Cha thấy như Chúa nói: </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Nước Trời rộng mênh mông, có thể đón tiếp tất cả mọi người. Nhưng không
phải tất cả mọi người </span>
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
đều </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
vào được, vì vào Nước Trời đòi có những <b><i>điều kiện</i></b> cần
thiết. Cửa hẹp chính là <b><i>để tuyển lựa những người có phẩm chất
thích hợp</i></b> với Nước Trời. </span></p>

phấn đấu. </span>

Nhưng phấn đấu thế nào?</span></p>

1. Trước hết</span></i></b><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
<b><i>phải phấn đấu </i></b></span><b><i>
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">để
</span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
hạ mình xuống</span></i></b><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">.
</span>
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Chúng con thấy ở </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
đời người ta thường phấn đấu để vươn lên. Người ở địa vị thấp phấn đấu
để được địa vị cao. Người hèn kém phấn đấu để được trọng vọng. Người
phải phục vụ phấn đấu để được người khác phục vụ mình. </span>
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Người nghèo phấn đấu để trở thành giầu có. </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Nhưng trong Nước Trời thì <b><i>ngược lại</i></b>. Phải phấn đấu để đi
xuống. Phải phấn đấu để tìm chỗ thấp hèn nhất. Phải phấn đấu để phục vụ
anh em. Như lời Chúa dậy: "Ai nâng mình lên sẽ bị hạ xuống. Ai hạ mình
xuống sẽ được nâng lên" (Lc 14,11). "Ai lớn nhất trong anh em, thì phải
nên như người nhỏ tuổi nhất, và kẻ làm đầu thì phải nên như người phục
vụ" (Lc 22, 26). "Ai không đón nhận Nước Thiên Chúa với tâm hồn một trẻ
em, thì sẽ chẳng được vào" (Mc 10,15).</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 12.0pt">
<b><i>
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Sau đó</span></i></b><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
phải phấn đấu để <b><i>bé nhỏ lại</i></b>. Thông thường ở đời người ta
phấn đấu để </span>
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
phình </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
to ra. Ai có nhà nhỏ phấn đấu để có nhà lớn hơn. Ai có ruộng vườn nhỏ
cũng phấn đấu để vườn ruộng lớn rộng thêm. Ai cũng phấn đấu để có nhiều
của cải hơn, có nhiều đặc quyền đặc lợi hơn. Trái lại, người muốn vào
Nước Trời phải phấn đấu để trở nên bé nhỏ. Phải phấn đấu để trở nên
nghèo. Phải phấn đấu để bỏ bớt của cải đi. "Hãy đi bán tài sản của anh
và đem cho người nghèo, anh sẽ được một kho tàng trên trời. Rồi hãy đến
theo tôi" (Mt 19, 21). "Phúc thay ai có tinh thần nghèo khó, vì Nước
Trời là của họ" (Mt 5, 3). </span></p>

