(22) Trên đường lên Giê-ru-sa-lem, Đức Giê-su đi ngang qua các thành
thị và làng mạc mà giảng dạy. (23) Có kẻ hỏi Người : “Thưa
Ngài, những người được cứu thoát thì ít, có phải không ?”
Người bảo họ : (24) “Hãy chiến đấu để qua được cửa hẹp mà
vào. Vì tôi nói cho anh em biết : Có nhiều người sẽ tìm cách
vào mà không thể được”. (25) Một khi chủ nhà đã đứng dậy và
khóa cửa lại, mà anh em còn đứng ở ngoài, bắt đầu gõ cửa mà
nói : “Thưa Ngài, xin mở cho chúng tôi vào !”, thì ông sẽ bảo
anh em : “Các anh đấy ư ? Ta không biết các anh từ đâu đến !” (26)
Bấy giờ anh em mới nói : “Chúng tôi đã từng được ăn uống trước
mặt Ngài, và Ngài cũng đã từng giảng dạy trên các đường phố
của chúng tôi”. (27) Nhưng ông sẽ đáp với anh em : “Ta không biết
các anh từ đâu đến. Cút đi cho khuất mắt Ta, hỡi tất cả những
quân làm điều bất chính !” (28) “Ở đó anh em sẽ khóc lóc

đến dự tiệc trong Nước Thiên Chúa. (30) Và kìa, có những kẻ
đứng chót sẽ lên hàng đầu, và có những kẻ đứng đầu sẽ xuống
hàng chót”.</span></b></p>

2. Ý CHÍNH : </span></b>
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Trong Tin mừng hôm nay, Lu-ca ghi lại Lời Đức Giê-su trả lời cho hai
câu hỏi: Câu hỏi một : <b>Ai sẽ được ơn cứu độ ? </b>Thưa hết mọi người
đều được hưởng ơn cứu độ với các tổ phụ của dân Do thái, đang khi
chính dân này lại bị loại ra ngoài. Câu hỏi hai : <b>Muốn được
hưởng ơn cứu độ ta </b></span><b>

Trên đường từ miền Ga-li-lê (Bắc), theo đường bộ về Thủ đô
Giê-ru-sa-lem thuộc miền Giu</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">-</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">đê
(Nam), Đức Giê-su đã đi ngang qua nhiều thành thị làng mạc. <b>+
<i>Thưa Ngài, những người được cứu thoát thì ít, có phải không
? :</i></b> Thời Đức Giê-su có hai quan niệm về ơn cứu độ trái
ngược nhau : Phe lạc quan thì cho rằng bất cứ ai gốc Do thái,
tuân giữ Luật pháp Mô-sê, thì đương nhiên sẽ được ơn cứu độ.
Còn phe bi quan, chịu ảnh hưởng của sách mạo thư (4 Esdra) thì
chỉ có rất ít người được ơn cứu độ mà thôi. <b>+ <i>Hãy chiến
đấu để qua được cửu hẹp mà vào :</i></b> Đức Giê-su không trả
lời trực tiếp câu hỏi của người kia, mà Người khuyên hãy cố
gắng phấn đấu và bền chí để được cứu thoát (x. Lc 16,16 ; Mt
11,12 ; 24,13). <b>+ <i>Có nhiều người sẽ tìm cách vào mà không
thể được : </i></b>Không vào được vì </span>

<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
- <b>25-27 : <i>+ Một khi chủ nhà đã đứng dậy và khóa cửa lại
:</i></b> “Cửa khóa lại” là biểu tượng của ngày tận thế chung
toàn thể nhân loại hay giờ chết riêng của mỗi người. Những kẻ
không sống theo ý Chúa, khi phải ra trước tòa Chúa phán xét
thì đã muộn, vì bấy giờ cửa đã khóa lại. <b>+ “<i>Thưa Ngài
xin mở cửa cho chúng tôi vào !” : </i></b>Đợi đến lúc chết hay
lúc tận thế mới chịu hồi tâm sám hối và nài xin vị Thẩm
phán mở cửa cho vào thì đã muộn. <b>+ “<i>Ta không biết các anh
từ đâu đến !” : </i></b>Đây là kiểu nói Do thái, tương đương với
câu : “Ta không biết các ngươi là ai”. Vị Thẩm phán không nhận
những người Do thái xấu xa làm gia nhân. Để được làm dân Thiên
Chúa thì nguyên việc thuộc dòng giống Áp-ra-ham không đủ (x. Lc
3,8 ; Ga 8,33-41), mà còn phải biết đón nhận Đức Giê-su, nghĩa
là phải được vị Thẩm phán cánh chung nhận biết nữa (x. Lc
13,25-27). <b>+ <i>Chúng tôi đã từng được ăn uống trước mặt
Ngài, và Ngài cũng đã từng giảng dạy trên các đường phố của
chúng tôi :</i></b> “Chúng tôi” trong câu này ám chỉ những người
Do thái sống đồng thời với Đức Giê-su, đã được mắt thấy tai
nghe những lời giảng dạy và các phép lạ Người làm. Họ tưởng
rằng sự liên hệ ấy là bảo đảm cho họ được vào Nước Thiên
Chúa. Nhưng họ đã lầm. <b>+ “<i>Ta không biết các anh từ đâu
đến” :</i> </b>Lời tuyên bố được lặp lại hai lần nói lên sự
dứt khoát từ chối những kẻ cố chấp không tin Đức Giê-su và
không chịu ăn năn sám hối được vào Nước Thiên Chúa. <b>+ “<i>Cút
đi cho khuất mắt Ta, hỡi tất cả những quân làm điều bất chính
!” : </i></b>Hình phạt đau khổ nhất trong hỏa ngục là không được
chiêm ngưỡng thánh nhan Thiên Chúa, không được nhận Người là Cha
của mình.</span></p>

