Phêrô để mở cửa thiên đàng, chúng ta sẽ thấy đầy những người nghèo như “bà
góa nghèo đến bỏ tiền vào đền thờ hai đồng kẽm chỉ bằng một phần tư đồng bạc
Rôma” (Mc. 12, 42), đầy những kẻ đói khát như anh ăn mày Ladarô mụn nhọt đầy
mình, nằm trước cổng nhà giàu (Lc. 16, 20), đầy những người khóc lóc như con
thành Giêrusalem đến khóc thương Chúa trên đường vác Thánh giá, đã được Chúa
đứng lại yên ủi như Cha yên ủi con trong cơn khóc lóc, hay như Phêrô khóc
than vì đã phạm tội chối Thầy ba lần, đầy những người bị oán ghét, khai trừ,
nhục mạ và xóa bỏ tên tuổi coi như đồ xấu xa như Đức Giêsu, Gioan tiền hô,
các tiên tri và các thánh tử đạo.</span></p>

cửa hỏa ngục, chúng ta sẽ thấy đầy dẫy những hạng phú hộ ăn chơi, những hạng
tham ô, móc ngoặc, những quản lý giết người cướp của, như hạng nhà giàu
không thương giúp Ladarô, hạng kinh sư móc hết tài sản các bà góa, hạng tá
điền cướp vườn nho (Mc. 12. 1-9, 38-40), đầy những hạng quyền quý sang trọng
được tung hô, yến tiệc khao vọng, múa nhẩy, nghiện ngập như Hêrôđê no say
còn bày trò chém đầu Gioan tiên hô, đầy hạng vui cười, chế nhạo, oán thù như
quân dữ, trưởng tế và luật sĩ nhục mạ Đức Giêsu lúc bị treo trên Thánh giá.</span></p>

khát, khóc lóc bị oán ghét lại được Chúa chúc phúc chan chứa vui mừng trong
vinh quang nước trời?</em></strong></span></p>

<span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px">Thưa, vì họ bị đàn áp, bóc lột, tước
đoạt hết các thứ thuộc về thế gian. Hàng đoàn đám đông dân chúng đó chỉ còn
biết trông cậy vào Đức Giêsu. Họ bỏ cả quê hương danh tiếng như Giudêa,
Giêrusalem, Tyrô, Siđon để đến theo Chúa. Người đã cứu chữa họ cả xác lẫn
hồn. Người vừa chữa cho họ khỏi tật nguyền quỷ ám, vừa giảng cho họ biết
đường sống hạnh phúc muôn thuở.</span></p>

của như Đức Giêsu không có chỗ tựa đầu, nhưng lại giầu lòng thương người như
Đức Giêsu đã cho bao nhiêu người nương tựa. Họ nghèo khó, vì không tham lam,
trộm cắp, nhưng lại giầu tinh thần cao quý thanh tao, siêu thoát. Họ nghèo
của trần tục, nhưng họ giầu của nước trời. Họ là những người bụng đói của ăn
như Ngài, đến nỗi các môn đệ bứt lúa ăn và bị chỉ trích, nhưng họ khao khát
công chính và theo Ngài đi rao giảng Tin Mừng nước trời cho muôn dân. Họ đói
bánh nuôi cái bụng, nhưng họ thoả dạ an lòng vì siêng năng rước Bánh Hằng
sống.</span></p>

thương xót bao nhiêu cảnh lầm than như Chúa đã khóc thương Ladarô, khóc
thương thành Giêrusalem và chịu chết cho con cháu họ. Ít ra, họ là những
người như Phêrô biết ăn năn thống hối và trở lại với Thầy để lãnh nhận trách
nhiệm cứu giúp muôn dân sa ngã như mình.</span></p>

khổ, oan uổng, bất công, biết vác thập giá theo Chúa để cứu nhân độ thế. Họ
đã được phần thưởng lớn lao trên nước trời.</span></p>

sướng, vinh quang lại bị chúc dữ?</em></strong></span></p>

<span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px">Thưa, họ là những kẻ ham danh, ham
lợi, ham thú vui vật chất phàm tục. Họ cậy vào tiền của vì họ tưởng: “Có
tiền mua tiên cũng được”, chẳng cần đến ai. Họ xa lìa Thiên Chúa đi theo các
thần tài, thần hoàng, thần nữ, thần thổ địa và các thần tượng. Đó là các tử
thần, họ sẽ chết theo chúng.</span></p>

