ngày 5.8.1912 tại thành phố Lyon, Pháp) là người sáng lập nên cộng đoàn
Emmau lo giúp người nghèo, người vô gia cư theo chương trình tự lực cánh
sinh, có kể câu chuyện về một người trở nên cộng sự viên đắc lực của cha như

lang thang không nơi nương náu. Người đàn ông này thất vọng đến độ lấy dao
cắt mạch máu ra! Có người phát hiện ra sự việc chẳng lành đó, liền gọi điện
thoại cho cha Phêrô. Cha lập tức tới hiện trường. Nhìn người đàn ông cánh
tay máu me chảy đầm đìa, cha Phêrô đã không lên tiếng an ủi mà còn ra lệnh
cho anh: "Anh đừng tự vẫn! Có quá nhiều người kém may mắn đang cần tôi giúp
đỡ. Tôi cũng đang bệnh và tôi cần anh giúp một tay!"</em></span></p>

anh liền khiến cặp mắt lờ đờ của anh bỗng sáng lên! Anh để cho người ta băng
bó vết thương. Rồi từ đó anh trở nên một trong những cộng sự viên đắc lực
nhất của cha Phêrô.</em></span></p>

hình ảnh của chính Đức Kitô. Còn hình ảnh của người đàn ông lấy dao cắt mạch
máu mình ra chỉ vì thất vọng, là hình ảnh của thế giới hôm nay mà Đức Giêsu
đến để cứu thoát. Người muốn cứu thế giới loài người bằng cách huy động nơi
con người, nguồn ơn chính Người ban cho họ. Họ không những cần cứu lấy bản
thân mà còn phải nỗ lực cứu giúp nhiều người theo chương trình cứu nhân độ
thế chính Đức Giêsu đứng ra thực hiện.</span></p>

<span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px">Toàn bộ sách Tin Mừng của Luca là để
cho thấy Đức Kitô thực hiện chương trình đó như thế nào. Ngay tại hội đưòng
Nadarét, Người đã trích dẫn sách ngôn sứ I-sa-i-a cho thấy Người được sai
đến với thế giới là để "Công bố một năm hồng ân của Chúa và băng bó những
tấm lòng tan nát" (Is 61,1-2; Lc 4,18). Rồi khi Người đã qui tụ được một số
môn đệ và chọn trong số họ mười hai Tông Đồ, tượng trưng mười hai chi tộc
của Dân Mới của Thiên Chúa, thì Người giảng bài giảng quan trọng về các mối
phúc thật. Đó là lúc Người xuống núi cùng với các môn đệ trong đó có mười
hai người mới được chọn làm Tông Đồ. Người dừng lại ở một chỗ đất bằng và
đoàn lũ dân chúng từ khắp nơi tuốn đến, kể cả vùng duyên hải Tia và Xiđon
ngoại đạo. Thế mà Luca cho thấy Đức Giêsu ngước mắt lên "nhìn các môn đệ và
nói với họ" (Lc 6,20) về các mối phúc! Điều đó cho thấy điều kiện tiên quyết
để được hạnh phúc thật là phải sống gắn bó với bản thân Đức Kitô trong tư
cách là môn đệ của Người. Ai đã được gọi làm môn đệ thì phải duy trì và tăng
triển trong ơn đó. Những người hãy còn "chân ướt chân ráo" lần đầu tiên tiếp
cận với lời rao giảng của Đức Kitô, họ cũng cần phải có thái độ sẵn sàng
bước theo Người, thì mới lãnh hội được điều Ngưòi giảng dạy.</span></p>

vấn đề là: nếu mọi người đều phải đấm ngực ăn năn về những lỗi lầm của mình,
tức là còn có "rác cả đống" nơi con mắt mình, thì có được lo chuyện sửa chữa
anh em mình qua việc rao giảng, huấn dụ và khuyên bảo họ chăng? Chưa sửa
chữa mình xong mà cứ còn tiếp tục làm những chuyện đó thì có sợ mình trở nên
"người đạo đức giả hình" theo bài Tin Mừng hôm nay chăng? Vấn đề vừa nêu
càng trở nên gay cấn đối với thế hệ trẻ ngày nay là thế hệ đòi mọi người
phải sống thực với mình. Cần phải thống nhất lại đời sống. Bên trong ăn khít
với bên ngoài. Đó là những điều kiện phải có để người ta tin.</span></p>

các thánh tông đồ, như thánh Phaolô rất ý thức về sự bất toàn của mình

ra, người lo thừa tác vụ rao giảng chẳng bao giờ được quyền tự đắc cách
chung hay cách riêng về đề tài mình trình bày. Ngược lại, phải nói rằng

không lo sửa mình thì sớm muộn sẽ bị anh em chỉnh. Chính thánh Phêrô đã bị

thánh nêu gương cho chúng ta về việc rao giảng chống lại những tật xấu mà
chính các ngài phải đối phó. Thánh Phanxicô Salêsiô trước nóng như lửa sau
trở nên con người hết sức dịu hiền. Thánh Inhaxiô Lôi-ô-la mở ra cả một lối
sống khiêm nhường theo bề sâu trong Linh Thao khi chính ngài phải đối phó
với tính kiêu căng cả thể. Riêng thánh Âu-tinh đã giảng về khiết tịnh sau
khi chính ngài đã từ bỏ con đường đam mê xác thịt.</span></p>

