một hang động. Tại đây ông đã khám phá ra một kho tàng với không biết
bao nhiêu vàng bạc châu báu. Nhưng ông đã vội vã ra khỏi hang, vừa chạy
vừa la thất thanh: “Tôi đã thấy thần chết”.</font></em></span></p>

không biết sợ là gì, ba tên cướp yêu cầu đưa họ đến gặp thần chết. Vị ẩn
sĩ dẫn họ vào hang động và chỉ vào kho tàng. Mắt họ sáng lên và lập tức
ba tên cướp tống cổ vị tu hành ra khỏi hang.</font></em></span></p>

thể mang ra tất cả trong một ngày. Sau một hồi bàn cãi ba tên cướp đồng
ý để một người ra phố mua sắm lương thực. Hai người còn lại ngồi đó canh
giữ kho báu.</font></em></span></p>

trong bụng: “Ta sẽ ăn uống no nê, sau đó bỏ thuốc độc vào thức ăn. Hai
tên khốn nạn sẽ chết và ta sẽ chiếm trọn kho tàng”.</font></em></span></p>

bàn với nhau: “Chúng ta sẽ giết hắn. Và như thế phần của mỗi người chúng

động. Họ liền giết hắn và nuốt trọn thức ăn có thuốc độc. Thế là cả ba
đã cùng nhau đi gặp thần chết như lời vị ẩn sĩ tiên báo.</font></em></span></p>

<font size="4">Vì tham lam của cải mà ba sinh mạng đã bị thần chết cướp đi trong nháy
mắt. Vì chạnh lòng thương xót người quả phụ cô độc, hôm nay Đức Giêsu đã
giật lại khỏi tay thần chết con trai duy nhất của bà góa thành Naim.</font></span></p>

<font size="4">Đức Giêsu đã can thiệp mau lẹ, xử lý nhanh gọn, ra tay tức thời, không
chờ đợi người ta cầu xin, nài nỉ. Người nhìn rõ nỗi buồn mất con, Người
hiểu thấu nỗi cô đơn của bà góa không nơi nương tựa, Người liền an ủi: “<em style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px">Bà
đừng khóc nữa”</em><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>(Lc
7,13). Rồi Người sờ vào quan tài và nói: “<em style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px">Này
người thanh niên, tôi bảo anh: Hãy trỗi dậy”<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></em>(Lc

<font size="4">Thiên Chúa yêu thương con người vì Thiên Chúa là tình yêu (1Ga 4,16). Vì
bản chất của Thiên Chúa là yêu thương, nên Người muốn giải thoát con
người khỏi nỗi cô đơn buồn phiền, khỏi thất vọng đắng cay, khỏi đau
thương tuyệt vọng. Và nỗi đau thương tuyệt vọng lớn nhất của con người
là sự chết, thì Người cũng sẵn lòng giải thoát con người khỏi chết.</font></span></p>

<font size="4">Tình yêu của Thiên Chúa không dừng lại ở đó. Người còn muốn đi xa hơn
nữa trong tình yêu: Người muốn giải thoát con người khỏi cái chết muôn
đời. Con trai bà góa thành Naim sống lại để rồi lại phải chết, nhưng
những ai được Người yêu thương giải thoát thì sẽ vĩnh viễn sống lại miên
trường. Đó mới là sứ mạng của Người khi xuống trần gian.</font></span></p>

<font size="4">Sự kiện con trai bà góa thành Naim được Người cho sống lại chính là hình
bóng báo trước biến cố vô cùng lớn lao hơn. Biến cố đó là cốt lõi của
đạo, là trung tâm điểm của Kitô giáo: Đó chính là nhờ sự chết và sống
lại của Đức Giêsu mà tất cả chúng ta được giải thoát khỏi cái chết muôn
đời.</font></span></p>

<font size="4">Thiên Chúa yêu thương con người, Người muốn giải thoát con người khỏi
lưỡi hái của tử thần, nhưng con người vẫn có tự do để chọn sự sống hay
nỗi chết. Ba tên cướp vì tham lam của cải đã chọn cho mình hai cái chết:
cái chết của thể xác và cái chết của linh hồn. Trong cái hang tử thần ấy
không chỉ có những con người tham của mà còn vô số những kẻ tham danh
vọng, địa vị, chức quyền; không chỉ có những người mê của mà còn hằng hà
những kẻ mê hút sách, rượu chè, cờ bạc, trai gái.</font></span></p>

<font size="4">Cái chết phần xác thì ai cũng sẽ trải qua một lần trong đời, nhưng cái
chết phần hồn thì chỉ có những con người can đảm, bền chí và trung thành
với Đức Kitô và giới luật của Người mới có thể vượt qua để sống viên
miễn với Người trên nơi vĩnh phúc.</font></span></p>

chết để cùng sống lại vinh quang với Người. Nhưng trước khi chết xin cho
chúng con biết dứt lòng từ bỏ những gì là xấu xa của ma quỷ, thế gian và
xác thịt để chúng con được tự do thong dong về với Chúa là Cha đầy yêu
thương. Amen.</font></em></span></p>
