vụ Chúa nhật hôm nay nhấn mạnh đến một giới răn quan trọng nhất trong

có trong Cựu ước, nhưng một lần nữa, trước khi đi vào cuộc tử nạn, Đức

Gioan Tông đồ khẳng định:”<i>Thiên Chúa là Tình yêu</i>”(<i>1Ga 4,7</i>).
Ngài yêu thương chúng ta trước nên đã dựng nên ta, nhất là ban Con Một
của Ngài cho thế gian để mọi người được cứu chuộc. Đáp lại, chúng ta
cũng phải yêu mến Ngài và yêu thương nhau.</font><u1:p></u1:p></p>

thế nào mà biết được tình yêu của chúng ta đối với Thiên Chúa là chân
thật ? Qua các bài đọc của Thánh lễ hôm nay, chúng ta có thể khẳng định
mà không sợ sai lầm : đó là chúng ta trung thành giữ các giới răn của
Chúa và yêu thương nhau bằng những việc làm cụ thể, chứ không chỉ yêu

Giáo hội sơ khai, có một vấn đề gai góc cần phải được giải quyết : đó là
có thể chấp nhận cho những lương dân chịu phép rửa mà không đòi buộc họ
giữ các Lề luật Do thái không ? Nhiều người không chấp nhận. Nhưng thánh
Phêrô được Chúa Thánh Thần soi sáng đã tuyên bố :”<i>Thiên Chúa yêu
thương mọi người không thiên vị ai, tất cả mọi người được chấp nhận tham
dự vào nguồn mạch sự sống của Thiên Chúa</i>”. Vì thế, ngài đã rửa tội
cho viên sĩ quan Rôma tên là Cornêliô và nhận ông vào Hội thánh Chúa.</font><u1:p></u1:p></p>

Tin mừng hôm nay tiếp nối bài Tin mừng tuần trước nói về cây nho và cành

sống kết hợp với Chúa như cây nho và cành nho. Hôm nay Đức Giêsu lại đưa
ra cho chúng ta một bài học nữa về sự liên kết giữa các cành nho. Đó là
đức Bác ái mà các Kitô hữu phải thi hành đối với nhau:”</font><i><font size="4">Đây
là giới răn của Thầy : các con hãy yêu thương nhau như Thầy đã yêu

người từ bản tính ai cũng biết yêu, tuy mức độ và sắc thái có khác nhau.
Nhưng làm sao con người lại biết yêu ? Trong bài đọc 2, thánh Gioan Tông
đồ đã trả lời cho chúng ta :”<i>Vì tình yêu bắt nguồn từ Thiên Chúa”(</i>1Ga
4,7). Thiên Chúa là nguồn gốc tình yêu, Ngài ban cho chúng ta tình yêu
ấy để chúng ta yêu Ngài và yêu nhau.</font><u1:p></u1:p></p>

ta được dựng nên theo hình ảnh của Thiên Chúa, cho nên ngay từ bẩm sinh,

Thiên Chúa dựng nên Evà, thì Adong nói:”<i>Này là xương tự xương tôi,
thịt là thịt</i><span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>tôi”(St
2,23).</i> <span class="apple-converted-space"> </span>Tình yêu đồng
loại chớm nở từ đó. Từ lúc Thiên Chúa dựng nên hai người, hai người đã
chân thành thương yêu nhau như chính mình, coi nhau như một xương một
thịt. Ngày nay chúng ta thường nói:”<i>đồng bào ruột thịt</i>”. Đồng bào
có nghĩa là chung một bào thai sinh ra, đồng một nguồn gốc, một máu mủ,
ruột thịt.</font><u1:p></u1:p></p>

đầu, Thiên Chúa trao ban tình yêu của Ngài trực tiếp cho con người,
nhưng đã thất bại. Loài người không yêu Thiên Chúa, lại cũng không biết

một lần nữa, Thiên Chúa tỏ lòng yêu thương con người trong việc cứu
chuộc. Tình yêu ấy đã được thánh Gioan Tông đồ diễn tả:”</font><i><font size="4">Thiên
Chúa yêu thế gian đến nỗi đã ban Con Một, để ai tin vào Con của Người
thì khỏi phải chết nhưng được sống muôn đời. Quả vậy, Thiên Chúa sai Con

truyền này là chúng ta yêu thương nhau như chính Đức Giêsu đã yêu thương
chúng ta. Và khuôn mẫu của tình yêu thương là Đức Giêsu yêu thương chúng

nhiều đặc tính mà chúng ta cùng tìm hiểu để áp dụng vào đời sống thường

hồ nhỏ khác, nhờ đó nước của nó luôn trong sạch và mang lại sức sống cho

đọc cuốn tiểu thuyết “Anh phải sống” của nhà văn Khái Hưng, ta thấy cũng
có một nhân vật dám thực hiện lời khuyên trên của Đức Giêsu. Câu truyện
ấy gồm tóm như sau : Hai vợ chồng nghèo đi kiếm củi trên ngàn để bán lấy
tiền nuôi con. Hôm đó trời giông bão, họ bị nước cuốn trôi. Chỉ có một
khúc cây đủ sức cho một người bám. Người chồng bảo vợ hãy bám vào khúc
cây, vì”em phải sống để lo cho các con”. Người vợ cũng bảo chồng “Anh
phải sống”. Cuối cùng người vợ buông tay, tự tìm lấy cái chết cho mình,
để nhường sự sống lại cho chồng và các con.</font><u1:p></u1:p></span></p>
