đề Chúa nhật thứ I mùa Vọng là “Hãy tỉnh thức chờ đợi Chúa đến”. Chúa sẽ
đến là một điều chắc chắn, nhưng trước khi Chúa đến, mọi sự phải được
chuẩn bị sẵn sàng. <span class="apple-converted-space"> </span>Ngay từ
thế kỷ thứ 6, tiên tri Isaia đã hô hào cho dân chúng hãy sửa đường cho
Chúa đến (bài đọc I). Sau này, Gioan Tẩy giả xuất hiện, cũng tiếp nối sứ
vụ tiền hô ấy, ông cũng khuyên mọi người như Isaia xưa :”<i>Có tiếng hô
trong hoang địa : Hãy dọn sẵn con đường của Đức Chúa, sửa lối cho thẳng
để Ngài đi”.</i><u1:p></u1:p></span></p>

Theo Gioan Tẩy giả, sửa đường chính là sám hối, là canh tân cuộc sống
của mình để xứng đáng đón nhận Chúa đến trong ngày Ngài quang lâm và
nhất là trong ngày sau hết của đời mình.<u1:p></u1:p></span></p>

Thời nô lệ của Israel đã chấm dứt, Thiên Chúa tha thứ tội lỗi cho dân.
Ngày xưa vì đã phản bội Giao ước, đã phản bội Chúa nên Thiên Chúa đã cho
họ bị lưu đầy. Nay dân Chúa đã biết hối lỗi, Thiên Chúa ân<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span> xá
cho họ và sẽ đưa họ về quê cha đất tổ. Việc loan báo này được coi như là

tha thiết gì đến việc dọn đường cho Chúa. Nhưng thánh Phêrô cho biết sở
dĩ Chúa chậm đến là vì Ngài nhẫn nại, ban thêm thời gian cho kẻ tội lỗi

đến để đem đến trời mới đất mới, nơi công lý ngự trị. <span class="apple-converted-space"> </span>Còn
việc phải làm ngay trong lúc này là mọi người phải sống thánh thiện để
đón chờ Chúa đến :”<i>Trong khi mong đợi ngày đó, anh em phải cố gắng
sao cho Ngài thấy anh em tinh tuyền, không chi đáng trách và sống bình

Messia mà Cựu ước loan báo chính là Đức Giêsu, Ngài sẽ đến. Nhưng trước
khi Ngài đến cần có người đến trước chuẩn bị. Đó là Gioan Tẩy giả, ông
đến dọn đường cho Ngài. Ông đã chọn nơi cô tịch nơi hoang địa để thi
hành sứ vụ, nhằm tránh xa chốn ồn ào của thành phố, giúp cho lời nói của
ông được người đời nghe rõ hơn và dễ thấm nhập nơi nội tâm con người.</span></p>

cũng lặp lại lời tiên tri Isaia hô hào cho dân chúng thực hiện :”<i>Có

hoang địa, hãy dọn đường cho Chúa đến</i>”. <span class="apple-converted-space"> </span>Ông
thực sự là tiền hô rao giảng sự thống hối chờ đợi Chúa đến. <span class="apple-converted-space"> </span>Qua
nếp sống gương mẫu của ông, từng đoàn người kéo đến bờ sông Giordan chịu
phép rửa tỏ lòng sám hối để được ơn tha tội.<u1:p></u1:p></span></p>

nay, kinh tế phát triển mạnh, giao thông là yếu tố quan trọng trong việc
phát triển kinh tế của một nước. Muốn cho giao thông tốt phải có đường
tốt, muốn có đường tốt thì phải sửa chữa và bảo trì như : đường bộ,
đường hàng hải hay đường hàng không. Sửa đường là một việc thường xuyên
phải thực hiện để giao thông được dễ dàng.<u1:p></u1:p></span></p>

đường vật lý</b><span class="apple-converted-space"> </span>là những con
đường làm bằng vật chất mà ta phải xử dụng hằng ngày để sự giao thông
vật chất được dễ dàng. Những con đường này rất nhiều, rất đa dạng, ở đâu
cũng có. Chỗ nào không có đường thì giao thông bị bế tắc.<u1:p></u1:p></span></p>

