A. Bài Tin Mừng hôm nay thuật lại hai sự việc Chúa đã làm vào lúc khởi
sự cuộc đời công khai của Người.</span></p>

1. Tuyên bố về nội dung sứ vụ của Ngài nơi trần thế.</span></p>

2. Gọi 4 môn đệ đầu tiên.</span></p>

Nếu chỉ nhìn một cách </span><i>

một chút thì chúng ta sẽ thấy chúng có liên hệ rất mật thiết</span></p>

B. Nếu nghiên cứu Tin Mừng mừng một cách </span><i>

nghiêm chỉnh</span></i><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-weight: normal">
thì chúng ta sẽ thấy Chúa xuất hiện không như một chuyên viên làm phép
lạ.</span></p>

nhưng những người được thụ hưởng phép lạ của Chúa thì Marcô nói tới một
con số rất nhiều.</span></p>

Mục đích quan</span><i><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-weight: normal">

trọng nhất và chính yếu</span></i><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-weight: normal">
nhất trong cuộc đời của Chúa là loan báo cho con người một Tin mừng. Và
Tin Mừng này có một nội dung rất rõ rệt đó là Nước Trời, nước Thiên
Chúa.</span></p>

"Nước trời đã gần đến"(Mc 3,2)</span></i></p>

Vào khoảng giữa cuộc đời công khai của Chúa thì Chúa lại bảo: "Nước Trời

Tại sao lại có sự khác biệt trong ba lời loan báo như thế?. </span></p>

Rõ rệt là Chúa muốn nói đến những </span><i>

kết quả</span></i><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-weight: normal">
mà lời rao giảng của Chúa đã đạt được. Những người được nghe rao giảng
đã dần dần hiểu ra rằng Nước Trời mà Chúa rao giảng không phải là một
nước theo kiểu của trần thế mà là một thực tại cao cả hơn, siêu việt
hơn. </span><i>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Nước đó sẽ đem lại cho con người công lý, sự an bình - tình thương - và
hy vọng...nếu con người trở thành công dân trong nước ấy.</span></i></p>

- Sám hối đơn thuần không phải chỉ là một tác động đau lòng ăn năn về
những lỗi lầm tội lỗi của mình. Nếu chỉ dừng lại ở đó thì việc sám hối
mới chỉ là một hành vi có tính cách tiêu cực. Sám hối như thế chưa phải
là sám hối của Tin Mừng.</span></p>

- Sám hối theo tinh thần của Tin Mừng còn phải là một cuộc </span><i>

Tin Mừng dùng chữ </span><i>

- Tin không chỉ là một hành vi chấp nhận một mớ những chân lý của Chúa.
Tin như thế chưa phải là tin đích thực.</span></p>

- Tin còn phải là một cái gì hơn nữa. Tin là đi theo Chúa. Đức Thánh Cha
Gioan Phaolô đệ I bảo</span><i><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-weight: normal">:</span><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">"Tin
là liều mạng theo Chúa"</span></i><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-weight: normal">
Con đường theo Chúa không phải là dễ dàng. Chúa Giêsu đã diễn tả con
đường khó khăn này bằng một khẳng định làm cho nhiều người cảm thấy phải
sợ: "Ai muốn theo Tôi mà không từ bỏ cha mẹ, nhà cửa, vợ con và cả mạng
sống mình thì không xứng đáng là môn đệ của Tôi".(Lc 14,26) Đòi hỏi gắt
gao thật. Một cách nào đó nó cho chúng ta thấy tích cách nghiêm chỉnh
của vấn đề.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-weight: normal">
+ Chúng ta cứ nhìn vào cuộc đời của 4 môn đệ đầu tiên của Chúa chúng ta
sẽ thấy điều đó.</span></p>

- 4 môn đệ mà Tin Mừng hôm nay kể tên là những </span><i>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
môn đệ đặc biệt</span></i><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-weight: normal">.
Ngoại trừ Andrê, còn thì ba người kia là Phêrô, Gioan và Giacôbê là 3
môn đệ có thể nói là </span><i>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
"ruột"</span></i><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-weight: normal">
của Chúa. Ba người này </span><i>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
gần gũi Chúa một cách đặc biệt</span></i><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">.</span><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-weight: normal">
Chúa cũng tỏ ra </span><i>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
ưu ái cách riêng với bộ ba này</span><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-weight: normal">.</span></i></p>

