nhà của một quan toà ở Milano, bên Italia, đã xảy ra một câu chuyện như
sau: Có hai người tranh chấp với nhau lâu ngày, nhưng không thể phân
thắng bại. Cuối cùng hai ngư</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; color: black">ờ</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">i
đã đưa nhau đến nhà quan toà của thành phố và nhờ ông phân xử. Người thứ
nhất trình bày câu chuyện và tự biện hộ cho mình. Anh v</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; color: black">ừ</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">a
dứt lời thì quan toà dõng dạc tuyên bố: </span></span></p>
<p class="Pa6" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span class="A0"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">- <b><i>Anh có lý</i></b>.</span></span></p>
<p class="Pa6" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span class="A0"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">Đến lượt người thứ hai
đứng lên phân trần. Anh cũng đem mọi lý lẽ ra để làm nghiêng cán cân
công lý về với mình. Sau khi nghe anh trình bày dông dài, quan toà cũng
tuyên bố: </span></span></p>

<span class="A0"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">Cậu con trai nhỏ của
quan toà theo dõi câu chuyện t</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; color: black">ừ</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">đầu
đến giờ thấy vậy rất ngạc nhiên. Nó thành thật nói với cha của mình:</span></span></p>

<span class="A0"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">- Làm thế nào mà cả hai
đều có lý cả được? </span></span></p>

<span class="A0"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">Quan toà cũng đưa ra
phán quyết về nhận xét của con mình như sau: </span></span></p>

<span class="A0"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">- <b><i>Con cũng có lý.

<span class="A0"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">Mỗi người ch</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; color: black">ú</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">ng
ta ai cũng có lý của mình, nhưng có lẽ ch</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; color: black">ú</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">ng
ta không muốn nhận ra phần có lý của người khác, cũng như chính phần lỗi
của mình. Và đó chính là diềng mối của mọi bất hoà t</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; color: black">ừ</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">xưa
đến nay.</span></span></p>
<p class="Pa6" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span class="A0"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">Chính vì thế mà mỗi
người ch</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; color: black">ú</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">ng
ta cần phải biết tha thứ cho nhau. Cuộc sống chỉ có thể thở được nếu mỗi
người ch</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; color: black">ú</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">ng
ta biết cư xử bằng sự cảm thông và tha thứ. </span></span></p>
<p class="Pa4" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span class="A0"><b><i><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">2. Phải tha thứ
vì chính ta cần được thứ tha.</span></i></b></span></p>
<p class="Pa4" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span class="A0"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">Con người ai mà chẳng
có những khi lầm lỗi. Chính vì thế mà con người phải biết tha thứ cho
nhau. </span></span></p>
<p class="Pa4" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span class="A0"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">Thánh Gandhi nói: “Nếu
ta chỉ áp dụng luật mắt đền mắt, răng đền răng thì thế giới sẽ chỉ còn
lại toàn là người mù”. Tha thứ cần thiết cho con người như khí trời.
</span></span></p>
<p class="Pa4" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span class="A0"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">Mẹ Têrêsa kể: “Tôi nhớ
một lần kia, tôi lượm được một bà cụ đang thoi thóp từgiữa đống rác. Tôi
ẵm bà cụ lên và đem về nhà, đặt bà trên giường. </span></span></p>
<p class="Pa4" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span class="A0"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">Bà cụ biết rõ là mình
sắp vĩnh biệt trần thế. Thế nhưng cụ chỉ cay đắng lặp đi lặp lại:</span></span></p>
<p class="Pa4" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span class="A0"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">- Chính thằng con tôi
đã đối xử với tôi như thế? Chính thằng con tôi đã đối xử với tôi như
thế?</span></span></p>
<p class="Pa4" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span class="A0"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">Bà không kêu: Tôi đang
sắp chết đói, tôi đang sắp chết khát đây. </span></span></p>

<span class="A0"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">Bà chỉ day dứt hoài một

trai tôi</span></span></p>

ấy bà thở hơi cuối cùng. </span></span></p>

<span class="A0"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">Một lần khác có một anh
thanh niên đang hấp hối, nhưng vẫn còn giằng co với cái chết tới ba, bốn
ngày. Một chị nữ tu hỏi anh:</span></span></p>
<p class="Pa4" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span class="A0"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">- Tại sao anh vẫn tiếp
tục chiến đấu? </span></span></p>
<p class="Pa4" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span class="A0"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">- Tôi không thể chết,
nếu tôi chưa xin cha tôi tha thứ cho tôi. </span></span></p>
<p class="Pa4" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span class="A0"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">Khi cha anh đến, anh đã
ôm lấy cha và xin cha thứ tha. </span></span></p>
<p class="Pa4" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span class="A0"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">Hai giờ sau, người
thanh niên bình an t</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; color: black">ừ</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">giã
cõi đời này. </span></span></p>