đường tinh thần</b><span class="apple-converted-space"> </span>là con
đường vô hình trong việc giao lưu giữa con người với con người . <span class="apple-converted-space"> </span>Đây
chỉ là con đường vô hình, siêu vật chất nhưng cũng có lúc bị tắc nghẽn
hay bị cắt đứt làm cho sự giao lưu giữa con người gặp khó khăn ví dụ :
hai người ngồi gần kề nhau mà vẫn thấy nghìn trùng xa cách.<u1:p></u1:p></span></p>

đường thiêng liêng</b><span class="apple-converted-space"> </span>là con
đương vô hình , siêu vật chất nối kết tâm hồn ta với thần linh, nối kết
linh hồn<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span> ta với Thiên Chúa.
Con đường này cũng có khi bị tắc nghẽn làm cho chúng ta khó liên hệ với
Chúa, ví dụ người luôn ở trong tình trạng phạm tội nhẹ hay ở trong tình
trạng ơ hờ lạnh nhạt đối với Chúa. Cũng có thể con đường này bị cắt đứt
trong tình trạng con người phạm tội trọng. làm cho ta không đến được với
Chúa và Chúa không đến với ta.<u1:p></u1:p></span></p>

đường thiêng liêng của chúng ta cũng có thể bị tắc nghẽn hay gián đoạn
bởi thung lũng, núi đồi, khúc quanh co, đường lồi lõm. Tình trạng con
đường bị tắc nghẽn nhiều hay ít là do từng người, và mỗi người chúng ta
phải sửa chữa để đến với Chúa.<u1:p></u1:p></span></p>

Chúa. Gioan rao giảng kêu gọi mọi người sám hối. Ai nghe lời ngài giảng
mà sám hối thì được ngài làm phép rửa. Nhưng phép rửa của ngài chỉ có
tính cách giúp người ta thống hối, sửa soạn cho việc tha tội, chứ không
phải là một bí tích như phép rửa Chúa Giêsu sẽ thiết lập sau này.<u1:p></u1:p></span></p>

qua đi mà tôi chưa thay đổi được một người nào. Lúc đó, tôi mới cầu
nguyện với Thượng Đế : lạy Chúa, <span class="apple-converted-space"> </span>xin
cho con được biến cải tất cả <span class="apple-converted-space"> </span>những
người con gặp gỡ hằng ngày, nhất là gia đình con, bạn bè con. Và như vậy
là đủ cho con mãn nguyện rồi.<u1:p></u1:p></span></p>

trên đầu ngón tay, tôi mới nhận thức rằng tôi đã khờ dại biết chừng nào.
Giờ này, tôi chỉ biết cầu nguyện như sau : lạy Chúa, xin ban cho con
được thay đổi chính con.<u1:p></u1:p></span></p>

thay đổi</i>”. Cuộc cách mạng đầu tiên mà bất cứ vị thánh nào cũng khởi

thế kỷ 12, tệ đoan lan tràn khắp nơi, các phe phái quá khích nổi lên,
nhiều người phê bình chỉ trích các nhà lãnh đạo Giáo hội vì cuộc sống
phản chứng của các ngài. Lúc đó thánh Phanxicô Assisi xuất hiện. <span class="apple-converted-space"> </span>Ngài
không chỉ trích ai, nhưng ý thức rằng kẻ phải ăn năn sám hối trước tiên
là chính ngài. Ngài không khoe khoang, không tham lam, không giả hình,
nhưng cố gắng sống nghèo khó, bác ái, phục vụ, khoan dung. Lý tưởng của
thánh Phanxicô <span class="apple-converted-space"> </span>chẳng mấy
chốc đã được nhiều người chia sẻ. <span class="apple-converted-space"> </span>Giáo
hội được hồi sinh, nhiều tâm hồn được đổi mới. Mùa xuân thiêng liêng
được nở rộ nhiều thế kỷ kế tiếp.<u1:p></u1:p></span></p>