<b><i>

2. </span>
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Thứ đến phải nhớ: </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Cửa vào Nước Trời </span>
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
thì </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
hẹp vì được làm theo kích thước của Ðức Giê-su.</span></i></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 12.0pt">
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Cửa này <b><i>thấp</i></b> vì Ðức Giê-su đã hạ mình thẳm sâu. Là Thiên
Chúa, Người đã tự nguyện trở nên người phàm. Từ trời cao, Người đã tự
nguyện xuống nơi đất thấp. Là Thầy, nhưng Người đã tự nguyện trở nên
người phục vụ. Vô cùng thánh thiện nhưng Người đã để bị đối xử như một
đại tội phạm. Người đã bị vùi dập xuống tận bùn đen.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 12.0pt">
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Cửa này <b><i>bé</i></b> vì Ðức Giê-su đã trở nên bé nhỏ. Người đã sinh
ra nghèo, sống nghèo và chết nghèo. Người đã bị bóc lột hết, không phải
chỉ quần áo mà cả uy tín và danh dự.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 12.0pt">
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Ðức Giê-su đã mở đường về Nước Trời. Muốn vào Nước Trời chẳng có con
đường nào khác ngoài con đường Ðức Giê-su đã đi. Chẳng có cửa nào khác
ngoài khung cửa hẹp mà Ðức Giê-su đã qua. Ai muốn qua đó cũng phải noi
gương Ðức Giê-su phấn đấu hạ mình thẳm sâu và thu mình thành bé nhỏ
nghèo </span>
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
khó</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">.
Chỉ những ai hạ mình khiêm tốn và từ bỏ hết cái tôi cồng kềnh ích kỷ mới
qua được khung cửa hẹp </span>
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
này để </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
vào </span>
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
được </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Nước Thiên Chúa</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
mà thôi.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 12.0pt">
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Vì con đường đưa tới nước trời là con đường hẹp</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">:</span><b><i><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">"Hãy
vào qua cửa hẹp"</span></i></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 12.0pt">
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Sẽ không có phần thưởng cho những kẻ ươn lười. Sẽ không có sự cứu độ cho
những ai không cố gắng đi theo đường lối của Chúa.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 12.0pt">
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Người ta kể lại rằng: Một ngày kia Chúa Giêsu và thánh Phêrô đi dạo
trong một khu xóm lao động nghèo khó. Đi được một lúc thì Ngài thấy ở
phía trước có một người đàn ông đang hì hục đẩy chiếc xe gỗ chất đầy
hàng hóa của ông ta. Chiếc xe đang tiến về phía trước thì bỗng nhiên vấp
phải một hòn đá ở giữa đường làm cho chiếc xe bị lật nằm chênh vênh giơ
cả các bánh xe lên trời. Hàng hóa đổ ra tung tóe. Thấy vậy Ngài bảo
Phêrô cùng lánh qua một bên.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 12.0pt">
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Ngài để ý quan sát xem trước sự việc đó, người đàn ông kia sẽ xử trí như
thế nào. Qua cử chỉ của ông ta Chúa thấy ông như đang muốn tìm người
giúp đỡ. Ông đưa mắt nhìn chung quanh nhưng chẳng gặp được một người
nào. Kẹt quá, ông đành quì xuống đưa hai tay lên trời và tha thiết cầu
nguyện: </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 12.0pt">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">-
</span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Lạy Chúa, Chúa luôn cứu giúp những người hoạn nạn. Xe của con bị lật
ngửa giữa đường mà chẳng thấy có một ma nào đi qua để giúp đỡ con một
tay. Chúa chỉ cần đụng một ngón tay thì phép lạ sẽ xẩy ra. Xin Chúa giúp
con.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 12.0pt">
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Phêrô nghe thấy thế thì cảm thấy rất xúc động vì lời lẽ của ông chân
thành quá. Thế nhưng Phêrô lại vô cùng ngạc nhiên vì xem ra Chúa chẳng
để ý gì đến những lời cầu khẩn của ông ta. Ngài tỏ ra rất lạnh lùng,
không một chút xúc cảm đối với những lời cầu nguyện đó và sau đó thì
Ngài rẽ qua một bên và cứ thẳng đường mà tiến về phía trước, trước sự
ngỡ ngàng của người đàn ông kia.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 12.0pt">
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Một lát sau </span>
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Chúa và Phêrô </span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
đến gần một cái chợ. Một cảnh tương tự lại xảy ra. Một chiếc xe chất đầy
hàng hóa cũng bị lật ngửa giữa đường. Người lài xe thay vì quì gối cầu
nguyện thì lại hì hục cố gắng để lật chiếc xe lên. Mồ hôi mồ kê nhễ nhãi
ướt đẫm cả người mà chiếc xe vẫn không nhúc nhích. Mặc dầu vậy, người
đàn ông ấy vẫn kiên trì dùng hết sức của mình để kéo chiếc xe
lên....vừa đẩy, vừa kéo, và nhiều lúc còn văng ra những câu chửi thề.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 12.0pt">

Thấy thế Chúa Giêsu quay lại nói với Phêrô:</span></p>

Nào chúng ta hãy đến giúp ông ta một tay.</span></p>

Phêrô không thể hiểu nổi thái độ của Chúa. Ông liền bạo miệng hỏi Chúa:</span></p>

<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">-</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Thưa Thầy, lúc nãy người nông dân đã quì xuống cầu nguyện với tất cả
lòng chân thành của mình...tại sao Thầy không đếm xỉa gì đến lời van xin
của ông ta. Còn tên này chửi bới rủa xả đủ điều mà Thầy lại muốn giúp đỡ
hắn?"</span></p>

Chúa giải thích:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 12.0pt">

</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">-

<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Con không thấy hai trường hợp <b><i>khác nhau rất xa</i></b> sao? Lúc
nãy người kia chỉ biết quì gối cầu nguyện và chờ đợi sự giúp đỡ của
Thầy, còn tự người đó, người đó không hề làm một cái gì để tự cứu lấy
mình, dù một ngón tay cũng không đụng tới. <b><i>Ngược lại</i></b> người
lái buôn đang ở trước mắt chúng ta, dù</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
cho</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
nó </span>
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">có
</span>
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
nói những lời thô tục nhưng con có thấy không, nó vẫn cố gắng xoay sở
hết sức để tự cứu lấy mình. Hắn cần phải được chúng ta giúp đỡ. </span>
</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 12.0pt">
<span lang="VI" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Người Pháp có một câu châm ngôn này: "Bạn hãy tự cứu lấy mình trước và
trời sẽ giúp bạn sau " (Aide toi, le ciel t' aidera)</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; line-height: normal; text-autospace: none; margin-bottom: 12.0pt">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Vâng quả đúng như thế. Chúng ta không thể vào Nước Trời mà không phải cố
gắng. Xin Chúa giúp cho chúng ta được can đảm vượt qua mọi khó khăn
trong cuộc sống nhất là phải can đảm làm những gì Chúa đã làm, sống
những gì Chúa đã sống để mai sau chúng ta được Chúa thưởng công trên
nước trời.
