Chính trong tình trạng khốn quẫn đó phải làm sao để có thể giữ vững được đức
tin của mình ? Chỉ còn một cách mà người đàn bà góa trong bài Phúc Âm hôm
nay đã làm là phải cố gắng kiên trì van nài sự cứu giúp của quan tòa để minh
oan cho mình. Cũng thế, muốn giữ vững và sống đức tin, cũng như thắng được
những khó khăn, trở ngại trên đường đời một cách thành công thì mỗi người
chúng ta phải biết cầu nguyện và cầu nguyện liên tục ngày đêm với Chúa là
Đấng mới có quyền năng giải cứu chúng ta khỏi nguy khốn.</span></p>

Cha kể cho chúng con một truyền thuyết thuật lại rằng: <i>vào năm 1314, vua
nước Scotland là Robert Bruce lãnh đạo dân quân đánh đuổi quân Anh để giành
lấy độc lập cho xứ sở, nhưng bị quân Anh đánh bại liên tiếp nhiều phen. Đến
lần thứ sáu, quân lực của Vua Robert Bruce bị quân Anh đánh tả tơi không còn
manh giáp và nhà vua phải chạy trốn vào rừng sâu. Bị thất trận liên tiếp đến
sáu lần, nhà vua hoàn toàn tuyệt vọng và không còn mong đợi gì ngoài cái
chết. </i></span></p>

bại, con nhện tiếp tục gắng sức hơn nhưng vẫn thất bại liên tiếp đến sáu

Sự kiên trì của con nhện đã giúp nó thành công khiến vua Robert Bruce lấy
lại tinh thần. Noi gương con nhện, nhà vua chỗi dậy, quyết tâm mộ quân tiếp
tục chiến đấu lần thứ bảy. Và cũng như con nhện trong hang, lần này, nhà vua
đại thắng quân Anh cách vẻ vang và giành lấy độc lập tự do cho quê hương đất
