Tabor, gần Djebel Dahin. Naim không cách Sunem bao xa, nơi mà tiên tri
Êlidê đã làm cho con bà chủ nhà trọ sống lại. Gần làng, về phía đông,
người ta đã khoét vào núi những lỗ sẵn dùng để chôn cất. Naim, một thành
nhỏ chỉ có một cửa để đi về đồng quê và ra nơi chôn cất.</font></span></p>

<font size="4">So sánh với câu truyện sống lại kể trong 1V 18, 17-24 và 2V 4, 18-36 do
tiên tri Êlia và tiên tri Êlidê, ta thấy có một sự khác biệt căn bản.
Hai tiên tri Êlia và Êlidê đã khẩn khoản nài xin Thiên Chúa rất nhiều và
làm nhiều cử động biểu tượng. Còn Chúa Giêsu chỉ phán có một lời, không
cầu, không xin, chỉ ra có một lệnh, tức khắc chàng thanh niên sống lại.</font></span></p>

lầm thầm kín của tôi làm cho Chúa giết chết con tôi’. Vị tiên tri nói
với bà: Đem nó lại đây. Rồi ông bế lấy đứa nhỏ khỏi tay mẹ nó, đem lên
phòng cao nơi ông ở và đặt nó trên giường. Ông kêu cầu Đức Chúa rằng:
"Lạy Đức Chúa, Thiên Chúa của con. Chúa nỡ hại cả bà goá đã cho con ở
nhờ, mà làm cho con bà ấy phải chết sao?" Ba lần ông nằm lên trên đứa
trẻ, và kêu cầu Đức Chúa rằng: "Lạy Đức Chúa, Thiên Chúa của con, xin
cho hồn vía đứa trẻ này lại trở về với nó!" Đức Chúa nghe tiếng ông Êlia
kêu cầu, hồn vía đứa trẻ trở về với nó, và nó sống. Ông Êlia liền bồng
đứa trẻ từ phòng trên xuống nhà dưới, trao cho mẹ nó, và nói: "Bà xem,
con bà đang sống đây!" Bà nói với ông Êlia: "Vâng, bây giờ tôi biết ông
là người của Thiên Chúa, và lời Đức Chúa do miệng ông nói ra là đúng."</font></span></p>

