Thánh Sử Luca.</span></p>

Thánh Luca muốn cho mọi người thấy Đức Giêsu là một nhân vật có thật
trong lịch sử.</span></i></b><span style="font-size:14.0pt;

letter-spacing:-.3pt">Chính vì thế mà Luca liệt kê ra những nhân vật lịch sử
đang hành quyền lúc Gioan Tẩy giả bắt đầu rao giảng. Trong số những nhân
vật ấy,</span></p>

letter-spacing:-.3pt">- Có những người <b><i>đang</i></b> <b><i>nắm quyền thuộc
lãnh vực chính trị</i></b>, như Hoàng đế Tibêriô, Tổng trấn Phonxiô
Philatô, các Tiểu vương Hêrôđê, Philípphê, Lyxania.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-autospace: none; text-indent: 36px; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif";
letter-spacing:-.3pt">- Có những người <b><i>đang nắm quyền thuộc lãnh vực tôn
giáo</i></b>, như các thượng tế Khanna và Caipha.</span></p>

letter-spacing:-.3pt">Lãnh địa mà họ đang hành quyền vừa là phần đất Do thái
(như Giuđê, Galilê), vừa là phần đất lương dân (như Iturê, Trakhônít,

Khi kê khai ra những nhân vật đang cầm quyền vừa trong lãnh vực tôn giáo
lẫn lãnh vực chính trị, vừa ở đất Do thái vừa ở đất lương dân,</span></i></b><span style="font-size:14.0pt;
font-family:"Times New Roman","serif";letter-spacing:-.3pt">
Thánh Luca <b><i>còn muốn</i></b> nói Đức Giêsu là Đấng Cứu Độ <b><i>phổ
quát,</i></b> chẳng những cho người Do thái mà còn cho mọi dân tộc.
Thiên Chúa là Chúa của mọi người, mọi dân tộc chứ không phải là Chúa của
riêng ai, hay của một dân tộc nào. </span></p>

-.3pt">Một thi sỹ nọ đã sáng tác một bài thơ để giúp chúng ta tránh những tư

-.3pt">Khi chúng ta xin lương thực hằng ngày chúng ta phải hiểu là "cho mọi
người". Bởi lẽ mọi người đều có mặt trong mỗi một và trong tất cả câu
kinh. Từ chữ đầu cho đến chữ cuối, không một chữ nào mang chữ "tôi".</span></p>

-.3pt">- Rất hân hạnh được nghe ngài.</span></p>

-.3pt">Người Kitô hữu đọc được một câu. Vị thiền sư mỉm cười bảo:</span></p>

-.3pt">Thích thú, người Kitô hữu đọc tiếp. Vị thiền sư ngắt lời và nói:</span></p>

Gioan Tẩy giả chính là kẻ Tiền Hô dọn đường cho Chúa.</span></i></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-autospace: none; text-indent: 36px; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif";
letter-spacing:-.3pt"> Vâng! Gioan được kêu gọi “trong sa mạc”, nghĩa là trong
một khung cảnh thinh lặng. Và ông cũng lại lên tiếng trong sa mạc.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36px; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif";letter-spacing:
-.3pt">“Tiếng của người hô trong sa mạc: Hãy dọn đường Chúa, hãy bạt lối Người
đi” (Mt. 3,3)</span></p>

