Chúng ta dành một vài phút để chiêm ngắm đôi nét vị vua Giêsu của chúng
ta.</span></p>

Trước hết, Đức Giêsu là vua nghèo khó: Vua chúa trần gian thường sinh ra
trong cung điện giàu sang, còn vua Giêsu Đấng tác thành muôn loài, nhưng
lại sinh ra trong hang lừa máng cỏ nghèo hèn, vậy mà<span style="color: #222222">
ba đạo sĩ từ phương Đông tìm đến Giêrusalem hỏi: "Vua người Do Thái mới
sinh ra ở đâu, nên chúng tôi đến để triều bái Ngài” (Mt 2,2). Như vậy,
ngay từ khi mới sinh, Ngài được nhìn nhận là một đức vua. </span></span>
</p>

Vua Chúa trần gian cư ngụ trong những lâu đài sang trọng, còn vua Giêsu
Đấng giàu có vô cùng nói: "Con cáo có hang, chim trời có tổ, nhưng Con
Người không có nơi tựa đầu" (Mt 8,20). </span></p>

dân chúng muốn tôn phong </span>

trốn lên núi cầu nguyện </span>

Sau này, khi thấy Chúa </span>

Ấy thế mà trong cuộc thương khó sau khi bị lý hình đánh đòn tả tơi, họ
đem Chúa đến tòa án, quan Philatô hỏi: "Ông có phải là vua dân Do thái
không?". Thì Chúa xưng mình ngay: "Tôi là Vua, Tôi sinh ra và đến trong
thế gian này là để làm chứng cho sự thật, </span>
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">ai
hâm mộ sự thật thì nghe tôi" (Ga 18,37).</span></p>

Khi xưng mình như thế, thì dân Do thái họ đồng thanh loại trừ: "Đem đi,
đóng đinh nó vào thập giá" (Ga 19,15). <span style="color: #222222">Như
vậy, ngai vàng của vua Giêsu là cây thập giá, bản văn phong vương chính
là bản án mà Philatô ra lệnh ghi trên đầu Ngài: “Giêsu Nadarét, Vua
người Do Thái" (Ga 19,19).</span></span></p>

Đức Giêsu là vị vua khiêm nhường<span style="color: #222222">. Chúng ta
thấy, </span>vua chúa trần gian dùng quyền hành thống trị, có kẻ hầu
người hạ, còn vua Giêsu nói: <em>
<span style="color: #222222; font-style: normal">“Con người đến không
phải để được phục vụ nhưng là để phục vụ và hiến dâng mạng sống là giá
cứu chuộc cho muôn người”</span></em><span style="color: #222222"> (Mt
20,28). Thật vậy, trong đêm tiệc ly Ngài đã quỳ xuống rửa chân cho các
môn đệ, đây là một hành động thể hiện tình yêu thương đến cùng. </span>

nối, hay do vận động đấu tranh mà được tôn lên ngôi vị, để rồi bắt thần

Vua Giêsu </span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; color: #222222">thì do
Thiên Chúa Cha xức dầu tấn phong</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; color: #222222">,
để đem Tin mừng cho kẻ nghèo hèn, mở mắt cho người mù xem thấy, giải
thoát cho kẻ bị giam cầm, cho người mù được sáng mắt, trả t</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; color: #222222">ự</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; color: #222222">
do cho người bị áp bức, công bố năm hồng ân của Thiên Chúa. </span>
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; color: #222222">Cuối cùng hiến mình chịu</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; color: #222222">
chết </span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; color: #222222">trên thập
giá để </span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; color: #222222">
làm Hy Lễ Cứu Độ </span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; color: #222222">
trần gian.</span></p>

Như vậy, lãnh thổ của vua Giêsu không phải là núi cao biển rộng sông
dài, không phải là dân số đông đúc, không phải là kinh tế phồn thịnh,
không phải là văn hóa truyền thống lâu đời, nhưng vương quốc lãnh thổ
của vua Giêsu chính là mọi tín hữu trên khắp năm châu bốn bể, gồm tất
cả mọi người tin theo Chúa Kitô, làm nên một Đoàn Chiên duy nhất của
Chúa nơi trần gian.</span></p>

Rồi chúng ta thấy, mỗi đất nước đều có một lá cờ làm biểu tượng cho đất
nước. Lá cờ của vương quốc Giêsu là cây thánh giá. Đây là biểu tượng
tình yêu của một vị Vua đã hi sinh mạng sống cho công dân của mình.</span></p>

Để đất nước của mình ổn định và phát triển thì cần có một luật lệ. Luật
lệ của vương quốc Giêsu thật đơn giản đó là: "Người ta cứ dấu này mà
nhận biết các con là môn đệ Thầy, là các con yêu thương nhau"(Ga
13,35b). </span></p>

Tiền Tụng ngày lễ hôm nay </span>
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; color: #222222">cho biết thêm vương
quyền của vua Giêsu</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; color: #222222">:
“Cha đã xức dầu hoan lạc tấn phong Con Một Chúa là Đức Giêsu Kitô, Chúa
chúng con, làm Linh Mục đời đời và làm Vua vũ trụ, để khi hiến thân trên
bàn thờ Thập Giá làm lễ phẩm giao hòa và tinh tuyền, Ngài hoàn tất mầu
nhiệm cứu chuộc chúng con. Khi đã bắt mọi loài qui phục quyền bính mình,
Ngài trao lại cho Cha là Đấng uy linh cao cả, một Vương Quốc vĩnh cửu và
vô biên: Vương Quốc đầy tràn sự thật và sự sống, Vương Quốc đầy tràn ân
sủng và thánh thiện, Vương Quốc đầy tràn tình thương, công lý và bình
an”.</span></p>

Xin cho chúng ta luôn ý thức rằng: <span style="color: #222222">Ngày
lãnh nhận bí tích rửa tội, chúng ta chính thức trở thành công dân trong
vương quốc mang tên Giêsu.</span> <span style="color: #222222">Chúng ta
tôn xưng Chúa Kitô là Vua, Vua các tâm hồn, Vua toàn thể vũ trụ trên
trời dưới đất và trong hỏa ngục. Như vậy, để chứng minh mình là công dân
của Vua Giêsu, chúng ta hãy sống tinh thần phục vụ trong yêu thương,
sống theo đức tin và sự chân thật, sống quảng đại và hi sinh, sống bao
dung và tha thứ như Đức Vua Giêsu đã làm gương cho chúng ta.</span> Ước
gì trong đời sống đức tin chúng ta luôn ca lên<span style="color: #222222">:
“Lạy trái tim Chúa Giêsu, làm vua cai trị mọi loài, xin trái tim Chúa
làm vua cai trị lòng con suốt đời”. </span>Amen.<span style="color: #222222">