<span class="A0"><b><i><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">3. Phải tha thứ
vì đó là điều kiện để được thứ tha. </span></i></b></span></p>
<p class="Pa4" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span class="A0"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">Trong Tin m</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; color: black">ừ</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">ng,
Ch</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; color: black">ú</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">a
nhấn mạnh điều này rất nhiều lần. Khi dạy ta đọc kinh Lạy Cha, Ch</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; color: black">ú</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">a
bắt ta phải hứa tha cho anh em khi xin Người tha thứ lỗi lầm của ta. Ở
cuối kinh Lạy Cha, thánh Mátthêu còn thêm : <b><i>“Thật vậy, nếu anh em
tha lỗi cho người ta, thì Cha anh em trên trời cũng sẽ tha thứ cho anh
em. Nhưng nếu anh em không tha thứ cho người ta, thì Cha anh em cũng sẽ
không tha lỗi cho anh em”. (Mt 6,14-15). </i></b></span></span></p>
<p class="Pa4" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span class="A0"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">Dụ ngôn hôm nay không
những nhắc lại điều đó, mà còn cho thấy, tội ta xúc phạm đến Ch</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; color: black">ú</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">a
muôn ngàn lần còn nặng nề hơn anh em x</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; color: black">ú</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">c
phạm đến ta. Thế mà Ch</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; color: black">ú</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">a
</span></span></p>
<p class="Pa4" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: normal; page-break-before: always; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span class="A0"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">vẫn sẵn sàng tha thứ
cho ta một cách mau chóng, nhẹ nhàng, chỉ với một điều kiện là ta cũng
phải tha cho anh em những lỗi lầm ít ỏi anh em x</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; color: black">ú</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">c
phạm đến ta . </span></span></p>
<p class="Pa4" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span class="A0"><b><i><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">4. Sau cùng ta
cần tha thứ để trở nên giống Chúa. </span></i></b></span></p>
<p class="Pa5" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span class="A0"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">Một hiệp sỹ dũng cảm
tên là <b><i>Hidebrand </i></b>bị một bạn đồng nghiệp tên là <b><i>Bruno
</i></b>nhục mạ nặng nề. Hidebrand thề sẽ trả thù đích đáng. Ông suy
nghĩ và chuẩn bị kỹ lưỡng chương trình hành động. Cuối cùng, ơng chọn
địa điểm và thời giờ thuận lợi. Ông thức dậy giữa đêm, một mình võ trang
đầy đủ đi đến nơi thanh vắng mà ông biết Bruno sẽ đi ngang qua. Trên
đường đi ông gặp thấy một ngôi nhà nguyện còn đang mở cửa. Ông vào đó để
chờ cho đến sáng. Trong khi chờ đợi ông tiêu khiển bằng cách ngắm nhìn
các bức tranh trong nhà nguyện. </span></span></p>
<p class="Pa5" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span class="A0"><b><i><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">Bức tranh thứ
nhất </span></i></b><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">vẽ Ch</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; color: black">ú</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">a
Giêsu mặc áo choàng đỏ, đầu đội mão gai, phía dưới có ghi một hàng chữ
bằng tiếng Latinh nội dung như sau: “Bị lăng nhục, Ngài không đáp trả
lại bằng lăng nhục”. </span></span></p>
<p class="Pa5" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span class="A0"><b><i><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">Bức thứ hai
</span></i></b><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">nhắc lại cảnh đau buồn
khi Ngài bị đánh đòn, với hàng chữ “Khi chịu những khổ đau như thế Ngài
không hề đe dọa”. </span></span></p>
<p class="Pa5" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span class="A0"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">Và cuối cùng, <b><i>bức
thứ ba </i></b>trình bày Ch</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; color: black">ú</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">a
Giêsu trên Thập Giá, với hàng chữ “Lạy Cha xin tha cho họ vì họ không
biết việc họ làm”. </span></span></p>
<p class="Pa5" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span class="A0"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">Nhìn liên tiếp ba bức
tranh như thế, tâm hồn Hidebrand bị x</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; color: black">ú</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">c
động mạnh. Ông quỳ gối xuống và bắt đầu cầu nguyện. Dần dần cơn hận thù
giảm đi, rồi biến mất. Ông còn ngồi lại đó chờ kẻ thù của ông đến, nhưng
chờ để tha thứ tận tình và để làm hoà lại với nhau. (Góp nhặt).</span></span></p>
