Năm bị một tên côn đồ, thuộc diện xã hội đen do người hàng xóm thuê
mướn, xông đến gây sự và chặt đứt cánh tay. Anh kinh hoàng tột độ, vô
cùng đau đớn và tiếc nuối. Anh ngã xuống và ngất đi. Thế là từ đây, anh
bị mất đi một phần thân thể quan trọng, từ đây anh trở thành người cụt
tay, một người tàn phế… </span></p>

Thiên Chúa rất đau lòng khi ta phạm tội </span></p>

font-weight:normal;font-style:normal">Nỗi đau thương của anh Năm, người bị cắt
đứt mất cánh tay trong vụ xung đột trên đây, nói lên phần nào nỗi đau
thương khôn nguôi của Thiên Chúa khi Người đánh mất chúng ta là một chi
thể rất yêu quý của Người.</span></p>

ta được tháp nhập vào Thân Thể Chúa Giê-su và trở nên một chi thể của

font-weight:normal;font-style:normal">Thánh Phao-lô cũng nhắc nhở chúng ta nhìn
nhận sự thật quan trọng nầy: "Nào anh em chẳng biết rằng thân xác anh em
là phần thân thể của Đức Ki-tô sao?" (I Cr 6, 15)</span></p>

font-weight:normal;font-style:normal">Thế nhưng tội trọng như một nhát dao ác
nghiệt cắt lìa chúng ta khỏi thân mình Chúa, gây ra một hậu quả kép rất
đau thương: Về phía mình, chúng ta trở nên như cành nho lìa cành, như
bàn tay đứt lìa cơ thể; về phần Chúa, Người trở thành “khuyết tật” vì
mất một phần cơ thể rất thân thương!</span></p>

font-weight:normal;font-style:normal">Như bàn tay lìa thân thì phải hư thối và
phải chết thế nào thì Người tội lỗi tách lìa Thiên Chúa cũng gánh lấy
hậu quả tương tự: họ trở nên hư hỏng, mất đi phẩm chất cao đẹp và đánh
mất sự sống thiêng liêng được Thiên Chúa thông ban từ ngày lãnh bí tích
Thánh Tẩy.</span></p>

font-weight:normal;font-style:normal">Hậu quả nầy được Chúa Giê-su minh họa bằng
hình ảnh đứa con út hoang đàng trong tình trạng đói rách thảm hại, ngày
ngày sống giữa đàn heo bẩn thỉu và cầu mong được ăn bớt phần của heo
nhưng chẳng ai cho. (Lc 15, 14-16) </span></p>

font-weight:normal;font-style:normal">Như bàn tay bị cắt lìa thân không thể hoạt
động và không mang lại lợi ích gì cho thân thể thì người tội lỗi cũng
không thể lập được công đức gì, cho dù có làm được những việc to tát lớn
lao. Theo thánh Phao-lô thì khi ở trong tình trạng tội lỗi, dù có nói
được các thứ tiếng của loài người và thiên thần, có nói tiên tri và biết
nhiều điều bí nhiệm, có chuyển núi dời non hay đem hết gia tài cơ nghiệp
mà bố thí hoặc nộp cả thân xác để chịu thiêu đốt… thì cũng chẳng đạt
được ơn phúc gì. (Cô-rinh-tô 13, 1-3)</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif"> </span></p>

Thiên Chúa rất mừng vui khi người tội lỗi trở lại với Người </span></p>

font-weight:normal;font-style:normal">Trở lại phần cuối câu chuyện anh Năm bị
cắt đứt lìa cánh tay trên đây.</span></p>

font-weight:normal;font-style:normal">Khi phát hiện ra anh Năm nằm bất tỉnh bên
cạnh cánh tay đứt lìa, những người hàng xóm tốt bụng vội chạy đến cứu
anh. Người thì tìm cách cầm máu và khử trùng các vết thương; người khác
cấp tốc gọi xe cấp cứu chuyển anh đến bệnh viện chuyên khoa tận Sài gòn,
với hy vọng là nếu đến kịp bệnh viện trong vòng 7 tiếng đồng hồ thì các
bác sĩ có thể ráp nối lại cánh tay cho anh được.</span></p>

font-weight:normal;font-style:normal">May thay, anh đã được cứu chữa kịp thời.
Các bác sĩ giỏi đã ráp nối lại cánh tay cho anh, ghép lại xương, nối lại
mạch máu và chăm sóc chu đáo.</span></p>

0cm;margin-left:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-align:justify;text-indent:36.0pt;

font-weight:normal;font-style:normal">Sau hai tháng điều trị, anh xuất viện và
cánh tay anh có thể hoạt động bình thường. Bấy giờ anh Năm cảm thấy rằng
chẳng có niềm vui nào trong đời lớn hơn niềm vui có lại cánh tay tưởng
như đã mất. </span></p>

font-weight:normal;font-style:normal">Niềm vui có lại được cánh tay của anh Năm
cũng diễn tả đúng niềm vui của Thiên Chúa khi có người tội lỗi ăn năn
hối cải trở lại với Người. </span></p>

font-weight:normal;font-style:normal">Niềm vui đó được Chúa Giê-su diễn tả qua
Tin Mừng hôm nay như sau: Người cha sai bảo các tôi tớ: “Mau đem áo đẹp
nhất ra đây mặc cho cậu, xỏ nhẫn vào ngón tay, xỏ dép vào chân cậu, rồi
đi bắt con bê đã vỗ béo làm thịt để chúng ta mở tiệc ăn mừng! Vì con ta
đây đã chết mà nay sống lại, đã mất mà nay lại tìm thấy. Và họ bắt đầu
ăn mừng.” </span></p>

font-weight:normal;font-style:normal">Chúa vô cùng đau đớn khi chúng con phạm
tội trọng xa lìa Chúa và Chúa quá đỗi mừng vui một khi chúng con sám
hối, ăn năn trở lại với Ngài.</span></p>

font-weight:normal;font-style:normal">Khi phạm tội xa lìa Chúa, xin giúp chúng
con mau mau quay lại với Ngài như cánh tay đứt lìa phải được cấp tốc
tháp nối lại với thân mình để Chúa khỏi đau buồn tiếc nuối vì mất đi một
chi thể thân thương và để chúng con không trở thành “cánh tay chết” vì
