"Con không chỉ cầu nguyện cho những người nầy, nhưng còn cho những ai nhờ
lời họ mà tin vào con, để tất cả nên một, như, lạy Cha, Cha ở trong con và
con ở trong Cha để họ cũng ở trong chúng ta. Như vậy, thế gian sẽ tin rằng
Cha đã sai con" (Ga 17, 20-21).</span></p>

Tại một vùng núi nọ, người ta truyền tụng cho nhau câu chuyện
nầy : Ngày xưa, có hai thầy dòng quyết tâm nên thánh bằng cách chọn con
đường ẩn tu. Để thực hiện việc nầy, cả hai thầy lên núi, tìm hai hang động
cách xa nhau làm chỗ dung thân để qua hết cuôc đời trong thinh lặng và kết
hợp với Chúa. Để cuôc sống ẩn tu đạt kết quả cao, và để khỏi bận tâm, chia
trí về những "sự thế gian", cả hai quyết định, hang ai nấy ở, mỗi người môt
không gian riêng, một thế giới riêng, không liên hệ, không giao tiếp với
nhau và với mọi người… Rồi năm tháng qua đi. Cả hai chết lúc nào không ai
biết. Hai hang động trở thành hoang phế. Thời gian sau đó, có hai tên cướp
bị săn đuổi, đã thay tên, đổi họ, lần mò trốn lên núi nầy để ẩn danh tìm
chút bình an cho cuộc sống thừa. Gặp được hai cái hang hoang lạnh của người
xưa, cả hai nẩy sinh sáng kiến : chọn nơi đây làm chốn dừng chân để sám hối
và làm lại cuôc đời. Thế là cả hai dọn sạch hang cũ và bắt đầu cuộc sống mới
của những người "ẩn tu bất đắc dĩ." Chỉ khác với hai thầy dòng trước một
điều là cả hai quyết định làm một con đường nối liền hai hang để thường
xuyên qua lại, thăm viếng, giúp đỡ, ủi an …Dần dà, dọc theo con đường nối
hai hang đã mọc đầy hoa, xung quanh hang động cảnh trí phô đầy sức sống và
vẻ đẹp. Hai tên cướp năm nào giờ đây đã trở thành hai vị ẩn tu hiền lành,
thánh thiện, đến nổi hương thơm thánh đức lan toả khắp vùng khiến nhiều
người cất công lên núi để xin "Hai Thầy" cầu nguyện và hưóng dẫn đạo đức…Và
rồi, hai "thầy tướng cướp ẩn tu" đó qua đời. Vì đời sống thánh thiện và vì
có những phép lạ xảy ra cho một số người lên núi cầu xin, nên dân chúng vùng
đó "tự động" phong thánh cho hai "thầy cướp ẩn tu" nầy…</span></p>

Huyền thoại "Hai cái hang của thánh ẩn tu" trên sẽ dẫn chúng ta
vào câu chuyện sắp chia sẻ hôm nay : Đức Ki-tô xây dựng sự hiệp nhất. Bởi
vì "hiệp nhất, hiệp thông, tình huynh đệ cộng đoàn" đó chính là con đường
thích hợp nhất, chắc chắn nhất để giúp mỗi người đạt được ơn cứu độ, nên
thánh, (giống như con đường nối liền hai cái hang của hai tên cướp ẩn tu
!!!). </span></p>

Từ sau biến cố "nguyên tổ phạm tội", nhân loại đã đánh mất tương
quan thân tình với Thiên Chúa và huynh đệ với anh em đồng loại. Kể từ đó,
nghi ngờ, đố kỵ ghen ghét, hận thù, bất công, chiến tranh, khủng bố…tràn lan
trên mặt đất.</span></p>

đều bị tội lỗi thống trị. Như có lời chép rằng :Không ai là người công
chính, dẫu một người cũng không; chẳng ai có lương tri, chẳng ai kiếm tìm
Thiên Chúa. Người người đã lìa xa chính lộ, chỉ biết theo nhau làm chuyện
suy đồi; chẳng có một ai làm điều thiện, dẫu một người cũng không…Chúng
nhanh chân đi đổ máu người ta, đi tới đâu cũng gieo tai rắc hoạ…" (Rm 3,
9-16).</span></p>

"Đừng sợ, vì có Ta ở với ngươi, từ phương đông, Ta sẽ đem dòng giống ngươi
về, và từ phương tây, Ta sẽ thâu họp ngươi lại" (Is 43,5).</span></p>

nở" (Gr 23, 3).</span></p>

Ta sẽ thâu họp chúng từ khắp tứ phía. Ta sẽ đem chúng về tại thửa đất của
chúng. Ta sẽ làm cho chúng nên một dân tộc mà thôi ở trong xứ, trên núi non
của Ít-ra-en…"(Ez 37, 21-22). </span></p>