- <b>C 28-30: + <i>Ở đó anh em sẽ khóc lóc nghiến răng</i></b></span><b><i><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">

</span></b>
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Kiểu nói này diễn tả hình phạt hỏa ngục, dành cho những kẻ
làm điều gian ác. Trong hỏa ngục, chúng sẽ phải khóc lóc đau
khổ và nghiến răng tức giận. <b>+ <i>Khi thấy các ông Áp-ra-ham,
I-xa-ác và Gia-cóp cùng tất cả ngôn sứ được ở trong Nước Thiên
Chúa</i></b></span><b><i><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
:</span></i><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
</span></b>
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Những ai đi qua cửa hẹp nghĩa là sống công chính sẽ được về
với các Tổ phụ dân Do thái là Áp-ra-ham, I-sa-ác, Gia-cóp và
các Ngôn sứ, nghĩa là sẽ được hưởng ơn cứu độ. Giống như trường
hợp La-da-rô nghèo khổ khi chết được thiên thần đem vào lòng Tổ
phụ Áp-ra-ham (x. Lc 16,22). <b>+ <i>Còn mình lại bị đuổi ra bên
ngoài</i></b></span><b><i><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
:</span></i></b><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Những người Do thái cố chấp không chịu đón nhận Tin mừng Đức
Giê-su rao giảng sẽ bị loại ra ngoài và chịu hình phạt. <b>+ <i>
Những kẻ đứng chót sẽ lên hàng đầu, và có những kẻ đứng đầu
sẽ xuống hàng chót</i></b></span><b><i><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
:</span></i></b><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Người Do thái luôn được ưu tiên đón nhận ơn cứu độ (x. Cv 3,26).
Nhưng họ đã từ chối, nên Tin mừng đã được rao giảng cho dân
ngoại (x. Cv 13,46; 18,6). Như vậy là có sự thay đổi thứ tự
trước sau giữa dân Do thái và dân ngoại.</span></p>

<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
4. CÂU HỎI : 1) Đức Giê-su dạy phải đi con đường nào để được ơn
cứu độ ? 2) Hành động của ông chủ khóa cửa lại diễn tả điều
gì ? 3) Muốn được ơn cứu độ thì nguyên việc thuộc dòng giống
Do thái, và được sống đồng thời với Đức Giê-su đã đủ chưa ?
Đòi người ta phải có những điều kiện quan trọng nào khác ? 4)
Điểm nổi bật nhất giúp phân biệt giữa thiên đàng với hỏa ngục
là gì và những ai sẽ bị loại ra khỏi Nước Thiên Chúa ?</span></b></p>

