Bài Tin Mừng hôm nay là một trong những đoạn Tin Mừng đẹp nhất hay nhất
trong toàn bộ Tin Mừng. Mỗi câu mỗi đoạn trong bài Tin Mừng hôm nay đều
có thể trở thành đề tài suy niệm cho chúng ta. Thế nhưng vì thời giờ
không cho phép cho nên tôi chỉ xin được đề cập đến một vài nội dung
chính.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm"><b><i>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
1. Nội dung thứ nhất:</span></i></b><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Chúa muốn nói với chúng ta về những <b><i>sắc thái mới mẻ của luật yêu
thương.</i></b></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
a- Như anh chị em đã thấy cuộc sống của con người trên trần gian này bị
nhiều thứ luật lệ chi phối. Trong số những lề luật đó có một thứ rất
quen thuộc và hầu như nó chi phối thường xuyên cuộc sống hằng ngày của
chúng ta. Đó là luật Công bằng. Ngôn ngữ thông thường của chúng ta
thường nói là luật có đi có lại - luật vay trả. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
- Cựu ước đã diễn tả luật này thành một công thức tương đối cũng rất dễ
hiểu. Đó là luật:</span><b><i><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">"Răng
thế răng, mắt đền mắt"</span></i></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
- Đây là luật có tính cách </span><b><i>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
sòng phẳng</span></i></b><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">.
Tôi yêu thương những người yêu thương tôi và tôi được quyền ghét những
ai là kẻ thù của tôi. Tôi cầu nguyện cho những ai làm ơn cho tôi và đối
với những kẻ không làm gì cho tôi thì tôi cũng chẳng có bổn phận gì đối
với họ. Hoàn toàn công bằng. Hoàn toàn hợp lý. Không ai có quyền phê
phán nếu tôi làm như thế.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Sống như thế theo cách nhìn của trần thế kể như là cũng đã tốt lắm rồi.
Thế nhưng đối với Chúa thì </span><b><i>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
chưa đủ</span></i></b><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">.
Sống như thế theo như Chúa Giêsu nói:</span><b><i><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
"người tội lỗi, những người thu thuế và cả những người dân ngoại cũng
làm được."</span></i></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
b- Chính vì thế mà hôm nay Chúa </span><b><i>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
đề nghị</span></i></b><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
chúng ta phải vươn lên tới một cuộc sống được chi phối bởi một thứ luật
cao hơn. Đó là luật <b>Bác ái.</b> Chúa diễn ta luật ấy bằng những lời
lẽ rất cụ thể như thế này: </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm"><b><i>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
" Hãy yêu thương kẻ thù.</span></i></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm"><b><i>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Hãy làm ơn cho những kẻ ghét anh em</span></i></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm"><b><i>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Hãy chúc lành cho những kẻ nguyền rủa anh em.</span></i></b></p>

Hãy cầu nguyện cho những kẻ vu khống cho anh em</span></i></b></p>

- Như thế chúng ta thấy rõ ràng Chúa đã muốn những ai muốn theo Chúa
phải vượt ra khỏi cái </span><b><i>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
lẽ thường tình</span></i></b><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
của cuộc đời làm người . Những đòi hỏi của Chúa không còn nằm trên bình
diện "có đi có lại nữa". Nó đã tiến xa hơn, xa tới mức "có đi mà không
có lại:</span></p>

<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
" Ai xin thì hãy cho</span></i></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm"><b><i>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Ai vả má bên này thì hãy giơ cả má bên kia nữa</span></i></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm"><b><i>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Ai đoạt áo ngoài của anh em thì đừng cản nó lấy cả áo trong"</span></i></b></p>