1. Hiệp nhất loài người : Mục tiêu của cuộc đời Đức Ki-tô</span></p>

"Tôi chính là mục tử nhân lành. Tôi biết chiên của tôi và chiên của tôi biết
tôi, như Chúa Cha biết tôi và tôi biết Chúa Cha, và tôi hy sinh mạng sống
mình cho chiên. Tôi còn có những chiên khác không thuộc ràn nầy. Tôi cũng
phải đưa chúng về. Chúng sẽ nghe tiếng tôi. Và sẽ chỉ có một đoàn chiên và
một mục tử." (Ga 10, 14-16).</span></p>

"Tôi nói cho các ông hay : Từ phương đông phương tây, nhiều người sẽ đến dự
tiệc cùng các tổ phụ Áp-ra-ham, I-xa-ác và Gia-cóp trong Nước Trời" (Mt 8,
11; x. Mt 22, 1-14).</span></p>

Điều đó, ông không tự mình nói ra, nhưng vì ông là thượng tế năm ấy, nên đã
nói tiên tri là Đức Giê-su sắp phải chết thay cho dân, và không chỉ thay cho
dân mà thôi, nhưng còn để qui tụ con cái Thiên Chúa đang tản mác khắp nơi về
một mối (Ga 11, 51-52).</span></p>

sùng đạo từ các dân thiên hạ trở về. Nghe tiếng ấy, có nhiều người kéo đến.
Họ kinh ngạc vì ai nấy đều nghe các ông nói tiếng bản xứ của mình… (x.Cv 2,
1-41).</span></p>

bánh, và cầu nguyện…Tất cả tín hữu hợp nhất với nhau, và để mọi sự làm của

"thợ xây dựng hiệp nhất", có lẽ chúng ta nên ghi nhận những thực trạng của
Giáo Hội, của thế giới, của cộng đoàn trong đời sống"hiệp nhất".</span></p>

v Trên bình diện Hội Thánh :Có một điều chúng ta không thể phủ nhận :
Sau hai ngàn năm, ước nguyện "hiệp nhất" của Đức Ki-tô xem ra vẫn còn đang ở
phía trước. Chính vì thế mà Đức Thánh Cha G.P II, trong tông thư "Tiến tới
thiên niên kỷ thứ ba" đã kêu gọi Dân Công Giáo nỗ lực sám hối và hoán cải về
tội "phá hỏng sự hiệp nhất" :</span></p>

Trong số những tội lỗi đòi phải có một nỗ lực sám hối và hoán cải đặc biệt
hơn, hiển nhiên phải kể đến những tội phá hỏng sự hiệp nhất mà Thiên Chúa
muốn có nơi dân của Người. Qua những ngàn năm đã qua, kể cả ở ngàn năm thứ
nhất, mối hiệp thông Giáo Hội "đôi khi bởi lỗi lầm của thành phần nầy hay
thành phần khác" đã bị xé rách một cách đớn đau, điều đó rõ ràng đi ngược
lại với ý muốn của Đức Ki-tô và là một cớ vấp phạm cho thế giới. Không may,
những tội lỗi của quá khứ đó vẫn còn đè nặng và hiện nay chúng vẫn còn đó
như những cám dỗ. Cần phải thú nhận tội lỗi công khai và thiết tha khẩn cầu
Chúa Ki-tô tha thứ"(TNK 34; x. Sắc lệnh Hiệp Nhất số 3).</span></p>

v Trên bình diện thế giới : Cho dù người ta nói "chiến tranh lạnh đã
chấm dứt", thì thế giới vẫn hằng ngày chứng kiến bao tang tóc, ly loạn, hận
thù, phân biệt chủng tộc, tranh giành đất đai, quyền lợi kinh tế, áp đặt ý
thức hệ, đàn áp tự do…Thế giới nầy quả thật còn lâu mới tiến đến cái viển
tượng "Họ sẽ đúc gươm đao thành cuốc thành cày, rèn giáo mác nên liềm nên
hái. Dân nầy nước nọ không còn vung kiếm đánh nhau, và thiên hạ thôi học
nghề chinh chiến…"(Is 2, 4), "Bấy giờ sói sẽ ở với chiên con, beo nằm bên dê
nhỏ" (Is 11, 4) mà sứ ngôn I-sai-a đã ước mơ và tiên báo !</span></p>

v Trên bình diện cộng đoàn : Điều nầy thì chỉ có các thành viên trong
cộng đoàn mới cảm nhận trọn vẹn. Có một điều cần lưu ý đó là : Cộng đoàn
cũng chỉ là một tập thể mang đầy những yếu tố bất toàn của thân phận nhân
loại. Chính vì thế, đừng có ai nuôi một ảo tưởng là sẽ tìm thấy nơi cộng
đoàn một đời sồng hoàn toàn tốt đẹp, "trên dưới thuận hoà", chan hoà hiệp
nhất…Cha Adrian Van Kaam C.S.Sp đã phân tích cái tâm lý "thất vọng vì cuộc
sống cộng đoàn không như mình tưởng" như là một "tình trạng chuyển cảm" mà
các tu sĩ vẫn thường gặp :</span></p>

