Người ta đề cập rất nhiều về tình yêu, nhưng có lẽ không mấy ai hiểu
cho đúng tình yêu là gì. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36px; margin-top: 18px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Ngay cả thi sĩ Xuân Diệu, người được xem là thi sĩ của tình yêu, có
những cảm nhận rất tinh tế về tình yêu và tâm lý con người, nhưng cũng
thú nhận là không thể giải nghĩa được tình yêu. Ông viết: </span></p>

khi con người không lý giải được tình yêu thì có lẽ phải viện tới Trời.
Vì thế, Hàn Mặc Tử, một nhà thơ tài hoa công giáo, khuyên chúng ta - qua
bài "Đà Lạt trăng mờ" - như sau:</span></p>

"Và để xem Trời giải nghĩa yêu!" Đúng vậy, Thiên Chúa là Tình Yêu. Tình
Yêu là bản chất của Thiên Chúa nên chỉ có Thiên Chúa mới biết thế nào là
yêu và chỉ có Ngài mới có đủ thẩm quyền để "giải nghĩa yêu".

<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Chúa Giê-su "giải nghĩa yêu" khi bày tỏ cho ông Ni-cô-đê-mô biết: "Thiên
Chúa đã yêu thương thế gian đến nỗi <b><i>đã ban Con Một Người</i></b>
để tất cả những ai tin vào Con của Người thì không phải hư mất nhưng
được sống đời đời" (Ga 3,16).</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36px; margin-top: 18px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Chúa Giê-su cũng đã "giải nghĩa yêu" khi Ngài nói: "Không có tình yêu
nào cao cả hơn tình thương của người đã <b><i>hy sinh tính mạng</i></b>
vì bạn hữu mình." (Ga 15, 13)</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36px; margin-top: 18px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Thế là ý nghĩa của tình yêu giờ đây đã được sáng tỏ: yêu thương là trao
ban, là hy sinh, là cống hiến, là cho đi... </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36px; margin-top: 18px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Thiên Chúa Cha yêu thương thế gian nên đã <b><i>trao ban Người Con Một
</i></b>cho thế gian; Chúa Giê-su đã yêu thương thế gian nên Ngài đã <b>
<i>hy sinh tính mạng</i></b> cho thế gian.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36px; margin-top: 18px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Nhưng Chúa Giê-su không chỉ giải nghĩa yêu bằng những lời hoa mĩ. Ngài
thể hiện lòng yêu thương qua cuộc sống. Tin Mừng hôm nay cho biết rằng:
"Ngài vốn yêu thương những kẻ thuộc về mình còn ở thế gian, và Ngài yêu
thương họ đến cùng.. Ngài đứng dậy, rời bàn ăn, cởi áo ngoài ra, và lấy
khăn thắt lưng. Rồi Đức Giê-su đổ nước vào chậu, bắt đầu rửa chân cho
các môn đệ và lấy khăn thắt lưng mà lau." (Ga 13, 1.4-5). </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36px; margin-top: 18px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Thế mới hiểu rằng:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36px; margin-top: 18px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Yêu là hạ mình làm tôi tớ người khác, là "đổ nước vào chậu, bắt đầu rửa
chân cho các môn đệ và lấy khăn thắt lưng mà lau."</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36px; margin-top: 18px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Yêu là bẻ thân mình làm bánh trao ban cho bạn: "Nầy là Mình Thầy sẽ bị
nộp vì các con."</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36px; margin-top: 18px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Yêu là rót máu mình như rượu hiến ban cho người khác được sống còn: "Nầy
là Máu Thầy sẽ đổ ra cho các con và nhiều người được tha tội."</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36px; margin-top: 18px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Yêu là nộp mình chết thay cho người mình yêu thương được sống: "Thà một
người chết thay cho dân còn hơn là để toàn dân phải bị tiêu diệt" (Ga
11, 50).</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36px; margin-top: 18px; margin-bottom: 0">

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36px; margin-top: 18px; margin-bottom: 0">

Lạy Chúa Giê-su, </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36px; margin-top: 18px; margin-bottom: 0">

Thế ra lâu nay chúng con đã ngộ nhận rất nhiều về tình yêu.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36px; margin-top: 18px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Chúng con tưởng rằng yêu là say mê, là khai thác, là chiếm đoạt đối
tượng mình yêu mến.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36px; margin-top: 18px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Hôm nay, nhờ bài học yêu thương Chúa dạy, chúng con mới hiểu rằng tình
yêu đúng nghĩa là hy sinh, là quên mình để phục vụ, là cống hiến không
ngừng cho tha nhân được hạnh phúc; và câu tỏ tình hay nhất, chân thật
nhất, ý nghĩa nhất trên cõi đời nầy là câu tỏ tình của Chúa trong bữa
tiệc ly:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36px; margin-top: 18px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
"Nầy là Mình Thầy sẽ bị nộp vì các con... Nầy là chén Máu Thầy sẽ đổ ra
cho các con và nhiều người được tha tội." </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36px; margin-top: 18px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">Và
hôm nay, khi mời gọi "các con hãy làm việc nầy mà nhớ đến Thầy", Chúa
tha thiết kêu mời chúng con hãy yêu nhau theo cách yêu của Chúa; Chúa
muốn chúng con nói lời yêu thương theo cách thức Chúa đã tỏ bày, nghĩa
là: </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36px; margin-top: 18px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Nầy là thời giờ của tôi, sức lực tôi, tim óc tôi, xin hy sinh vì bạn.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 36px; margin-top: 18px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
Nầy là thân xác tôi, trọn cuộc sống tôi, xin cống hiến cho cha mẹ, cho
người bạn đời, cho con cái và cho tha nhân."</span></td></tr><tr>
