Tỉnh thức là gì? Chữ “tỉnh” là tỉnh táo, chữ “thức” là nhận biết phân
biệt. Như vậy khi gặp bất cứ việc gì trong cuộc sống, người tỉnh thức là
người biết tỉnh táo nhận định cho chính xác, hiểu thật rõ ràng rồi mới
đi đến quyết định hành động.</span></font></p>

Dọc đường, thầy căn dặn trò hãy tỉnh thức đề phòng cạm bẫy và các thuốc
độc giết người của trần gian đầy đau khổ và sự dữ. Bỗng hai thầy trò
thầy một gói to nằm trên đường. Trò vội vàng chạy lại mở ra, rồi la lớn:</span></font></p>

- Thầy ơi, có lẽ trời Phật đã thưởng công tu luyện cho thầy trò ta rồi.
Đây là gói vàng, với số vàng này chúng ta tha hồ sống hạnh phúc.</span></font></p>

- Này con, đây không phải là nguồn hạnh phúc mà là thuốc độc đấy. Nếu
không tin, con cứ để gói vàng tại đây, chúng ta leo lên một cây kia rồi
sẽ thầy.</span></font></p>

Thế là người em út đi vào làng, còn lại hai người ngồi canh giữ. Trong
lúc này cả hai đều có ý định thanh toán nhau để một mình hưởng trọn gói
vàng. Thế là một trong hai người đã chết, còn người kia thoi thóp nằm ôm
gói vàng.</span></font></p>

Người em út trở về với rượu và đồ nhậu, thầy cảnh trên và nghĩ đây là cơ
hội để mình chiếm trọn gói vàng. Hắn vất rượu và đồ nhắm, khiêng tảng đá
to giáng xuống đầu người bạn đang nằm đó và ôm gói vàng tẩu thoát.</span></font></p>

Nhưng phần vì vừa phạm tội ác khiến lương tâm cắn rứt, phần vì mải mê
nghĩ đến gói vàng nên hắn đã tông vào một chiếc xe hơi và nằm chết bên
gói vàng.</span></font></p>

2. Tỉnh thức để làm gì chúng con?</span></font></i></b></p>

Thực ra thì Chúa đã đến rồi, đến cách nay hơn hai ngàn năm, nhưng theo t<span style="letter-spacing: -.3pt">hánh
Sirilô thành Giêrusalem cắt nghĩa thì chúng ta phải hiểu thế này:
"Những gì liên hệ tới Đức Giêsu Kitô Chúa chúng ta thường diễn ra <b><i>
<span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic">hai lần.</span></i></b>
Hai lần Người sinh ra: một lần bởi Thiên Chúa từ trước muôn đời; một lần
bởi đức Trinh nữ vào lúc thời gian viên mãn.</span></span></font></p>

Hai lần Người xuống thế: lần thứ nhất thì lặng lẽ như hạt mưa rơi xuống
lông chiên; Còn lần thứ hai, chắc chắn sẽ xẩy ra trong tương lai thì oai
hùng rực rỡ.</span></font></p>

Lần giáng lâm thứ nhất, Người được bọc tã đặt nằm trong máng cỏ; lần thứ
hai người khoác cẩm bào là muôn ánh hào quang.</span></font></p>

Lần thứ nhất. Người vác Thập Giá chẳng nề nhuốc hổ; còn lần thứ hai,
Người chiến thắng khải hoàn có thiên thần hộ tống.</span></font></p>

Vậy chúng ta đừng <b><i>
<span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic">dừng lại ở lần giáng
lâm thứ nhất </span></i></b>mà phải đợi chờ lần giáng lâm thứ hai trong
vinh quang. Lần thứ nhất chúng ta đã tung hô Người: Chúc tụng đấng ngự
đến nhân danh Chúa thì chúng ta sẽ lập lại y như thế trong lần thứ hai.
Lúc đó chúng ta sẽ cùng với các thiên thần ra nghênh đón Chúa mà thờ lạy
và tung hô: Chúc tụng đấng ngự đến nhân danh đức Chúa".</span></font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 48px; line-height: normal; text-autospace: none; margin-top: 8px; margin-bottom: 8px">

Hơn nữa giữ hai lần đến quan trọng đó Chúa còn đến với mỗi người trong
ngày Chúa gọi chúng ta ra khỏi cuộc sống sống này. Đây cũng là lần
Chúa đến thật quan trọng.</span></font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 48px; line-height: normal; margin-top: 8px; margin-bottom: 8px">

Bên cạnh đó chúng con thầy Chúa còn hứa đến với những ai biết họp nhau
cầu nguyện:"</span><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">Vì
ở đâu có hai ba người họp lại nhân danh Thầy, thì có <b><i>
<span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic">Thầy ở đấy, giữa
họ."</span></i></b>(Mt 18,20) cũng như khi lãnh nhận bí tích đặc biệt là
Bí Tích Thánh Thể.</span></font></p>

Như vậy chỉ có những người biết tỉnh thức và sằn sàng thì mới dễ gặp

Có một cậu bé muốn đi gặp Chúa Giêsu, để chuẩn bị cho cuộc hành trình,
cậu bỏ vào giỏ mấy chiếc bánh và hai chai sữa tươi. Và cậu bé lên đường,
