từ một ngọn núi nơi Người đã gặp Thiên Chúa. Vâng, trước khi nói với chúng
ta điều Người sẽ nói, Đức Giêsu đã "qua một đêm cầu nguyện Thiên Chúa” (Lc
6,12). Thiên Chúa không nhìn sự vật như chúng ta. Đức Giêsu đã dùng cái nhìn
của Thiên Chúa trong Thiên Chúa... trong một sự cầu nguyện kéo dài! Đối với
chúng ta, hạnh phúc là một vấn đề của may mắn, sức khoẻ, tiền bạc, sự thành
công. Chúng ta sắp nghe từ miệng của Đức Giêsu rằng, đối với Thiên Chúa,
hạnh phúc là một vấn đề chọn lựa: Người ta quyết định mình được hạnh phúc!
Phúc cho những người khốn khổ, Đức Giêsu sẽ nói như thế. Bạn có thể hạnh
phúc, dù nghèo, dù đói, dù bị lăng nhục. Nghịch lý chăng: ảo tưởng phi thực
chăng? Chúng ta hãy lắng nghe Đức Giêsu.</span></p>

“makarioi" dịch từ một tiếng Do Thái thường gặp trong Kinh Thánh, đó là từ
đầu tiên của Thánh Vịnh đầu tiên "asheri"... Đó là một từ ở số nhiều muốn
diễn tả một niềm vui tràn đầy, mà ông Chouraqui vốn nhạy cảm với ngôn ngữ
của mình, đã dịch bằng chữ "hoan hỉ"!</span></p>

trước mặt Người quả thật là những người' "làm nghề mọn”, những "người bệnh
tật" những người nghèo bị các thần ô uế “quấy nhiễu” (Lc 6,18). Sinh vật kỳ
quặc! Con người đó không bao giờ thoả mãn với những khoái cảm xác thịt, cũng
không bao giờ chịu được những đau khổ thân xác! Tại sao con vật ấy, khác với
những sinh vật khác, biết mình giới hạn, tương đối và hữu hạn... vẫn giữ
trong lòng mình khát vọng vô cùng về tuyệt đối? Tại sao lại muốn được hạnh
phúc? Tại sao có khát vọng thánh thiêng ấy?</span></p>

nghèo thật sự, đói khát thật sự, đau khổ thực sự trong thân xác. Trạng ngữ
“bây giờ" mà Luca xác định rất có ý nghĩa. Luca gợi ý rằng sẽ có một sự đảo
lộn tình thế: anh em bây giờ đang khóc, anh em sẽ cười!</span></p>

Giêsu đã không nói cả hai điều đó... ngày hôm đó... hay trong nhiều lần

thì dẫu sao chính cách giải thích của Luca xem ra gần với tư tưởng sâu xa
của Đức Kitô hơn.. Đức Giêsu là Đấng "Mêsia của người nghèo". Chính Người đã
sống khó nghèo; nhiều lần Người đã cho thấy Người thích hướng về phía nào".
Dĩ nhiên, Người đã hiệp thông trong thân xác và trong cảm thức con người với
điều kiện khắc nghiệt của những ai thiếu thốn. Khi chia sẻ thân phận của họ
từ lúc nằm trong máng cỏ cho đến lúc bị đóng đinh, "không có một viên đá để
kê đầu!”, Người đã cảm thấy một trái tim huynh đệ đang đập vì họ. Là Đấng
Mêsia của người nghèo bị Do Thái giáo của giới trí thức Giêrusalem khinh bỉ,
Đức Giêsu đã đau khổ như những "người phận nhỏ" và "cùng với họ" bị những
"người có của" lăng nhục, khinh khi. Oi! sự khinh miệt đáng sợ ấy thường là
vô thức đối với sự nghèo khó. Từ phía những kẻ no nê và cười ngạo nghễ. Vậy
Đức Giêsu hứa hẹn gì với những người nghèo ấy?</span></p>

Thiên Chúa là của họ". Sự khẳng định này là truyền thống, trong toàn bộ Kinh
Thánh. Tương tự như thế, Giêrêmia (17,5-8) trong bài đọc mà chúng ta nghe
hôm nay nói với chúng ta cùng một chân lý: "Đáng nguyền rủa thay kẻ tin ở
người đời, lấy sức phàm nhân làm nơi nương tựa, và lòng dạ xa rời Đức
Chúa... Phúc thay kẻ đặt niềm tin vào Đức Chúa, và có Đức Chúa làm chỗ nương
thân ".</span></p>

chính là tạo ra sự thoả thích hoang tưởng. Người nào tự mãn với của cải trần
thế dần dà sẽ nghĩ rằng mình có thể bỏ qua Thiên Chúa...Trái lại, người
nghèo vốn không: có chỗ nương tựa nơi con người, vì thế được mời gọi hướng
về Thiên Chúa. Chính sự giàu có đặt người giàu vào sự nguy hiểm, khi cất đi
khối người ấy mọi "sự đói khát Thiên Chúa", người ấy bị giam hãm trong "căn
phòng đóng kín" của những hạnh phúc nhỏ bé phàm tục của mình. Bất hạnh của
những người giàu chính là họ đặt cuộc quá thấp và quên rằng chỉ Thiên Chúa
mới có thể lấp đầy khát vọng hạnh phúc vô cùng trong mỗi con người. Ngườí
giàu có tự mãn bị tiền bạc của mình đánh lừa. Đức Giêsu sẽ nói về "tiền bạc,

đây, Người khẳng định, với sự bình thản và mạnh mẽ rằng đau khổ có thể trở
thành nơi xuất hiện một niềm vui mầu nhiệm. Một sự "nhảy múa vui mừng". Ai
có tai để nghe phải hiểu. Vả lại, chúng ta hãy nhận ra sự tinh tế của tư
tưởng ấy: Niềm vui được hứa chỉ khai mở trọn vẹn trong nước Trời... tuy

những kẻ giàu có!")... cũng không có sự lên án (Hỡi những kẻ giàu có? Một
bất hạnh sẽ đến với các người!")... nhưng chỉ là một thứ xác nhận một lời
than thở: "A, giàu có khốn khổ biết bao!" Từ ngữ mà chúng ta dịch là khốn
cho... "' không phải là một tính từ nhưng là một từ thán diễn tả sự đau xót:
than ôi! các ngươi là những người giàu có!" 'Vâng, Đức Giêsu trong một tiếng
kêu đau đớn, than thở cho những kẻ giàu có: Tai hại cho họ biết bao nếu họ
nhắm mắt trước những giá trị chân chính, những giá trị "vượt qua lằn mức"!
Đáng buồn biết bao khi một Người đặt niềm tin của mình vào cái nay còn mai
