hơn là chức bậc, phẩm trật và hơn cả hình thức tổ chức bề ngoài. Tinh thần
ấy được phác hoạ trong bài giảng trên núi, Thánh Luca viết cho những người
ngoại giáo, không phải cho những người Do thái. Chính vì thế, những gì có
tính cách đặc biệt Do thái đều bị bỏ đi và tất cả bài giảng chỉ bằng một

đến đang bắt đầu nơi Ngài và nhờ Ngài, bây giờ đây, Ngài thấy nó trở nên
sung mãn hoàn toàn: chính lúc con người chết, là đi vào cuộc sống mới, đối
với toàn thể nhân loại, đó là ngày cùng tận được đi vào trời mới đất mới.
Suốt trong sứ điệp của vị Thiên Chúa rao giảng, cái nhìn vẫn cố định trên
cái viễn tượng tối cao đó: bài giảng trên núi chỉ có thể hiểu theo nghĩa

nghèo khó, khốn cho các ngươi những kẻ giàu có…’. Đối với Chúa Kitô, đây
không phải là diễn từ mang tính chất xã hội, một cách phân phối của cải, một
cuộc cách mạng kinh tế, nhưng là một quan điểm về sự đảo lộn có tính cách
quyết định, của cuộc cách mạng chân thật và sâu sắc nhất, của sự đảo lộn
tuyệt đối trong đó những kẻ trước hết sẽ nên sau hết và những kẻ sau hết sẽ
nên trước hết.</span></p>

sống nghèo khổ trong thế giới hiện thời sẽ được gìn giữ để khỏi sa vào lưới
thế gian, họ đã luôn nhắm vào vũ trụ tương lai, vào nước Thiên Chúa. Người
nghèo khó không bị của cải trần gian đè lấp: vì thế họ hy vọng với lòng
trông cậy những ngày tươi sáng hơn. Người giàu trái lại coi thế này như là
nơi vĩnh cửu. Họ tìm thấy ở đó những thoả mãn những điều họ ao ước. ‘Ở đó,
‘một ngày kia’, đó là những viễn tượng họ không nghĩ đến, và cũng chẳng nghĩ
đến nữa: đó là cái họ sợ hãi và trốn chạy.</span></p>

giờ đói khát… Khốn cho các ngươi là kẻ đã được no nê đầy đủ’. Người đói khát
là người cảm thấy có nhu cầu. Họ chờ mong với lòng ao ước điều ngày hôm nay
họ không có được. Còn kẻ no nê, thoả mãn với chính mình lại muốn làm cho
giây phút hiện tại này thành vĩnh cửu và từ chối sự vĩnh cửu thực sự. Họ
đáng cái mà người ta ca thán khi giờ nước Thiên Chúa đến: đó là lời chúc dữ
chứ không phải là lời chúc phúc.</span></p>

giờ phải khóc lóc… khốn cho các ngươi là kẻ hiện đang vui cười’. Ở đây nữa,
từ ngữ, ‘bây giờ’ ‘hiện giờ’ là chính yếu. Những kẻ khóc lóc là những người
thấy thất vọng với cái thế gian này. Họ chỉ thấy những sự khó chịu, đau khổ.
Do đó họ hướng về tương lai, hy vọng có cái gì khác lạ và mới mẻ mà Chúa
Kitô mang đến.</span></p>

trong những sung sướng dưới thế này, họ hài lòng với tính chất hời hợt của
thế gian này, không muốn tin rằng thế gian này là cái chóng qua. Đến lúc
thay đổi, vui cười của họ sẽ biến thành than khóc; ngay từ bây giờ họ đã bị
nguyền rủa.</span></p>

mà thiên hạ oán ghét, trục xuất và loại trừ tên các ngươi như kẻ bất lương…

thật kêu và ít thấy có hoà đồng hỗ tương. Những kẻ nghèo khó, đói khát,
những kẻ khóc lóc, bị đuổi bắt, bị những người no nê, giàu có, vui cười…
ghét ghen và khinh dể. Nhưng có Chúa Kitô ở bên họ, Ngài là Đấng giảng lời
quyền năng được dân chúng ca tụng, và Ngài sẽ lên tiếng khen họ.</span></p>

Ngài, biến đổi thế gian này chưa đủ. Ngài còn mang đến một cái gì hoàn toàn
khác hẳn, tuyệt đối mới mẻ: đó là nước Thiên Chúa.</span></p>

phải là chuyện cải biến thế giới hiện thời, một sự cao thượng hoá con người,
kéo dài luân lý nhân loại. Và như vậy có thể giải thích được sức mạnh và
quyền năng chưa hề nghe nói về vị giảng thuyết và về giáo huấn của Ngài.</span></p>