II. SỐNG LỜI CHÚA</span></b></p>

1. LỜI CHÚA : “Hãy chiến đấu để qua được cửa hẹp mà vào” (Lc
13,24).</span></b></p>

2. CÂU CHUYỆN :</span></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 48px"><b>

1) CON ĐƯỜNG RỘNG RÃI SẼ DẪN ĐẾN ĐAU KHỔ BẤT HẠNH :</span></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 48px">
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Một đôi vợ chồng trẻ kia đều là công nhân trong xí nghiệp may.
Họ mới lấy nhau và sống hòa hợp hạnh phúc trong một căn phòng
chật hẹp. Họ bàn nhau phải kiếm nhiều tiền để mua một căn nhà
khang trang đầy đủ tiện nghi hơn. Nhưng với đồng lương công nhân
như hiện nay thì đủ sống được cũng còn là may. Rồi một hôm cô
vợ được một người quen giới thiệu chỗ làm mới là làm chiêu
đãi viên trong một quán bia ôm. Công việc này lại được tiền “bo”
của khách cao gấp chục lần so với đồng lương công nhân trước
đó. Anh chồng vì muốn sớm đổi đời nên đã đồng ý cho vợ đi
làm. Anh hy vọng sau một thời gian vài ba năm ăn nhịn để dành,
hai vợ chồng sẽ mua được ngôi nhà ưng ý và sẽ cho vợ nghỉ
làm. Nhưng sự việc xảy ra lại không đơn giản như họ nghĩ. Từ
khi đi bán bia ôm, cô vợ làm ra nhiều tiền và được nhiều người
vừa giàu có lại vừa có địa vị theo đuổi tán tỉnh, dần dần
cô đã thay đổi tính nết trở thành một con người khác hẳn. Cô
không còn mặn nồng với người chồng mà giờ đây cô đánh giá là
</span>
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">kẻ
</span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
bất tài, lười biếng và chỉ biết ăn bám vào vợ. Từ suy nghĩ
trên, cô thường tỏ </span>
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
thái độ </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
khinh thường chồng. Do nhiễm thói hư của các cô bạn cùng chỗ làm, cô
cũng hay gắt gỏng và la mắng chồng bằng những lời thô tục,
khiến anh cảm thấy buồn bực. Anh ta chỉ còn biết bầu bạn với
rượu bia để giải sầu. Cuộc sống chung của hai người không còn
nồng ấm và vui vẻ như trước. Cuối cùng họ đã nộp đơn ra tòa
xin ly hôn. Thật đúng như lời Chúa phán : “Con đường rộng rãi
là đường dẫn tới hư mất” (Mt 7,13), và người đời cũng có câu</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
:</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
“sự thành công không đến ngẫu nhiên, nhưng chính là kết quả của
những cố gắng liên tục kèm theo sự kiên trì dài lâu”.</span></p>

muông thú khác ?” Thế rồi nó đã vượt qua hai làn đường sắt gò bó, để
được tự do… Hậu quả của sự chọn lựa nầy </span>

chiếc tàu hỏa chịu đi trên hai làn đường ray chật hẹp, thì nó đã về đến

Thật ra cửa vào sự sống không hẹp bao nhiêu, nhưng trở nên hẹp
là do “cái tôi” quá khổ. Cần phải làm cho “cái tôi” ấy nhỏ lại
giống trẻ thơ mới vào </span>

để vượt qua “cái tôi” ích kỷ và chiến đấu </span>

Ước gì đừng bao giờ chúng ta tự hào vì đã biết Chúa, nhưng

khiêm hạ, để được Chúa biết và nói với chúng ta : “Khá lắm ! Hỡi
người đầy tớ tài giỏi và trung thành ! Được giao ít mà anh đã
trung thành, thì tôi sẽ giao nhiều cho anh. Hãy vào mà hưởng niềm vui
của chủ anh !” (Mt 25,21).<b> </b>Nhiều người Do thái đã đến chậm
khi cửa Nước Trời đã đóng lại. Họ gõ cửa </span>

xin </span>

vào. Họ tưởng mình chắc sẽ có chỗ </span>

bàn tiệc Nước Trời, nhưng họ đã bị từ chối </span>

: “Ta không biết các anh từ đâu đến. Cút đi cho khuất mắt Ta,

điều kiện Chúa đòi chúng ta không chỉ là làm các việc đạo đức hình thức,
nhưng là sống đức tin bằng việc thực thi đức Cậy và đức Mến như sau :

phải đi theo con đường hẹp, bỏ mình vác thập giá mình hằng ngày mà theo

quyết loại trừ các thói hư, chu toàn việc bổn phận và luôn xin vâng
thánh ý Thiên Chúa. </span></p>

thực hành các việc bác ái cụ thể như Chúa phán : “Xưa</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; color: #222222; background: white">
Ta đói, các ngươi đã cho ăn; Ta khát, các ngươi đã cho uống; Ta là khách
lạ, các ngươi đã tiếp rước; Ta trần truồng, các ngươi đã cho mặc; Ta đau
yếu, các ngươi đã thăm viếng; Ta ngồi tù, các ngươi đến hỏi han.</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
cho kẻ đói ăn, kẻ khát uống, quần áo che thân, thăm viếng an ủi những
người tù đày, phục vụ những người đau khổ… hay không ?” (Mt 25,35-36).

Qua cửa hẹp cũng chính là mời gọi chúng con thực thi lối sống tin yêu,
khiêm nhường phục vụ Chúa đang hiện thân nơi những người nghèo đói bất
hạnh. Ước gì mỗi ngày chúng con biết đi qua cửa hẹp để được vào dự bàn
tiệc Nước Trời với Chúa muôn đời</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">.</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">-
