Giêsu tiến về phía mình, liền nói: "Ðây là Chiên Thiên Chúa, đây Ðấng
xóa bỏ tội trần gian. Chính Người là Ðấng tôi đã nói tới khi bảo rằng:
Có người đến sau tôi, nhưng trổi hơn tôi, vì có trước tôi. Tôi đã không
biết Người, nhưng để Người được tỏ ra cho dân Ít-ra-en, tôi đến làm phép
rửa trong nước." Ông Gioan còn làm chứng: "Tôi đã thấy Thần Khí tựa chim
bồ câu từ trời xuống và ngự trên Người. </span></p>

Nhưng chính Ðấng sai tôi đi làm phép rửa trong nước đã bảo tôi: "Ngươi
thấy Thần Khí xuống và ngự trên ai thì người đó chính là Ðấng làm phép
rửa trong Thánh Thần." </span></p>

<b><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt">B. DÀNH CHO NGƯỜI LỚN</span></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt">Thánh Gioan Tẩy Giả đã giới
thiệu và làm chứng về Chúa Giêsu cho mọi người.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt">Theo Công Đồng Vaticanô II thì
mỗi người chúng ta cũng có hai nhiệm vụ đó: </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt">Sắc lệnh truyền giáo số 11
viết: “Mọi Kitô hữu, dù sống ở đâu, đều phải lấy gương mẫu đời sống và
chứng tá lời nói để biểu dương con người mới mà họ đã mặc lấy nhờ phép
Rửa, cũng như biểu dương sức mạnh của Chúa Thánh Thần mà họ đã được củng
cố nhờ Bí tích Thêm Sức, để những người khác nhìn thấy những việc làm
của họ mà ngợi khen Chúa Cha, cùng nhận thức đầy đủ hơn ý nghĩa đích
thực của đời sống con người cũng như mối giây liên kết toàn thể cộng
đồng nhân loại”.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt"> <b><i>Hơn nữa,</i></b> Công
đồng trong Hiến chế về Hội thánh còn dạy rằng họ phải làm chứng đặc biệt
về sự phục sinh của Chúa Kitô trước mặt nhân loại: "Mỗi giáo dân phải
làm chứng về sự phục sinh và sự sống của Chúa Giêsu, đồng thời là dấu
hiệu của Thiên Chúa hằng sống. Tất cả và mỗi người phải góp phần nuôi
dưỡng thế giới bằng hoa trái thiêng liêng (x. Gal 5,22), và truyền bá
cho thế giới tinh thần nghèo khó, hiền lành và hiếu hòa, những người mà
Phúc âm đã tuyên bố là có phúc (Mt 5,3-4). Tóm lại, người Kitô hãy làm
cho thế giới này sống, cũng như linh hồn làm cho thân xác sống vậy”.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt">Đại tướng Lew Wallace là người vô thần.
Ông cùng đi chung chuyến xe lửa với đại tá Robert. Trong lúc chuyện trò,
Lew Wallace nói với Robert:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt">- Bọn Công Giáo thật là một lũ ngu xuẩn,
đúng như lời Lênin nói: “Tôn giáo là thuốc phiện, là sản phẩm của những
kẻ bạc nhược!” Xưa nay có nhiều người tấn công niềm tin của bọn Công
Giáo, nhưng không ai vạch ra cho họ thấy những điều mê tín, trái khoa
học trong cuốn sách mà bọn họ gọi là Thánh Kinh. Phen này tôi sẽ để
nhiều thời gian đọc và nghiên cứu nó, chắc chắn tôi sẽ minh chứng cho họ
thấy cái sai trái của họ. Tôi sẽ là người giải phóng họ!</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt">Đại tá Robert nghe mát tai, nên nói:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt">- Chúc đại tướng thành công.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt">Thế là Lew Wallace ngày nào cũng mải
miết đọc Thánh Kinh xuyên suốt 5 năm. Kết quả thay vì Lew Wallace vạch
cho người Công Giáo phải mở mắt thấy những sai lầm của Kinh Thánh như
ông tưởng mà trái lại ông còn viết một tác phẩm rất nổi tiếng đó là tác
phẩm <b>Benhur </b>để tuyên xung niềm tin của mình vào Chúa Giêsu. Chính
trong tác phẩm này ông không ngần ngại quả quyết với mọi người rằng
chính Chúa Giêsu là Đấng Cứu Thế. Tác phẩm của ông sau này được đóng
thành phim rất nổi tiếng, Nhờ xem cuốn phim này mà có nhiều người không
biết gì về Thiên Chúa, sau khi xem họ đã trở nên người Công Giáo chân
chính.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt">Sau đây là doạn kết của cuốn Phim Ben
Hur của Lew Wallace. chúng ta hảy xem lại đoạn phim này để chúng ta thấy
được diều mà một con người vô thần sau khi trở thành con Thiên Chúa đã
làm chứng. Chúa Giêsu chết trên thập giá. Một cơn mưa đã làm cho giòng
máu từ cạnh sườn Chúa đổ ra hòa với giòng nước mưa chảy xuống thung lũng
nơi có nhiều người cùi đang sinh sống. Chính nhờ giòng nước có hoà lẫn
với máu của Chúa chảy qua mà những người đó đã được khỏi bệnh tức khắc.</span></td></tr><tr><td width="474">