Khi tôi là một tập sinh, thỉnh sinh hay thanh tuyển, tôi sống tuần trăng mật
với tu hội tôi. Tôi đồng hóa nó với toàn thiện, toàn chân, toàn mỹ. Tôi
đang trải qua một thời kỳ chuyển cảm thần tượng hoá. Sau đó, khi tôi lớn hơn
và đi vào các công việc của tu hội, tôi khám phá muôn vàn khiếm khuyết, sự
thất bại của con người và những giới hạn đáng buồn vốn nhất thiết gắn liền
với định chế nhân loại, ngay cả trong Hội Thánh. Lúc đó tôi cảm thấy đau đớn
của tan vỡ, sự sụp đổ của tình trạng lý tưởng hoá. Tôi trải qua tình trạng
tiêu cực trong đời sống tôn giáo…Giai đoạn nầy được đặc trưng bằng một nhận
thức gần như ám ảnh về các khuyết điểm và yếu đuối của tu hội, về kế hoạch,
bề trên và các thành viên của nó. Vào những lúc đó, tôi chẳng thấy điều gì
tốt đẹp; mọi sự cũng như mọi người đều xem ra như sai lầm, lệch lạc. Tôi cảm
thấy chán ngán đời sống tôn giáo hiện có và tưởng mình đã bị đánh lừa vào
giai đoạn thần tiên của nhà thử, nhà tập. Có lúc, không hiểu được ý nghĩa và
mục đích của giai đoạn chuyển cảm tiêu cực nầy, tôi bị cám dỗ bỏ dòng, bỏ ơn

Hội một cách trọn vẹn. Đức Cha F.X Nguyễn Văn Thuận, trong bài suy niệm 16
"Hội Thánh là hy vọng của bạn", đã khai triển chiều kích nầy trong khi nhắc
lại những lời cuối cùng trước lúc lìa đời của Thánh Nữ Tiến sĩ Tê-rê-sa

ngưỡng mộ Hội Thánh, chúng ta trở nên thật mù quáng và u mê. Nếu miệng chúng
ta không nói về Hội thánh, thì tốt hơn là nên im tiếng đi." (Chứng nhân Hy

cách suy nghĩ, cách nói năng và cách hành động, khiến Giáo Hội vững tiến
theo chiều sâu và chiều rộng. Hẳn thật đời sống hiệp thông trở nên một dấu
chỉ đối với thế gian và trở thành một sức thu hút đưa đến việc tin nhận Chúa

thật sự nếu không có tình yêu thương nhau vô điều kiện…Điều đó thực hiện
được nhờ tình yêu thương nhau giữa các thành viên trong cộng đoàn, một tình
yêu được nuôi dưỡng bằng Lời và bằng Thánh Thể, được tinh luyện bằng Bí tích
Hoà giải, được nâng đỡ bằng lời cầu nguyện cho sự hiệp nhất, là ân huệ mà
Chúa Thánh Thần trao ban cho những ai biét lắng nghe và vâng theo Tin Mừng"

Kết :Trong lịch sử của Hội Thánh, đời sống thánh hiến luôn là một chứng từ
sống động và là sự đóng góp và hữu hiệu cho "ước nguyện hiệp nhất" của Chúa
Giê-su. Riêng trong đời sống cộng đoàn, chiều kích "hiệp nhất" luôn phải là
ưu tiên hàng đầu mà mỗi người phải ý thức, ra công tập luyện, và can đảm
thực hành. Có hiệp nhất trong cộng đoàn, hiệp nhất với nhau, chúng ta mới có
khảnăng trở thành "chuyên gia" đi xây dựng hiệp nhất trên mọi nẽo đường của
Giáo Hội. Cuộc "hành trình hiệp nhất" mãi mãi là con đường nhiêu khê, đòi
hỏi hy sinh, khiêm nhượng, yêu thương và đón nhận, (cho dù đôi lúc phải cắn
răng mà đón nhận như đón nhận một thứ "Mùi cọp"!).</span></p>
