Trong bài Tin Mừng hôm nay, Chúa Giêsu bảo "Ai xin thì sẽ được, ai tìm
thì gặp, ai gõ cửa thì sẽ được mở cho". Chúa nói thế để khuyến khích
chúng ta khi cần điều gì thì hãy cầu xin cùng Thiên Chúa một cách mạnh
dạn, tin tưởng và kiên trì. </span></p>

Trước hết chúng ta hãy xin Chúa tha thứ những tội lỗi của chúng ta, để

<u>Bài đọc I</u> (St 18,20-32)</span></p>

dân thành Sôđôma phạm tội quá nhiều, Thiên Chúa cho Abraham biết Ngài sẽ
cho lửa từ trời xuống thiêu huỷ thành này. Abraham đã mặc cả với Chúa
rằng nếu trong thành có một số người công chính thì xin Chúa tha cho cả
thành. Chúa đồng ý, và Abraham đã hạ dần con số những người công chính :
từ 50 xuống 45, rồi 40, 30, 20 và 10. Rất tiếc là Abraham đã dừng lại ở
đó, không dám xuống nữa.</span></p>

Câu chuyện cho ta thấy 2 điều quan trọng : a/ Lòng thương xót của Chúa

Chúa Giêsu dạy về cầu nguyện :</span></p>

Nội dung phải cầu nguyện : Kinh Lạy Cha : Thời Chúa Giêsu, mỗi nhóm tín
ngưỡng có một bài kinh riêng, đặc trưng của nhóm mình. Bài kinh mà Chúa
Giêsu sắp dạy cũng là đặc trưng của Kitô giáo. Nét đặc trưng rõ nhất
được thấy trong một từ chìa khoá lắp đi lặp lại rất nhiều lần, từ
"Cha" : kitô hữu được làm con Thiên Chúa và được gọi Thiên Chúa là Cha.</span></p>
<p class="MsoHeading7" style="text-indent: 36.0pt; margin-bottom: .0001pt">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">Vì
là một bài kinh rất ngắn gọn cho nên những điều được nói trong đó đều là
những điều then chốt nhất. Nói cách khác, những lời xin trong bài kinh
này cho ta biết những điều mà kitô hữu cần quan tâm nhất là gì : </span>
</p>

Đối với Chúa : sao cho người ta được biết Chúa ("Xin làm cho danh Cha
vinh hiển") ; sao cho nhiều người gia nhập Nước Chúa ("triều đại Cha mau
đến")</span></p>

Đối với chính bản thân mình : có lương thực hằng ngày, được Cha tha thứ
và mình cũng biết tha thứ cho người khác, đừng sa chước cám dỗ.</span></p>

Thái độ khi cầu nguyện : Phải kiên trì </span></p>

<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">Để
minh họa cho thái độ kiên trì, Chúa Giêsu đưa dụ ngôn về "người bạn quấy
rầy"</span></p>

<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">-
"Quấy rầy" vì đến gõ cửa ban đêm để vay bánh : việc này khiến chủ nhà bị
mất ngủ. Và nếu chủ nhà thức dậy thắp đèn lên, rồi lấy bánh, rồi mở cửa,
rồi nói chuyện... thì sẽ làm cho vợ con của ông cũng mất ngủ luôn. Bởi
thế, chủ nhà đã nói vọng ra lời từ chối. Nhưng người bên ngoài cứ vừa gõ
cửa vừa kêu mãi.</span></p>
<p class="MsoHeading7" style="text-indent: 36.0pt; margin-bottom: .0001pt">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">-
Nhưng người đứng bên ngoài ấy lại là một "người bạn". Bạn bè thì phải
thương yêu nhau và tương thân tương trợ nhau, nhất là trong những khi
gặp khó như trường hợp này.</span></p>
<p class="MsoHeading7" style="text-indent: 36.0pt; margin-bottom: .0001pt">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Việc chủ nhà cuối cùng đã cho anh bạn vay bánh có thể vì một trong hai
lý do : cho để khỏi bị quấy rầy nữa ; cho vì tình bạn. Theo cách diễn tả
của dụ ngôn thì người đó đã làm vì lý do thứ nhất. Nếu làm vì lý do thứ
hai thì việc cho sẽ có ý nghĩa hơn. Nhưng dù sao thì cuối cùng anh bạn
đứng ngoài đã đạt được điều mình xin, và lý do là nhờ anh kiên trì.</span></p>
<p class="MsoHeading7" style="text-indent: 36.0pt; margin-bottom: .0001pt">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Sau khi kể dụ ngôn, Chúa Giêsu lý luận theo kiểu a fortiori (huống
chi) : người đời dù quen hành động theo lý do ích kỷ (để khỏi bị quấy
rầy) thế mà cũng phải chịu thua sự kiên trì của người xin. Huống chi
Thiên Chúa vốn tốt lành quen đối xử với chúng ta theo tình thương. Bởi
thế nếu ai kiên trì cầu xin với Chúa thì chắc chắn sẽ được nhậm lời.</span></p>