thân mến,</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-indent:
36.0pt"><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">Trong suốt
mấy tuần lễ qua, chúng ta đã được nghe nói nhiều về Chúa Giêsu. Nào là
việc Chúa Giáng sinh làm người, các đạo sĩ đến thờ lạy Chúa, nào là việc
Chúa sống ở Nazareth. Hôm nay khi xuất hiện lần đầu tiên trong cuộc đời
loan báo Tin Mừng thì Chúa Giêsu được thánh Gioan Tẩy Giả long trọng
giới thiệu Chúa cho mọi người bằng những lời hết sức cao đẹp và trang
trọng sau đây </span><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt">"Ðây là
Chiên Thiên Chúa, đây Ðấng xóa bỏ tội trần gian. Chính Người là Ðấng tôi
đã nói tới khi bảo rằng: Có người đến sau tôi, nhưng trổi hơn tôi, vì có
trước tôi. Tôi đã không biết Người, nhưng để Người được tỏ ra cho dân
Ít-ra-en, tôi đến làm phép rửa trong nước." Và ông Gioan còn làm chứng:
"Tôi đã thấy Thần Khí tựa chim bồ câu từ trời xuống và ngự trên Người.
Tôi đã không biết Người. Nhưng chính Ðấng sai tôi đi làm phép rửa trong
nước đã bảo tôi: "Ngươi thấy Thần Khí xuống và ngự trên ai thì người đó