<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Thật không còn gì để có thể nghi ngờ. Rõ ràng là Chúa đòi hỏi những
người theo Chúa phải sống một cuộc sống được chỉ đạo bằng một luật</span><b><i><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
cao hơn</span></i></b><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
luật Công bằng. Phải vươn lên đến luật bác ái yêu thương, yêu thương
dường như không có bờ không có bến.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Và theo Chúa có sống một cuộc sống như thế thì mới xứng đáng là con Đấng
Tối cao.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Đó là nội dung thứ nhất.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm"><b><i>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
2. Nội dung thứ hai:</span></i></b><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Chúa chỉ cho cho những người làm con của Chúa </span><b><i>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
cách thức thực hành</span></i></b><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
sống để sống cuộc sống như Chúa mong muốn đó..</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
a- Qua những chỉ dẫn này chúng ta thấy Chúa là một người </span><b><i>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
rất thực tế</span></i></b><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">.
Chúa không đòi hỏi những gì quá sức của con người. Chúa cũng không đòi
hỏi những gì quá cao siêu, quá khó hiểu. Nguyên tắc Chúa đưa ra ở đây ai
nghe cũng có thể hiểu.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Chỉ có một điều hơi lạ là ở trên thì chúng ta thấy Chúa đòi hỏi một mức
độ thật cao nhưng khi đưa nguyên tắc áp dụng thì Chúa lại tỏ ra rất
</span><b><i>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
thông cảm </span></i></b>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
với con người. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Đây là nguyên tắc của Chúa :</span><b><i><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">"Điều
gì anh em muốn người ta làm cho mình thì cũng hãy làm cho người ta như
vậy" </span></i></b>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Chỉ dẩn này rõ ràng là còn nằm trên bình diện công bằng. Thế nhưng thực
hành được như Chúa nói cũng không phải là một điều dễ.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
b- Tôi tự hỏi: Tôi muốn người ta làm gì cho tôi.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
- Điều tôi không bao giờ muốn là người ta xử tệ với tôi, người ta lừa
đảo tôi, người ta nói xấu tôi, người ta thù oán tôi, người ta xỉ nhục
tôi vv và vv.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
- Và điều mà tôi luôn muốn là tôi được sống an bình, tôi được tôn trọng,
tôi được kính nể, tôi được yêu thương, tôi được tha thứ…</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
c- Vâng kính thưa anh chị em tất cả những điều ấy tôi tưởng có lẽ không
có gì là khó hiểu. Rất dễ hiểu là đàng khác. Thế nhưng làm được như thế
có phải là dễ không?.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Tôi nhớ lại một câu truyện nhỏ trong cuộc đời của thánh Gioan Don Bosco.
Một hôm Ngài đang đi trên đường thì bị một nhóm trẻ "bụi đời" làm hàng
rào cản lối không cho Ngài đi qua. Ngài thản nhiên dừng lại và bằng một
cử chỉ </span><b><i>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
rất lịch thiệp</span></i></b><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Ngài bỏ mũ xuống và nói:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm"><b><i>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
"Xin các bạn cho phép tôi đi qua"</span></i></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Nhóm trẻ ngỗ nghịch ấy lập tức im lặng. Chúng ngạc nhiên về cung cách
lịch thiệp của Ngài và sau đó chỉ còn biết trả lời:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm"><b><i>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
" Thưa Cha, xin cha cứ việc đi"</span></i></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Pascal có nói một câu rất hay:</span><b><i><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">"Biết
làm khơi dậy sự kính trọng lẫn nhau đó là kết quả lớn lao của lòng yêu
mến"</span></i></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Đó là nội dung thứ hai.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm"><b><i>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
3. Nội dung thứ ba:</span></i></b><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Mẫu mực và phần thưởng cho những ai dám sống đời sống yêu thương như
Chúa mời gọi.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
a- Mẫu mực. Đó chính là Thiên Chúa. Và phần thưởng sẽ rất lớn lao.
</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Chính Thiên Chúa là mẫu mực. Thánh Gioan gọi đã gọi tên Người là Tình
yêu. Anh chị em thấy mấy dòng chữ mà chúng tôi gắn trên tấm bảng và treo
ở dưới cuối nhà thờ: "Thiên Chúa là Tình yêu". Có lẽ không có tên gọi
nào để gọi Thiên Chúa đẹp đến như thế. Thiên Chúa là Tình yêu. </span>
</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Ở cuối bài Tin Mừng hôm nay, chỉ bằng một câu nói thật vắn gọn Chúa
Giêsu cho chúng ta thấy Thiên Chúa thực hiện lòng yêu thương như thế
nào: </span><b><i>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
"Người nhân hậu với cả phường vô ân và quân độc ác".</span></i></b><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Bằng dụ ngôn người con phung phá và người cha nhân hậu Chúa Giêsu cũng
đã cho chúng ta thấy lòng nhân hậu của Chúa. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Ở một chỗ khác Chúa Giêsu còn cắt nghĩa thêm: Người làm mưa xuống cho cả
kẻ lành và kẻ bất luơng.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Và Ngài cũng không quên căn dặn mọi người: "Anh em hãy có lòng nhân từ
như Cha anh em là Đấng nhân từ" - Anh em đừng xét đoán - Anh em đừng lên
án - Anh em hãy tha thứ - Anh em hãy cho thì sẽ được Thiên Chúa cho lại
- Người sẽ đong cho anh em đấu đủ lượng đã dằn, đã lắc và đầy tràn và đổ
vào vạt áo anh em. Vì anh em đong bằng đấu nào thì Thiên Chúa sẽ đong
lại cho anh em bằng đấu đó" (Lc 6,36-38).</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Thật không còn gì có thể hồ nghi về ý muốn của Chúa. </span><b><i>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Chúa muốn chúng ta nên giống Người</span></i></b><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">.
</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Dan Clark đã thuật lại một câu truyện rất cảm động như sau: Buổi tối hôm
đó trời rất lạnh. Một em bé khoảng 6-7 tuổi đang đứng tần ngần trước một
cửa hàng. Đứa bé rất nghèo. Nó không có giầy. Quần áo của nó chỉ là
những miếng giẻ rách được khâu lại. Bỗng có một thiếu phụ đi qua. Trông
thấy cậu bé, người thiếu phụ dừng lại. Bà dư sức hiểu được cậu bé đang
thèm khát những gì qua cặp mắt xanh u uẩn của nó. Bà cầm tay cậu bé, dắt
cậu vào trong tiệm. Bà mua cho cậu một đôi giầy mới và một bộ quần áo
ấm.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Sau đó cả hai lại trở ra phố. Bà nhìn cậu bé một lần nữa và nói:</span></p>

<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
- Bây giờ cháu có thể về nhà và hưởng một ngày thật vui vẻ nhé.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Cậu bé ngạc nhiên đưa cặp mắt ngước nhìn lên người thiếu phụ và hỏi:</span></p>

<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
- Thưa bà, bà có phải là Chúa không?</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Bà cúi xuống mỉm cuời với cậu và trả lời:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
- Con ơi! Không phải đâu. Bà chỉ là một trong những đứa con của Ngài
thôi.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Lúc đó cậu bé nói:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1.0cm">

lành" cho người thanh niên đến hỏi Chúa về mối tương quan anh em giữa
người với người, Chúa Giêsu đã nói gì với anh ta. Chúa bảo anh ta:
