chúng con nghe câu chuyện này: "Một hôm hoàng đế Napoléon của
Pháp vào một nhà hàng nọ. Đi theo ông, chỉ có một sĩ quan tùy viên. Vì
không muốn cho ai nhận ra mình là hoàng đế nên ông và viên sĩ quan tùy
viên đã ăn mặc như một người thường dân. </span></font></p>

Sau khi hai người ăn uống xong, chủ quán đến tính tiền. Tổng cộng là 14
quan. Viên sĩ quan tùy viên lấy tiền trả. Nhưng bỗng mặt ông tái mét đi
vì ông quên đem tiền theo. </span></font></p>

- Thật là xui cho chúng tôi. Hôm nay chúng tôi đi mà quên đem theo tiền.
Xin bà vui lòng cho chúng tôi khất một giờ đồng hồ nữa, tôi sẽ trở lại
để thanh toán số tiền này cho bà. </span></font></p>

Bà chủ nhà hàng nhất định không chịu và còn dọa là nếu hai người không

Anh bồi bàn theo dõi câu truyện từ đầu, cảm thương cho hai người khách

Tôi xin trả 14 quan thay cho hai ông khách này. Xem ra hai ông đây là

Viên sĩ quan lấy từ ở trong túi ra số tiền 30.000 quan và đặt trên bàn

- Vâng lệnh của chủ tôi là hoàng đế Napoléon, tôi xin bà sang lại quán

tôi kẹt không đem theo tiền. </span></font></p>

Đó là một câu nói mà cha coi như châm ngôn của cuộc đời. Câu đó như thế
này: <b><i><span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic">"Sống có
đức, mặc sức mà ăn".</span></i></b> Chúng con đã nghe ai nói với chúng
con câu đó chưa. Hôm nay chúng con hãy nhớ đi <i>
<span style="font-style: italic">"<b><span style="font-weight: bold">Sống
có đức, mặc sức mà ăn". </span></b></span></i></span></font></p>

2. Điều thứ hai đó là tấm lòng tốt của em bé bán bánh.</span></font></i></b></p>

Em bé bán bánh chỉ có "</span><span lang="FR" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">năm
chiếc bánh lúa mạch và hai con cá" (Ga 6,7). Gia tài của em chỉ vỏn vẹn
có thế. Chắc là cha mẹ em nghèo cho nên bắt em đi làm cái nghề bán bánh
dạo này. Giữa một biển người đang đói cần phải ăn, nếu em có "hét" giá
thật cao thì có lẽ cũng chẳng thiếu gì người muốn mua. Thế nhưng em đã
quảng đại dâng cho Chúa. Thật là một việc làm thật quí giá. Giả như hôm
đó không có năm cái bánh và hai con cá của em bé thì cha tin Chúa vẫn
làm phép lạ. Lý do vì Chúa thương. Tình thương đã làm cho Chúa thốn thức
trong lòng đến nỗi Người không thể cam tâm nhìn đoàn người đang đói cần
phải ăn nhưng không có bánh. Thế nhưng ở đây Chúa vẫn đón nhận 5 chiếc
bánh và 2 con cá của một em bé như một <b><i>
<span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic">đóng góp</span></i></b>
tuy nhỏ bé, nhưng rất đẹp lòng Chúa.</span></font></p>

Sự đóng góp của con người vào công việc của Chúa thật đẹp biết bao.

Đọc trong toàn bộ Kinh Thánh chúng ta thấy Chúa rất thích điều đó. Thử
hỏi còn gì quan trọng và vĩ đại bằng công trình cứu chuộc cả loài người,
thế mà Thiên Chúa đã không tự mình làm, mà Chúa đã đón nhận lời Xin Vâng
của một có thiếu nữ nghèo khó. Chúng con có biết người đó là ai không?</span></font></p>

bìa rừng, ông trông thấy một cụ già râu tóc bạc phơ đang cặm cụi đào lỗ
trồng cây, Hoàng đế liền thắng ngựa và lớn tiếng bảo cụ già:</span></font></p>

-Thưa Hoàng Thượng, năm nay hạ thần vừa tròn một trăm tuổi, biết đâu
Thiên Chúa còn cho hạ thần sống thêm một ít năm nữa để hưởng dùng trái
cây này. Dù sao, mỗi khi trồng cây, hạ thần không làm gì hơn là tiếp tục
công trình sáng tạo của Thiên Chúa, Đấng đã truyền cho trái đất trổ sinh
hoa trái phong phú.</span></font></p>

Ít lâu năm sau, những cây vả đã bắt đầu nở hoa, rồi kết trái đầy cành.
Đợi tới ngày trái vả chín ngọt, cụ già hái đầy một giỏ, rồi lên đường
tới đền vua. Tới cổng, lính canh từ chối không cho cụ già nghèo nèn vào
chầu vua, nhưng cụ già cứ nài nỉ phân trần đầu đuôi câu chuyện, và rồi
vì kính nể tuổi già tóc bạc, sau cùng mấy anh lính tháp tùng cụ già vào
triều yết vua. Cụ già khiêm tốn cúi mình trước ngai vua và nói:</span></font></p>

Tâu Hoàng Thượng, hạ thần là ông già khom lưng trồng cây bên bìa rừng mà
Hoàng Thượng đã gặp mấy năm trước đây. Hôm nay hạ thần xin kính dâng
Hoàng Thượng những trái chín ngọt đầu mùa của cây vả mà hạ thần đã trồng
hồi năm ấy.</span></font></p>

Nhà vua vui mừng nhận ra cụ già và rất hài lòng với món quà cụ kính
dâng, nhất là với lòng trung tín và sự cần cù của cụ. Ngài vui vẻ đổi
lại cho cụ già một giỏ đầy những đồng tiền vàng và nói:</span></font></p>