người ấy "Anh đừng tự vẫn! Có quá nhiều người kém may mắn đang cần tôi giúp
đỡ. Tôi cũng đang bệnh và tôi cần anh giúp một tay", lời đó bật lên như một
tia sáng ở cuối đường hâm. Lời cha Phêrô thực là trong suốt cho thấy giá trị
sự sống của một con người đang sa xuống vực thẳm. Anh cần bước ra khỏi đó vì
có nhiều người cần đến anh. Cha Phêrô thực đã thực thi lời Chúa vì biết
tránh tình trạng người mù dắt người mù thì cả hai đều sa xuống hố (c.39);
ngược lại người sáng mắt là kẻ có khả năng kéo người mù bước ra khỏi vực
thẳm.</span></p>

<span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px">Cha Phêrô là con người thao thức,
luôn cố công theo sát gót bước thầy chí thánh là Chúa Giêsu. Chào đời vào
ngày 5.8.1912 tại thành phố Lyon nước Pháp trong một gia đình có 8 người
con, mà cha Phêrô là người con thứ 5. Ở tuổi 19, cậu Phêrô đã gia nhập dòng
Anh Em Hèn Mọn Ca-pu-xi-nô của thánh Phanxicô Á-xi-di và đã chịu chức linh
mục ở tuổi 26. Nhưng vì sức khỏe không cho phép, nên cha đã sống đời linh
mục triều. Cha luôn đứng về phía người nghèo và người bị áp bức. Tại nhà thờ
chánh toà thành phố Gơ-nốp (Grenoble) cha đã từng bao che cho người Do Thái
bị lính Quốc Xã của Hít-le bắt bớ. Năm 1949 cha thiết lập nên cộng đoàn
E-mau để giúp những người nghèo và người vô gia cư tự lực cánh sinh. Cha là
người có thể hiểu thấu lời Chúa dạy hôm nay là "Học trò không hơn thày, có
học hết chữ cũng chỉ bằng thày mà thôi" (c.40).</span></p>

đường hủy diệt mạng sống mình, cha Phêrô đã tế nhị xin người đó giúp đỡ mình
làm việc thiện để giúp đỡ những người khác không được may mắn trong cuộc
sống. Làm như vậy là cha đã thực thi lời Chúa dạy ở cc.41-42. Quả thật, cha
đã khéo léo khơi dậy lòng thương người nơi đương sự thay vì lên án đương sự.
Vì chính cha luôn nuôi dưỡng lòng thương người nên miệng mới dễ dàng nói lên
được điều tốt lành có sức cứu sống một người đang tìm cách tự hủy mình
(c.45).</span></p>

vì chỉ đánh giá con người trên luật lệ bề ngoài nhưng lại thiếu lòng nhân
ái. Họ mù đối với chính cuộc sống của họ vì họ chỉ chú trọng đến cái bên
ngoài mà bỏ quên tâm hồn mình: "Các ngươi như mồ mả,bên ngoài thì sơn phết

Giê-su nhắm đến những kinh sư và Biệt phái, những kẻ tự cho mình là công
chính vì đã giữ đúng luật lệ bề ngoài . Trước người đàn bà bị bắt quả tang
phạm tội ngoại tình, Chuá Giêsu đã lột mặt nạ họ bằng một câu ngắn gọn: "Ai
thấy mình không có tội thì ném đá chị ấy trước đi !" Khi nhìn rõ chính mình,
họ liền rút lui có trật tự .</span></p>

phái và kinh sư rình mò và giăng bẩy để bắt bẻ và lên án: Chúa có vi phạm
luật sabbat không, có nói lời phạm thượng không... Và trước các phép lạ hiển
nhiên không chối cãi được, họ tìm cách cắt nghĩa sai với ác ý và cố chấp:
ông ấy lấy quyền qủi cả mà trừ quỉ. Thái độ hay bắt bẻ , dò xét và sẵn sàng
lên án của Biệt phái và Kinh sư hoàn toàn đi ngược với thái độ khoan dung
của Chúa Giêsu . Và cuối cùng họ như đã thắng vì họ đã lên án tử được cho
Chúa.</span></p>

tôi thấy lời Chúa như một luồng ánh sáng chiếu dọi vào cuộc sống của tôi,
cũng như vào xã hội mà tôi đang sống. Và tôi không được an tâm lắm . Bởi lẽ
nhiều khi vô tình hay hữu ý, tôi cũng sống thiếu lòng nhân ái, cũng có những
thái độ hay lời lẽ chỉ trích phê bình hoặc lên án kẻ khác một cách dễ dàng.
Những xích mích giữa người với người, trong gia đình, trong cộng đoàn, trong
xóm giềng hầu hết là do thái độ tiêu cực trên đây mà ra. Và có lẽ tôi phải
luôn lặp lại cho chính mình lời dạy của Chúa: "Hãy học cùng Ta vì Ta hiền
lành và khiêm nhường trong lòng".</span></p>

mấy khi nghe nói tốt mà phần nhiều chỉ nghe nói xấu: "Lòng có đầy ứ thì
