Bài đọc I và bài Tin mừng hôm nay kể lại hai câu chuyện khá giống
nhau. Câu chuyện con trai của bà goá ở Sarepta chết được Êlia cứu
sống ở bài đọc thứ nhất và trong bài Tin mừng kể lại câu chuyện con
trai của bà goá thành Naim chết được Chúa Giêsu cứu sống. Chúng ta
lần lượt tìm hiểu và rút ra bài học cho chúng ta hôm nay.</font></div>

đang trú ngụ tại gia đình này. Bà chủ nhà cho rằng, tại vì Êlia mà

người Do thái rằng: chết chưa phải là hết, nếu người ta biết cầu xin
Thiên Chúa thì Người có thể cho kẻ chết được sống lại. Phép lạ này
cũng giúp ông Êlia thoát khỏi tình cảnh oan ức, đồng thời tăng thêm
uy tín cho nhà Tiên tri đối với mọi người.</font></span></p>

ông Êlia là « người của Thiên Chúa » vì hiệu quả của lời cầu nguyện
ông cầu xin. Trong cuộc sống thường ngày, chúng ta luôn phải cố gắng
sống làm sao để người khác nhận ra Chúa ở nơi chúng ta. Người ta có
thể nhận ra chúng ta qua đời sống cầu nguyện, qua niềm tin của chúng
ta vào Thiên Chúa, qua đời sống công bằng, bác ái yêu thương. Chính
Chúa Giêsu đã từng nói: « </font></span><font size="4" face="Times New Roman"><span lang="FR" style="line-height: 21px"><i>Cứ
dấu này mà người ta nhận ra các con là môn đệ của Thầy đó là các con

thương có nhiều cách thế: có thể bằng một nụ cười, một cái bắt tay,
một lời hỏi thăm, một lời động viên, một sự thăm viếng, một sự hy
sinh giúp đỡ trong công việc khi tha nhân cần, một chút quà tặng cho
người thiếu thốn...Đặc biệt, chúng ta hãy thể hiện tình thương bằng
lời cầu nguyện: cầu nguyện cho người còn sống cũng như kẻ đã qua
đời. Làm được như vậy, người khác mới nhận ra chúng ta là «<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><i>người
của Thiên Chúa »<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></i></span></font></span><span lang="FR" style="line-height: 21px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif">như
ông Êlia ngày xưa.</span></font></p>

<font size="4" face="Times New Roman">Cũng như câu chuyện thứ nhất
trong bài đọc I, chúng ta cũng không biết được nguyên nhân cái chết
của con trai bà goá thành Naim. Thánh Luca chỉ kể lại việc người ta
đang đưa đi chôn xác con trai của bà goá. Chính vào thời điểm này,
Chúa Giêsu và các Tông đồ cùng đám đông cũng đến đó. Hai bên gặp
nhau. Thái độ của Chúa Giêsu được Thánh Luca tường thuật lại rất rõ
ràng:</font></span></p>

tang. Ngài trông thấy bà goá. Vào thời điểm đó, có rất nhiều người
cũng trông thấy đám tang, trông thấy bà goá. Trong cuộc sống, có lẽ
nhiều khi chúng ta cũng trông thấy những trường hợp tương tự như
thế. Nhưng chúng ta cũng như những người đi cùng Chúa Giêsu, chỉ
dừng lại ở việc « trông thấy » thôi. Còn Chúa Giêsu thì thế nào?</font></span></font></span></font></p>

lòng thương :”<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></i></b></span></font><font size="4" face="Verdana" style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><span lang="FR" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 21px"><font size="4" face="Times New Roman"><span lang="FR" style="line-height: 21px">chạnh
lòng thương là cụm từ chỉ dùng cho Thiên Chúa khi Người muốn biểu lộ
tình thương đối với dân Người. Chúng ta cũng đã bắt gặp cụm từ này
trong phép lạ hoá bánh ra nhiều. Khi thấy đám đông không người chăn
dắt, Chúa Giêsu<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><i>"Chạnh
lòng thương"</i>(x. Mc 6,34). Còn đối với con người, trong những
trường hợp tương tự, người ta có thể dùng cụm từ<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><i>"động
lòng trắc ẩn."</i><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Nhưng
sống trong xã hội vô cảm như ngày hôm nay, hiếm khi con người<i>"Động
lòng trắc ẩn"</i><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>trước
nỗi khổ của anh chị em mình. Hằng ngày, người ta vẫn thấy rất nhiều
biến cố đau thương xảy ra trước mắt nhưng người ta vẫn thờ ơ, lãnh
đạm. Mới đây, trên mạng xã hội có loan truyền câu chuyện với hàng
tít:<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><i>“Bao nhiêu người
vô cảm lướt qua em bé bị chiếc xe Camry đâm.”</i><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Em
bé bị tai nạn giao thông như vậy. Bao nhiêu người « Trông thấy »
nhưng họ đã đi qua. Thậm chí, có những người được mời gọi giúp đỡ,
nhưng họ vẫn không nhận lời. Họ không có lòng trắc ẩn. Còn Chúa,
thấy người đàn bà goá, Chúa<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><i>"Chạnh
lòng thương."</i><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Vì<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><i>"Chạnh
lòng thương"</i><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>cho nên