<span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif";letter-spacing:
-.3pt">Tại sao tiếng hô lại được cất lên trong sa mạc chứ không phải là thành
thị, phố xá hay phòng trà, chợ búa, nơi người ta đang quây quần đông đúc
hay đang vui chơi tội lỗi? Tiếng hô phải được cất lên chính những nơi
này mới có người nghe, mới mong có kẻ quay đầu qui chánh, sửa đường bạt
lối, làm nên nẻo chính đường ngay cho Đấng Thiên Sai chứ!</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36px; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif";letter-spacing:
-.3pt">Lạ lùng thật! Gioan sống trong sa mạc và tiếng hô của ông cũng lại vang
lên giữa vùng hoang vắng.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36px; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif";letter-spacing:
-.3pt">Không biết chốn trời không mông quạnh thế kia thì tiếng hô được mấy ai
chú ý. Tiếng hô vang, vang lên mãi... Nhưng trong nơi trống vắng thì ai
nghe cho!</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36px; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<b><i>
<span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif";letter-spacing:
-.3pt">Phải chăng Gioan đã hô lên cho chính mình ông nghe?</span></i></b><span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif";letter-spacing:
-.3pt"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36px; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif";letter-spacing:
-.3pt">Quả đúng như vậy. Trước khi lời kêu gọi: “Hãy dọn đường Chúa, hãy bạt lối
Người đi” đến được với mọi người thì trước tiên lời đó phải đến với
chính Gioan trước.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36px; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif";letter-spacing:
-.3pt">Chính nhờ biết hô với chính mình trước hết nên Gioan đã có sức lôi kéo
từng đoàn người từ khắp xứ Giuđê đến với ông, để nghe tiếng ông hô, và
chịu làm theo lời ông răn dạy. Chính nhờ biết hô cho chính mình mà tiếng
hô của Gioan đã vang đến tận khắp các vùng Giêrusalem, xâm nhập tới cõi
lòng của bao kẻ sa đọa khô khan.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36px; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif";letter-spacing:
-.3pt">Không phải chỉ sau khi nghe tiếng hô của Gioan mới bắt đầu có người ăn
năn hối cải, chịu thanh tẩy để dọn đường cho Chúa đến. Đúng hơn, từ
hoang vắng của sa mạc và trong nơi tịch liêu của cõi lòng, Gioan đã nghe
tiếng hô phát ra: “Hãy dọn đường cho Chúa đến”. Lời đó vang đi dội lại
trong lòng ông, thúc bách ông nối dài tiếng hô bằng cách ra đi “dọn lòng
người cho Chúa đến.”</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36px; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif";letter-spacing:
-.3pt">Cho nên, Gioan chính là người đã dọn đường lòng mình trước nhất. Vì biết
lắng nghe những điều mình hô, nên tiếng hô của mình mới có người đáp
lại. Sự lắng nghe không chỉ bằng thính giác, nhưng còn bằng tâm hồn. Và
từ tâm hồn mới phát sinh những thái độ sống. Một đứa trẻ “biết nghe”
không nhất thiết phải là một đứa trẻ có thính giác tốt, nhưng là một đứa
trẻ biết ghi tâm lời nói của bố mẹ, thầy cô, và mang ra thực hành.</span></p>

-.3pt">Không biết nói hoặc nói điều vô ích mà cứ bắt người khác lắng nghe thì
chỉ tạo nên những cực hình, phản kháng.</span></p>

<span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif";letter-spacing:
-.3pt">Nhiều gia đình bất an, nhiều cộng đoàn bất thuận, nhiều quốc gia bất hoà
chỉ vì có kẻ không biết nói. Nguyên do là thiếu lắng nghe, sự lắng nghe
của tâm hồn. Tâm hồn không nghe được vì còn ngổn ngang đây đó nhiều
chướng ngại của tự ái, ích kỷ, kiêu căng, tự mãn... Nói tới đây tôi nhớ
một câu chuyện. Câu chuyện có liên quan tới một nhân vật lịch sử rất
quen thuộc với nhiều người. Đó là ông Gandhi. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36px; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif";letter-spacing:
-.3pt">Mahatma Gandhi là một vị lãnh tụ chính trị chủ trương bất bạo động, do
vậy ông được mọi người dân An-Độ rất tin cậy quý mến trong mọi việc lớn
nhỏ. Một hôm, có một bà mẹ dắt một bé gái đến, khẩn nài Gandhi thuyết
phục con bà chừa bỏ tật xấu ăn quá nhiều kẹo. Gandhi trầm ngâm hồi lâu
rồi bảo:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36px; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif";letter-spacing:
-.3pt">- Thế này nhé, tôi xin hẹn 3 tuần nữa bà đưa cháu bé trở lại đây, tôi sẽ
nói chuyện với cháu...</span></p>

<span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif";letter-spacing:
-.3pt">Ba tuần sau, người mẹ đưa con trở lại. Lần này Gandhi gọi bé gái đến bên
cạnh và ôn tồn giải thích cho em về những tai hại của thói quen ăn quá
nhiều chất ngọt như kẹo bánh. Em bé gật đầu hiểu ra và hứa sẽ chừa bỏ.
Bà mẹ mừng rỡ, rối rít cám ơn Gandhi, nhưng bà cũng không quên thắc mắc:</span></p>

-.3pt">- Thưa ngài, sao ngài không bảo ngay cho cháu cũng những lời khuyên quý
báu ấy cách đây 3 tuần?</span></p>

-.3pt">Gandhi khiêm tốn thú nhận</span></p>

-.3pt">- Cách đây 3 tuần ư? Lúc ấy chính tôi cũng còn đang mắc phải tật xấu ăn
quá nhiều đồ ngọt...”</span></p>

-.3pt">Gandhi đã ý thức thật rõ: mình còn có tật xấu thì làm sao mà chinh phục
được người khác!</span></p>