chứng thực rằng Người là Ðấng Thiên Chúa tuyển chọn."(Ga 1,29-33)</span></p>

36.0pt"><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">Thế chúng
ta tự hỏi: Chúa Giêsu, được giới thiệu một cách trân trọng như thế để
làm gì? thì câu trả lời chúng con đã được nghe trong bài sách thánh thứ
I trích từ sách Ngôn sứ Isaia: </span><b>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt">“Này Ta đặt Ngươi làm ánh sáng
các dân tộc để ơn cứu độ của Ta tràn lan khắp địa cầu”.</span></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-indent:
36.0pt"><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">Như vậy
chúng con thấy, Chúa Giêsu đã không tự mình xuống thế ... mà là được
Thiên Chúa Cha sai Ngài xuống thế.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-indent:
36.0pt"><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">Vậy thì
cha hỏi: Người được sai đi, cử đi là người làm theo ý muốn của ai?</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-indent:
36.0pt"><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">Chắc không
phải của mình mà là của Người sai mình đi. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-indent:
36.0pt"><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">Chúa
Giêsu đã cho chúng ta thấy rõ Chúa làm theo ý của Chúa Cha là Đấng sai
Ngài mà ý của Đấng sai đã Ngài thì thật rõ ràng đó là đem </span><b>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt">Ơn Cứu độ </span></b>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">xuống cho
trần gian như lời Ngôn sứ đã nói trên.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-indent:
36.0pt"><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">Cha lấy
một ví dụ, </span><b><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt">Dandolo
</span></b>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">là một
chàng trai tuấn tú của thành Venise. Vì yếu thế thành Venise phải chịu
lệ thuộc hoàng đế Bysance. Dandolo được cử tới Byzance để ký một hiệp
ước. Hoàng đế Byzance trao cho chàng một bài luận mới đã được dọn sẵn để
chàng ký. Dandolo đọc kỹ và người ta thấy nét mặt chàng có vẻ giận dữ và
tái đi. Chàng nghĩ ký như thế này sẽ là nhục cho quê hương và mất hết
danh dự của mình, cho nên chàng trẻ liền nói với Byzance</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-indent:
36.0pt"><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">- Tôi
không ký.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-indent:
36.0pt"><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">Hoàng đế
bất mãn... nhưng sau cũng ôn tồn đưa ra những báu vật để dụ dỗ. Thấy báu
vật, Dandolo bỉu môi khinh bỉ .</span></p>

36.0pt"><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">Hoàng đế
tức giận liền đe dọa.</span></p>

chỉ cười.</span></p>

Hoàng đế la lên: </span></p>

nạn, nếu ngươi không làm theo ý ta, ta sẽ cho trói ngươi.</span></p>

làm thinh</span></p>

đem sắt nung đỏ ép sát vào mi mắt chàng </span></p>

khét.</span></p>

hành quyết, Dandolo dõng dạc tuyên bố:</span></p>

cứu.</span></b></p>

Dandolo can đảm như thế. Tại vì chàng biết quê hương sai ông đi để làm
vinh dự cho quê hương chứ không nhục mạ quê hương và quả thực ông đã
thỏa mãn được mong mỏi của quê hương </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-indent:
36.0pt"><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt">Còn Chúa Giêsu thì như thế
nào chúng con?</span></p>

Kinh Thánh đã nói về Ngài: “Này là Con Ta, Ta hài lòng vì con”.</span></p>

36.0pt"><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">Thiên Chúa
Cha sai Chúa Giêsu xuống trần gian để đem ơn cứu độ cho trần gian. Ngặt
một nỗi là Thiên Chúa Cha lại không muốn cho con của Người làm công việc
đó trong dễ dãi... mà là trong đau khổ. Chúng con nhớ lại cảnh nơi vườn
cây dầu: Khi phải đứng trước một thử thách quá lớn lao, phải chết đau
khổ để chuộc tội mang ơn cứu độ cho loài người – Sức yếu đuối của con
người làm cho Chúa Giêsu cảm thấy sợ. Nhưng ý của Thiên Chúa Cha bao giờ
cũng phải được tôn trọng.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-indent:
36.0pt"><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">- Lạy Cha,
nếu có thể được thì xin cất cho con chén này nhưng xin đừng theo ý con
mà là ý của Cha.</span></p>

36.0pt"><b><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt">2. Nhưng Chúa Giêsu chết
như vậy để làm gì chúng con?</span></b></p>

con nghe lời thánh Gioan tẩy giả (Ga 1,29- 34): </span><b>

36.0pt"><b><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt">Raja Nasa </span></b>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">có kể lại
một câu chuyện sau đây:</span></p>

