cho các môn đệ; giờ đây, lời Ngài nói, rõ rệt nhằm cho mọi thính giả của
Ngài. Cái nhìn của Ngài nhắm vào tương lai, đến chỗ kết thúc nước Thiên
Chúa. Nhưng Thiên Chúa đây, Đấng đã tỏ hiện ra nơi Ngài, cũng phải xuất hiện
qua những kẻ thuộc về Ngài nữa: bước đầu nhắm vào bề trong và ẩn dật, tuy
nhiên, lại là một thực tại sống động.</span></p>

<span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px">Điều Chúa đòi hỏi tiên vàn không
phải là cầu nguyện và hành động, nhưng là phải có những tâm tình mới. Ngài
muốn có sự canh tân tâm hồn, sự cải cách bên trong con người. Tinh thần đây
là lòng yêu mến, lòng yêu mến mà mức độ trải rộng ra hết sức của nó: Hãy yêu
thương kẻ thù. Lòng yêu mến phải bao bọc mọi người, không loại trừ ai kể cả
những kẻ thù địch dữ tợn nhất. Theo nguyên tắc, lòng yêu thương này vô giới
hạn; ánh sáng của nó sẽ chiếu giãi trong khắp các xó xỉnh, và sức nóng của
nó sẽ đốt nóng mọi sự.</span></p>

chỉ là những tâm tình chân thực khi phát xuất ra các việc làm. Hãy làm ơn
cho những kẻ ghen ghét các anh chị.</span></p>

lành (vì nó sinh ra từ Thiên Chúa là Tình Yêu). Việc làm và ảnh hưởng của
Tình yêu sẽ tất nhiên là tốt lành. Hãy làm lành! Ta không được quyền lấy
ghen ghét đáp trả ghét ghen, không được ăn miếng trả miếng, nhưng là phải
lấy tình thương che phủ mọi sự, bởi vì sự thiện phải mạnh hơn sự ác.</span></p>

khi ta ao ước điều tốt lành cho chính kẻ thù ghét ta. Hãy chúc lành cho
những kẻ nguyền rủa các anh chị. Ta phải cầu Chúa chúc lành cho những kẻ
ghen ghét và nguyền rủa, để sự ác bị đánh quỵ ở mọi nơi. Lòng yêu thương
chân thật sẽ không gò ép số phận trong sự cứng nhắc, nhưng đặt tất cả trong
lòng bàn tay nhân từ của Thiên Chúa.</span></p>

<span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px">Hãy cầu xin cho những ai vu khống
các anh chị. Im lặng không có nghĩa là tránh né, một sự im lặng giận dữ hoặc
một sự từ khước là do sự bực tức hay mệt nhọc. Trái lại phải kiên trì mang
lấy gánh nặng của mình, đặt vào tay Thiên Chúa mọi cái đè nén tâm hồn. Thái
độ này làm cho tâm hồn con người được thư thái và khiến con người đối diện
với những kẻ ghét mình, nguyền rủa hay vu khống mình mà không chút sợ sệt.</span></p>

là sức mạnh mới và thần trí mới có khả năng vượt tất cả mọi sự. Mệnh lệnh
chặt chẽ của luật pháp khi ấy hoá thành mềm dẻo, tương quan giữa các hữu thể
nằm trên một bình diện hoàn toàn mới mẻ. Cộng đồng nhân loại từ đây vâng
phục một luật lệ khác: đó là tinh thần mới Chúa Kitô đòi buộc.</span></p>

đã biến vào nơi Thiên Chúa. Con người không còn hành động theo quan điểm của
riêng mình, nhưng bao quát mọi biến cố bởi vì việc họ kết hợp với Thiên Chúa
làm cho họ vượt quá chính mình. Do đó, bao giờ câu trả lời của Chúa cũng làm
cho ta ngạc nhiên vì nó bất ngờ. Lúc nào họ cũng sẵn sàng, tươi vui, chấp
nhận điều xấu và thực thi điều thiện. Người đó sống trên bình diện hoàn toàn
khác hẳn.</span></p>

Chúa mà họ hành động và suy tưởng trong những phạm vi khác nhau của sinh

<span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px">Lòng yêu mến loại trừ mọi thứ vụ lợi
riêng tư. Nếu anh chị yêu mến những kẻ mến thương anh chị, thì còn ân nghĩa
gì? Những kẻ tội lỗi cũng yêu mến những kẻ yêu thương họ. Một quy luật đồng
nhất đó được dùng cho những ai làm điều thiện, cho vay mượn tiền bạc… Người
cho đi chỉ để mong được lại là kẻ tìm kiếm chính mình. Con người mới phải có
sự sung mãn nội tâm dồi dào, cho đi không tính toán, không đợi chờ phần
thưởng. Mọi tính toán đều đi ngược vơí bản chất thâm sâu nhất của đức bác
ái.</span></p>

tự như thế chỉ có thể có nơi Thiên Chúa, được Ngài gợi ý và hướng về Ngài.
Anh chị sẽ là con cái của Đấng Tối cao, vì chính Người nhân lành với những
kẻ vô ơn cũng như ác độc.</span></p>

<span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px">Bí nhiệm thâm sâu nhất của nước
Thiên Chúa là lòng yêu mến của Thiên Chúa. Con người chỉ là con kênh để
Thiên Chúa đổ tràn nước của Ngài xuống. Ngài là động lực, là lý do hiện hữu.
Con người đón nhận nơi Ngài tất cả để rồi thông chuyển tất cả. Lòng yêu
thương của họ không chút sợ sệt, giống như ngọn lửa leo lét trong chiếc lò
dương thế: ngọn lửa của Thiên Chúa không ngừng thắp lên và sẽ chẳng bao giờ
bị tiêu hao.</span></p>

<span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px">Người nào từ Thiên Chúa sinh ra thì
có sự sống của Thiên Chúa nơi mình và qua đó có sự sung mãn và phong phú,
tất cả những thứ đó chỉ có thể từ Thiên Chúa mà đến. Họ không cần phải so đo
hơn thiệt, tính toán cẩn thận, bủn xỉn chi li hay lo lắng cho tương lai. Họ
có thể ban phát vơí bàn tay đầy ắp, vẻ mặt tươi vui, không lo lắng đến đáp
trả hay kết quả. Họ phân phát nhân danh Chúa, nhờ Chúa và với Chúa; còn hiệu
quả về phía nhân loại là một điều hoàn toàn tuỳ thuộc.</span></p>

của Thiên Chúa trong nước Ngài, mới có được tinh thần mới này và mới có thể
tìm kiếm và phát triển tinh thần ấy trong bản thân mình theo những yêu cầu
của Chúa. Trong trường hợp này, họ đã được thưởng nếm Thiên đàng ở ngay trần
gian, và xem như nước Thiên Chúa thực sự đã cất cánh bay.</span></p>

người thực sự của Thiên Chúa, tượng trưng cho sự chiếu giãi vinh quang sẽ
đến và làm cho người ta tiên cảm được những gì sẽ xảy ra trong ngày Chúa trở
lại.</span></p>