nói với chồng: "Này ông! Tôi biết người thường ghé vào nhà chúng ta là
một thánh nhân của Thiên Chúa. Mình phải làm cho ông một căn phòng nhỏ
trên lầu có tường có vách, rồi kê ở đó một cái giường, đặt bàn ghế và để
một cái đèn cho ông dùng. Như thế, khi nào đến nhà mình, ông sẽ lui vào
đó." Một hôm, ông đến nơi ấy, ông lui vào phòng trên lầu và nghỉ ở đó.
Ông nói với Giê-kha-di, tiểu đồng của ông: "Đi gọi bà Su-nêm." Nó đi gọi
bà và bà đến trước mặt nó. Ông Êlidê bảo nó: "Hãy nói với bà ấy: Bà đã
quá lo lắng bận rộn vì chúng tôi. Chúng tôi biết phải làm gì cho bà đây?
Có cần chúng tôi phải nói một lời với đức vua hay với tướng chỉ huy quân
đội cho bà không?" Bà trả lời: "Tôi sống yên hàn giữa dân tôi." Ông
Êlidê nói với tiểu đồng: "Nên làm gì cho bà ấy?" Giê-kha-di đáp: "Tội
nghiệp, bà ấy không có con trai, mà chồng thì đã già." Ông Êlidê bảo:
"Đi gọi bà ấy." Nó đi gọi bà, và bà ấy đến đứng ngoài cửa. Ông Êlidê
nói: "Vào thời kỳ này, vào độ này sang năm, bà sẽ được bế con trai." Bà
mới nói: "Không, thưa ngài, người của Thiên Chúa, xin đừng lừa dối nữ tỳ
ngài!" Quả nhiên, bà ấy có thai, và năm sau, vào thời kỳ, vào độ mà ông
Êlidê đã nói, thì bà sinh con trai. Đứa trẻ lớn lên. Một ngày kia, khi
đi kiếm cha nó ở giữa những người thợ gặt, nó nói với cha: "Ôi, cái đầu
con! Cái đầu con!" Người cha bảo anh đầy tớ: "Bồng nó về cho mẹ nó."
Người tớ trai bồng nó, đem về cho bà mẹ. Đứa trẻ ngồi trên đầu gối bà
đến trưa, rồi nó chết. Bà đem nó lên đặt trên giường dành cho người của
Thiên Chúa, đóng cửa lại, để nó ở trong rồi đi ra. Bà đi gọi chồng và
nói: "Xin ông sai đến tôi một anh đầy tớ và một con lừa cái. Tôi chạy
đến người của Thiên Chúa, rồi sẽ về." Người chồng bảo: "Tại sao bà lại
đi gặp ngài ngày hôm nay? Không phải là ngày đầu tháng, cũng chẳng phải
là ngày sa-bát." Nhưng bà trả lời: "Ông cứ yên tâm!" Rồi bà cho thắng
lừa và nói với anh đầy tớ: "Hãy đưa tôi đi và lên đường! Chỉ dừng xe lại
khi tôi bảo." Bà lên đường và đi đến với người của Thiên Chúa ở núi
Các-men. Vừa thấy bà đằng xa, người của Thiên Chúa nói với Giê-kha-di,
tiểu đồng của ông: "Kìa bà Su-nêm. Con hãy chạy ra đón và nói với bà ấy:
"Bà có được mạnh khoẻ không? Ông nhà có được mạnh khoẻ không? Cậu bé có
được mạnh khoẻ không?" Bà trả lời: "Vâng, mạnh khoẻ cả." Khi đến gần
người của Thiên Chúa ở trên núi, bà ôm lấy chân ông. Giê-kha-di tiến
tới, đẩy bà ra, nhưng người của Thiên Chúa bảo: "Để yên cho bà ấy, vì
tâm hồn bà đang phải cay đắng. Đức Chúa đã giấu ta điều ấy, Người không
cho ta biết." Khi ấy, bà nói: "Nào tôi có xin ngài cho tôi được đứa con
đâu? Tôi đã chẳng nói: "Xin đừng đánh lừa tôi, đó sao?" Ông Êlidê bảo
Giê-kha-di: "Hãy thắt lưng, cầm gậy của ta mà đi! Gặp ai thì đừng có
chào, ai chào thì đừng đáp lại. Ngươi sẽ đặt gậy của ta trên mặt cậu
bé." Mẹ cậu bé nói: "Có Đức Chúa hằng sống và có ngài đang sống đây, tôi
xin thề sẽ không rời xa ngài." Ông trỗi dậy và đi theo bà. Giê-kha-di đã
đi trước hai người và đặt gậy trên mặt cậu bé; nhưng không nghe thấy
tiếng, không thấy động đậy. Anh ta quay lại đón ông Êlidê và trình ông:
"Cậu bé đã không thức dậy." Khi ông Êlidê tới nhà thì cậu bé đã chết,
nằm trên giường của ông. Ông đi vào chỗ cậu bé, đóng cửa lại, chỉ có hai
người ở bên trong, rồi cầu nguyện với Đức Chúa. Ông lên giường nằm lên
trên đứa trẻ, kề miệng ông trên miệng nó, kề mắt ông trên mắt nó, đặt
bàn tay ông trên bàn tay nó. Ông cứ nằm trên đứa trẻ, da thịt nó nóng
lên. Ông đi đi lại lại trong nhà, rồi lại lên nằm trên nó; cậu bé hắt
hơi đến bảy lần, và mở mắt ra. Ông Êlidê gọi Giê-kha-di và bảo: "Đi gọi
bà Su-nêm." Nó đi gọi bà; bà đến với ông, ông nói: "Bà hãy đem con đi!"</font></span></p>

<font size="4">Chúa Giêsu Kitô là người được Thiên Chúa sai đến: “Sau khi phán dạy
nhiều lần, nhiều cách qua các Tiên Tri, "nay là thời cuối cùng, Thiên
Chúa đã nói với chúng ta qua Chúa Con" (Dth 1,1-2). Thực vậy, Ngài đã
sai Con Ngài là Ngôi Lời vĩnh cửu, Đấng sáng soi mọi người, đến sống
giữa loài người và nói cho họ nghe những điều kín nhiệm nơi Thiên Chúa
(x. Gio 1,1-18). Bởi vậy, Chúa Giêsu Kitô, Ngôi Lời nhập thể "là người
đã được sai đến với loài người", "nói tiếng nói của Thiên Chúa" (Gio
3,34) và hoàn thành công trình cứu rỗi của Chúa Cha đã giao phó cho Ngài
thực hiện (x. Gio 5,36; 17,4). Vì thế, chính Ngài, Đấng mà ai thấy, tức
là thấy Chúa Cha (x. Gio 14,9), đã đến bổ túc và hoàn tất mạc khải, bằng
tất cả sự hiện diện và tỏ mình qua lời nói cũng như việc làm, dấu chỉ và
phép lạ, nhất là qua cái chết và sự sống lại vinh quang từ kẻ chết, sau
cùng bằng việc phái Thần Chân Lý đến, bằng chứng tích của một Thiên
Chúa, Ngài xác nhận Thiên Chúa hằng ở với chúng ta để giải thoát chúng
ta khỏi bóng tối tội lỗi và sự chết, rồi phục sinh chúng ta để được sống
đời đời.</font></span></p>