36.0pt"><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">Tại một
nước kia có một lãnh chúa đầy quyền lực. Ông rất giàu và có nhiều của
cải. Ông ta sống trong một lâu đài được xây cất trông rất kiên cố.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-indent:
36.0pt"><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">Một lần
ông ta lệnh cho mời vị pháp quan tới và bảo cho ông này:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-indent:
36.0pt"><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">- Ta
truyền cho khanh phải làm cho ta một quả chuông thật lớn. Ta muốn quả
chuông này sẽ là quả chuông lớn nhất và đẹp nhất trên thế giới và khi
quả chuông này vang lên thì mọi thần dân của ta đều nghe thấy...</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-indent:
36.0pt"><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">Vị phán
quan cho mời tất cả những người quyền thế trong thành lại và cho họ biết
ý muốn của vị lãnh Chúa của họ.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-indent:
36.0pt"><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">Tất cả đều
đồng thanh hứa sẽ làm cho vị lãnh chúa được hài lòng.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-indent:
36.0pt"><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">Thế là
chẳng bao lâu công việc được tiến hành, người ta mang vàng, bạc và rất
nhiều loại kim loại tới. Họ bắt đầu nấu chảy rồi tính trộn lại với nhau
trong một cái thùng thật lớn nhưng họ không biết làm cách nào để cho các
thứ kim loại được nấu trộn lẫn với nhau được. Bao nhiêu công khó đổ ra
đều vô ích cả.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-indent:
36.0pt"><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">Vị pháp
quan vào thưa với vị lãnh chúa:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-indent:
36.0pt"><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">- Muôn tâu
chúa thượng đầy khôn ngoan...Chúng tôi không thể làm được cái chuông như
ý ngài mong muốn. Tất cả các quí kim đã được mang tới nhưng không thể
nào làm cho chúng hòa lẫn cùng nhau được . Xin Ngài có cách nào chỉ bảo.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-indent:
36.0pt"><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">Vị lãnh
Chúa nét mặt tức giận, ông truyền lệnh:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-indent:
36.0pt"><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">- Nếu
ngươi không làm được thì ngươi sẽ phải chết. Sẽ có người khác làm công
việc này.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-indent:
36.0pt"><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">Viên pháp
quan run sợ. Ông liền đi tìm một thầy pháp. Ông thày pháp bảo:</span></p>

36.0pt"><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">- Ông phải
nấu với một người con gái đẹp ...</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-indent:
36.0pt"><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">Đấy là một
cách tốt nhất ông có thể có được một cái chuông đẹp nhất và tiếng của nó
sẽ sang nhất thế giới.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-indent:
36.0pt"><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">Nhiều
người biết được câu chuyện này..... thì sợ hãi. Nhưng có một cô gái
rất đẹp. Cô là người con duy nhất của vị pháp quan. Cô biết cô phải làm
gì. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-indent:
36.0pt"><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">Cô bước
tới chỗ vạc dùng để nấu kim loại. Cô nhìn, rồi cô liền trả lời:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-indent:
36.0pt"><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">- Tôi sẽ
làm.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-indent:
36.0pt"><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal"> Và rồi cô
đã chết cho cha cô. Cô thực là anh hùng.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-indent:
36.0pt"><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">Cái chết
của cô anh hùng thật nhưng mới chỉ là cái chết của một người bình
thường. Cô chết để cứu người cha thân yêu của cô. Việc đó thật đáng ca
ngợi.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-indent:
36.0pt"><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">Còn Chúa,
Chúa Giêsu là Con Thiên Chúa thì sao chúng con?</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-indent:
36.0pt"><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">Thánh
Gioan Tẩy giả đã nói: </span><b>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt">Ngài là Con Thiên Chúa</span></b><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">.
Con Thiên Chúa xuống trần gian. Con Thiên Chúa đã chết để đền tội thay
cho con người. Đấng tạo hóa chết để đền tội cho tạo vật. Việc này có cao
cả và kỳ diệu không chúng con. Cha tưởng đây là một sự hy sinh quá cao
cả loài người chẳng ai dám nghĩ tới thế mà Thiên Chúa vì yêu thương con
người đã làm như thế.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-indent:
36.0pt"><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-style: normal">Chúng ta
phải cám ơn Chúa. Chúng ta xin Chúa cho chúng ta được sống trung tín với
