vừa qua hé mở cho chúng ta thấy một tương lai tốt đẹp đang sẵn chờ chúng
ta, và kêu gọi chúng ta hãy tỉnh thức sẵn sàng để đón nhận nó. Lời Chúa
hôm nay cho chúng ta thấy rõ hơn tương lai tốt đẹp ấy chính là Nước
Thiên Chúa. Trong Nước này, chính Thiên Chúa sẽ trực tiếp cai trị và mọi
công dân sẽ sống rất hạnh phúc trong công bình và bác ái.</span></p>

chính là Nước Thiên Chúa. Tuy nhiên, trên thực tế Giáo Hội vẫn chưa thực
sự là Nước Thiên Chúa vì ở một số phương diện vẫn còn rất nhiều lỗi lầm
sai sót. Bởi đó mỗi người trong Giáo Hội cần phải sám hối sửa đổi cuộc
sống mình để Giáo Hội ngày càng xứng đáng là Nước Thiên Chúa hơn.</span></p>

Giấc mơ thời thái bình</span></h4>

đọc báo mỗi ngày, chắc hẳn là nhiều lần chúng ta phải xấu hổ vì mình đã
làm người. Lịch sử loài người thế nào? Thưa là chiến tranh, chiến tranh
và chiến tranh. Bao nhiêu là chết chóc, bao nhiêu là sợ hãi, bao nhiêu

những người đầu tiên được nhìn thấy trái đất từ bên ngoài. Từ ngoài vũ
trụ nhìn vào, họ thấy trái đất như một gia đình đông đúc cùng cư ngụ
trong một mái nhà chung. Một nhà du hành kể: ngày thứ nhất trong vũ trụ,
mọi người chúng tôi ai cũng nhìn xuống tìm đất nước của mình; ngày thứ
hai tìm lục địa của mình, và ngày thứ ba ai nấy đều ý thức mình cùng
chung một trái đất.</span></p>

Isaia cũng dùng một cái nhìn từ bên ngoài để mô tả cảnh thái bình mà ông
nghĩ sẽ được thực hiện vào thời đại Messia: "Sói sống chung với chiên
con, beo nằm chung với dê, bò con, sư tử và chiên sẽ ở chung với nhau;
con trẻ sẽ dẫn dắt các thú ấy. Bò con và gấu sẽ ăn chung một nơi, các
con của chúng nằm ngủ chung với nhau; sư tử cũng như bò đều ăn cỏ khô;
trẻ con vừa thôi bú sẽ thọc tay vào hang rắn độc; các thú dữ ấy không
làm hại ai, không giết chết người nào..."</span></p>

Messia. Khi Ngài đến, Ngài đã thiết lập thời đại thái bình ấy. Thánh
Marcô kể rằng trong 40 ngày ở hoang địa, Ðức Giêsu đã sống chung một
cách hòa thuận với các dã thú, và các thiên sứ hầu hạ Ngài (Mc 1,12).
Giáo Hội thời sơ khai cũng là một cảnh thái bình. Sách Công vụ tông đồ
viết: "Tất cả các tín hữu hợp nhất với nhau và để mọi sự làm của chung.
Họ đem bán đất đai của cải, lấy tiền chia cho mỗi người theo nhu cầu. Họ
đồng tâm nhất trí, ngày ngày chuyên cần đến Ðền thờ. Khi làm lễ Bẻ bánh
tại tư gia, họ dùng bữa với lòng đơn sơ vui vẻ. Họ ca tụng Thiên Chúa và
được toàn dân thương mến" (Cv 3,44-47).</span></p>

ấy đã dần dần biến mất: con người đối xử với nhau còn tệ hơn dã thú,
thay vì chia sẻ cho nhau thì lại tranh dành với nhau, thay vì tất cả
đồng tâm nhất trí thì mỗi người một ý không ai chịu ai... Trong Mùa
Vọng, chúng ta hãy nỗ lực tái tạo cảnh thái bình ngày xưa, ít ra là
trong gia đình mình, trong khu xóm mình, trong tập thể mà mình đang
sống.</span></p>

các tín hữu phải sống với nhau thế nào để cộng đoàn Giáo Hội của họ thực
sự là một cuộc sống hạnh phúc trong Nước Chúa, Ngài đã chỉ họ 3 việc:
thông cảm nhau, tiếp rước nhau và phục vụ nhau.</span></p>

thể mà ai nấy đều thông cảm, tiếp rước và phục vụ mọi người khác. Cảnh
tượng sẽ chẳng kém gì giấc mơ thái bình của ngôn sứ Isaia và bức tranh
tuyệt vời của cộng đoàn tín hữu sơ khai.</span></p>