<span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px">Lịch sử đã cho thấy, khi con người
nghèo đói, túng cực, lam lũ khổ sở, họ sốt sắng chạy đến kêu cầu, trông cậy
vào Thiên Chúa. Nhưng khi được ấm no, sung túc thì ăn chơi, lười biếng, cậy
mình kiêu ngạo, không cần đến Thiên Chúa nữa. Dân nước Balan trước đây hơn
90% siêng năng đi lễ, cầu nguyện, đoàn kết như một, dưới quyền hướng dẫn của
Giáo Hội. Nay được dễ dãi, làm ăn phát đạt, họ lại chia rẽ, khinh thường
hàng giáo phẩm và xa lìa Thiên Chúa. Các nước Âu Mỹ cũng thế. Giáo dân Việt
Nam cũng không khá gì: trong những năm 1975-1985, đời sống đói khổ, thì ngày
thường cũng như Chúa nhật nhà thờ đầy người. Nay, ngày thường chỉ leo teo
một số cụ già, con nít, còn thanh niên người lớn có tiền bạc, ăn chơi, rượu
chè, hút sách bất tận. Chúa nhật đi lễ hơn một giờ thì thấy lâu, sốt ruột,
ngồi ngoài sân, đứng lấp ló xó nọ góc kia, nói chuyện, hút thuốc, mà không
biết rằng ai cho cái miệng để ăn nói, ai cho cái mũi để thở, ai cho hơi thở
khí mát để sống. Thật vô phúc, vô ơn Thiên Chúa đến chừng nào! Những hạng đó
đến bao giờ mới được chúc phúc, Đức Giêsu còn phải chúc dữ đến bao giờ!</span></p>

<span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px">Người ta nói: “Mười năm trồng cây,
trăm năm trồng người”. Trồng người để có người tốt, có dòng giống con cháu
tốt thì mới có việc tốt, nhờ đó xây dựng gia đình, xã hội tốt từ đời này tới
đời kia, lâu dài hàng trăm năm. Trồng cây để lấy của hưởng thụ, chỉ được
mươi mười năm là hết. Biết rõ như thế, những bậc thánh hiền vĩ nhân luôn
luôn quan tâm đặc biệt tới trồng người, dù có phải sống hy sinh kham khổ như
Khổng Tử, Đức Phật.</span></p>

<span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px">Khổng Tử đã từ chức quan đại thần
sống thật thanh bần: “Ăn cơm thô, uống nước lã, co cánh tay gối đầu, lòng
đầy hoan lạc. Bất nghĩa mà giầu sang, ta coi như phù vân … Ta thường trọn
ngày quên ăn, trọn đêm quên ngủ vì suy tư … lo đạt đạo” (Ln. 7, 15 và 15,
30-31). Đức Phật không thể chịu nỗi cảnh giầu sang, danh vọng của hoàng
cung, đã trốn lên rừng tìm đạo để cứu nhân độ thế, thoát khỏi cảnh khổ của
hoàng cung phàm trần này mà nhân loại đang trầm luân trong đó. Các vị đó
thật giống với cuộc đời thanh bần trong sáng của Đức Kitô: “Con chồn có
hang, chim trời có tổ, nhưng Con Người không có chỗ tựa đầu” (Lc. 9, 58).
Vậy hạnh phúc muôn thuở của các ngài, không phải giầu sang, quyền quý, mà là
siêu thoát để truyền dậy chân lý không mệt.</span></p>

tường vì tường sẽ đổ, đừng tựa vào cây vì cây sẽ gẫy, đừng tựa vào người vì