cha mẹ phải hứa với em bé điều gì đó. Chẳng hạn:<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><i>"Đừng
khóc nữa, cha mẹ sẽ cho con đi chơi"</i><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>hay<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><i>"Đừng
khóc nữa, cha mẹ sẽ mua quần áo mới cho con ..."</i><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Với
Chúa Giêsu, Ngài nói<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><i>“đừng
khóc nữa”</i><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>vì Ngài
biết việc Ngài sắp làm là gì để yên ủi bà, giúp bà thoát khỏi cảnh

đây là một bước nhảy vọt của lòng thương xót. Vì thương xót nên Ngài
mới tiến lại gần. Rồi, Ngài « đụng đến quan tài », tức là đụng đến
thân xác người chết. Đó lại là một cử chỉ thể hiện lòng thương xót.
Chúa Giêsu thương xót người đàn bà. Ngài thương xót con trai của bà
đã chết. Vì thương xót nên Ngài muốn làm gì đó để giúp đỡ họ. Thế
rồi, Ngài làm một việc quá sức tưởng tượng của con người.</span></font></span></p>

là một phép lạ lớn lao. Khi chứng kiến phép lạ này, mọi người đều
kinh sợ. Họ kinh sợ, vì theo Tin Mừng của Thánh Luca, đây là lần đầu
tiên, Chúa Giêsu làm phép lạ cho kẻ chết sống lại. Đi liền với sự
kinh hãi là tâm tình ca ngợi Thiên Chúa. Vì họ xác tín rằng, chỉ có
Thiên Chúa mới có thể thực hiện được sự lạ lùng ấy.</span></font></p>

quyền năng của Chúa Giêsu. Đồng thời, phép lạ này cũng nói lên lòng
thương xót của Ngài đối với con người, cụ thể ở đây là người đàn bà
goá. Ngoài ra, phép lạ này là một dấu hiệu về sự phục sinh kẻ chết.
Sau này, Chúa Giêsu đã tự Ngài sống lại. Đồng thời, Ngài là có thể
làm cho mọi người được sống lại trong vinh quang.</font></span></p>

ra do lòng tin của bản thân ai đó hoặc của tha nhân. Nhưng nơi phép
lạ này, Chúa Giêsu chủ động mọi sự, Ngài không hề đòi hỏi bất cứ
điều kiện nào, bởi vì Ngài</font></span><font size="4" face="Times New Roman"><span lang="FR" style="line-height: 21px"><i>“chạnh
lòng thương.”</i></span></font><font face="Verdana" style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="4"><span lang="FR" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 21px"><font size="4" face="Times New Roman"><span lang="FR" style="line-height: 21px"><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Đây
là bài học cho mỗi người chúng ta. Trong cuộc sống, chúng ta luôn
đối diện với những trường hợp tương tự, noi gương Chúa Giêsu, chúng
ta phải biết động lòng trắc ẩn, biết quan tâm giúp đỡ. Sự quan tâm
giúp đỡ có đôi lúc phải vô điều kiện, nhất là những khi tha nhân gặp
sự khốn khó mà chính bản thân họ không có điều kiện để đền đáp cho
ta. Chúa Giêsu đã từng nói:<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><i>“Nếu
anh em làm ơn cho kẻ làm ơn cho mình, thì còn gì là ân với nghĩa?”<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></i>(x.
Lc 6,33). Chính Thánh Phaolô cũng đã từng<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><i>« Đem
Tin Mừng biếu không »<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></i>(x.
1Cr 9,18). Trong bài đọc II hôm nay, sau khi cho biết, Tin mừng Ngài
rao giảng không phải phát xuất từ con người mà do mạc khải từ Thiên
Chúa, thánh Phaolô khẳng định:<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><i>« Rao
giảng Tin mừng là trách nhiệm của Ngài đối với dân ngoại »</i></span></font></span><span lang="FR" style="line-height: 21px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif"><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>(x
Gl 1,16). Ước gì mỗi chúng ta cũng có được tâm tình như Thánh
Phaolô, coi việc loan báo Tin mừng là trách nhiệm và nhiệt tâm chu
toàn công việc đó một cách vô vị lợi.</span></font></p>