<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-weight: normal">
- Thế nhưng thử hỏi con đường theo Chúa đối với họ có dễ dàng hay không?</span></p>

<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-weight: normal">
Tin Mừng cho chúng ta thấy con đường theo Chúa thực </span><i>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
không dễ dàng chút nào cả. </span></i>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-weight: normal">
Có rất nhiều trường hợp Chúa buồn với bộ ba này.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-weight: normal">
Lúc đầu khi mới theo Chúa, cái chất "người" trong họ còn rất cao. Chúa
phải rất vất vả lắm mới cải tạo được họ. Đôi khi Chúa cũng cảm thấy buồn
vì họ.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm">

* Gioan và Giacôbê thì Chúa gán cho họ cái biệt danh là</span><i><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-weight: normal">

<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
"con của sấm sét".</span></i></p>

* Còn Phêrô thì có lần Chúa đã rủa là </span><i>

"Đồ Satan"</span><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-weight: normal">.</span></i></p>

- Con đường Chúa chinh phục những con người này quả là một quá trình
nhọc mệt và vất vả. Có lần Chúa đã phải than</span><i><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-weight: normal">:</span><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">"không
biết Thầy còn phải ở với chúng con cho đến bao giờ nữa?"(Mt 17,17)</span></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-weight: normal">
- Bằng việc</span><i><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-weight: normal">
</span>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
kêu gọi</span></i><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-weight: normal">
họ Chúa đã làm cho các môn đệ của Chúa dần dần biết lìa xa đầu óc trần
thế. Nghiên cứu Tin Mừng chúng ta sẽ thấy rõ điều đó.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm">

- Rồi bằng </span><i>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
cuộc sống cũng như lời dậy</span></i><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-weight: normal">
nhất là bằng chính cái chết và sự phục sinh của Ngài, Ngài đã làm cho họ
thuộc hẳn về Ngài để cuối cùng họ đã</span><i><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-weight: normal">
</span>
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
liều mạng vì Ngài, dám chết cho Ngài</span><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-weight: normal">.</span></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-weight: normal">
Như vậy chúng ta thấy con đường mà các môn đệ của Chúa đi vào để trở
thành những công dân ưu tú của Nước trời, làm tông đồ của Chúa không
phải là con đường nào xa lạ. Đó cũng là con đường có tên là sám hối và
Tin vào Chúa. Các Tông đồ đã xoay lưng lại với danh - lợi - thú của của
trần gian để tìm đến với Chúa, quay về với Chúa. Và sau khi đã quay về
với Chúa họ đã để cho Chúa</span><i><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
biến đổi</span></i><span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-weight: normal">
cuộc đời của họ, làm cho họ trở nên những con người mới -những con của
Thiên Chúa. Và bằng đời sống dấn thân quảng đại với niềm tin yêu vô hạn
vào Chúa họ đã trở thành những chứng nhân sống động cho Ngài....và họ đã
được lịch sử ca ngợi là những con người "đã làm thay đổi cả lịch sử nhân
loại và làm cho bộ mặt của địa cầu đẹp hơn".</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-weight: normal">
C. Vâng kính thưa anh chị em,</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm">
<span lang="NL" style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-weight: normal">
Đó là câu chuyện của ngày xưa...nhưng xưa không có nghĩa là nó chỉ còn
tồn tại như một kỷ niệm mà như một tấm gương cho hậu thế. Giáo Hội đã
rất có lý khi nói rằng: "Các tông đồ là nền tảng của Giáo Hội". Đây
không phải là một nền tảng bằng đá, bằng bêtông cốt sắt mà là bằng cuộc
đời và sự nghiệp các Ngài để lại. Cuộc đời của các tông đồ của Chúa
Giêsu vẫn còn là tấm gương cho những thế hệ tiếp theo, mai sau và mãi
mãi. Cuộc đời các Ngài vẫn còn là tấm gương cho chúng ta. Các Ngài đã
cho chúng ta biết thế nào là hy sinh, thế nào là quên mình, thế nào là
từ bỏ, thế nào là tin, thế nào là một cuộc đời có ý nghĩa. Các Ngài cũng
dạy cho chúng ta biết làm cách nào để "cướp" được Nước trời. Đó chính
biết liều mạng để đi theo Chúa.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm">

Vào một buổi chiều năm 1953 các ký giả và một số nhân viên chính phủ tụ
tập nhau lại tại một nhà ga xe lửa ở Chicago để chào mừng người vừa được