GỢI Ý GIẢNG</span></span></h5>

1. <u>Lời cầu xin của Abraham</u></span></p>
<p class="MsoHeading7" style="text-indent: 36.0pt; margin-bottom: .0001pt">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Lời cầu xin của Abraham có nhiều điểm hay đáng chúng ta bắt chước :</span></p>
<p class="MsoHeading7" style="text-indent: 36.0pt; margin-bottom: .0001pt">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">-
Ông không cầu xin cho bản thân mình, mà cho người khác, những người
không phải là bà con hay bạn bè thân thích gì của ông cả.</span></p>
<p class="MsoHeading7" style="text-indent: 36.0pt; margin-bottom: .0001pt">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">-
Ông không cầu xin cho những người đạo đức công chính, mà xin cho những
người tội lỗi.</span></p>

<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">-
Ông đã nại vào lòng thương xót của Chúa và vào "uy tín" của một số người
công chính.</span></p>

<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Nhưng có một điểm mà Abraham chưa làm gương cho chúng ta được. Đó là xem
ra ông chưa tin tưởng hoàn toàn vào Chúa cho nên đã dừng lại ở con số 10
người công chính chứ không dám tiến xa hơn vào lòng thương xót vô biên
của Chúa.</span></p>

2. <u>Xin, tìm và gõ</u></span></p>
<p class="MsoHeading7" style="text-indent: 36.0pt; margin-bottom: .0001pt">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Chúa Giêsu khuyến khích chúng ta hãy xin, hãy tìm và hãy gõ cửa. Nghĩa
là đức tin của chúng ta phải là một hành động tích cực chứ không phải là
một thái độ thụ động chỉ biết đợi chờ.</span></p>
<p class="MsoHeading7" style="text-indent: 36.0pt; margin-bottom: .0001pt">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Tuy nhiên lắm khi vì tự phụ mà chúng ta không xin, nên chúng ta không
nhận được ; lắm khi vì chúng ta lười biếng mà không tìm, nên chúng ta
không gặp ; lắm khi vì chúng ta nhút nhát mà không gõ cửa nên không được
mở cho.</span></p>
<p class="MsoHeading7" style="text-indent: 36.0pt; margin-bottom: .0001pt">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Đừng thụ động ngồi chờ ơn Chúa như những quả sung từ trời rụng xuống.
Hãy khiêm tốn, siêng năng và bạo dạn mà xin, mà tìm và gõ cửa. Nếu điều
đó tốt cho chúng ta thì chắc chắn Thiên Chúa là Cha nhân hậu sẽ ban cho
chúng ta.</span></p>

3. <u>Tại sao phải cầu xin cách kiên trì</u> ?</span></p>
<p class="MsoHeading7" style="text-indent: 36.0pt; margin-bottom: .0001pt">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Phải kiên trì khi cầu xin là để tăng thêm ước muốn của chúng ta, và cũng
là để tăng thêm giá trị ơn Người sẽ ban. Nếu chúng ta không nhận được
điều mình xin, thì không phải là Chúa không sẵn sàng ban ơn, nhưng có
thể điều cầu xin ấy không mang lại ích lợi cho linh hồn chúøng ta, hoặc
Người muốn dành cho chúng ta một ơn lớn lao hơn. Cho dù sự đáp trả của
Chúa không như lòng chúng ta mong ước hay không đúng lúc chúng ta mong
đợi, thì đó cũng là bởi sự khôn ngoan và lòng yêu thương của một người
Cha đầy tình nhân ái.</span></p>

4. <u>Và chúa nói không</u></span></p>

Tôi xin Người lấy niềm kiêu hãnh của tôi đi. Và Người nói "không". Người
nói việc lấy đi không phải do Người mà là tôi phải từ bỏ nó.</span></p>

<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">-
Tôi xin Người làm cho đứa bé tật nguyền của tôi được lành lặn. Và Người
nói không. Người nói tinh thần của tôi mới là tất cả, còn thể xác chỉ là
nhất thời thôi.</span></p>

Tôi xin Người ban cho tôi sự kiên nhẫn. Và Người nói không. Người nói
kiên nhẫn là một phó sản của nỗi gian nan khổ cực, không ban được mà
phải tự kếm lấy.</span></p>

Tôi xin Người vứt bỏ nỗi đớn đau. Và Người nói không. Người nói khổ đau
sẽ đưa con ra khỏi những lo toan trần thế và đưa con lại gần Ta hơn.</span></p>

5. <u>Xin điều này được điều khác</u></span></p>

Tôi xin Chúa cho tôi sức khoẻ để tôi có thể làm được những việc lớn lao
- Ngài lại ban cho tôi sự yếu đuối để tôi làm mọi việc cách tốt hơn.</span></p>

Tôi xin Chúa cho tôi giàu sang để tôi có thể sống hạnh phúc hơn - Ngài
lại ban cho tôi sự nghèo nàn để tôi sống khôn ngoan hơn.</span></p>

Tôi xin Chúa ban cho tôi quyền lực để được người đời xưng tụng - Ngài

Tuy tôi chẳng được tất cả những điều tôi xin, nhưng lại nhận được mọi
