là người thầm lặng và vâng phục. Thánh nhân đã mang lấy trọng trách về lời

Người đàn ông này, con người có tên Giuse ấy, con người mơ mộng ấy, đã có
thể chấp nhận trách nhiệm ấy, có thể đón nhận kế hoạch lớn lao. Con người ấy
có rất nhiều điều để nói với chúng ta trong thời đại này, một thời đại với
cảm giác mãnh liệt về sự mồ côi. Thánh nhân đã nhận lấy lời hứa của Thiên
Chúa, đã đón lấy lời lứa ấy trong thinh lặng và can đảm, và rồi đưa lời hứa
đến chỗ hoàn thành như Thiên Chúa muốn.</span></p>

Thánh Giuse là người có thể nói cho chúng ta nhiều điều bằng một thứ ngôn
ngữ không lời. Ngài là con người ẩn dật, thầm lặng. Ngài cho thấy thẩm quyền
được thể hiện mạnh nhất ngay khi dường như không thấy. Những gì Thiên Chúa
trao phó cho tâm hồn của thánh nhân, dường như là “những thứ rất yếu đuối”.
Đó là những lời hứa và lời hứa ấy tỏ ra rất yếu ớt. Sau đó, một trẻ thơ chào
đời, cuộc trốn chạy sang Aicập, đó là những hoàn cảnh khó khăn và yếu đuối.
Thế mà thánh nhân đã mang lấy tất cả trong trái tim mình, và ra sức thực
hiện những gì yếu hèn ấy với tất cả sự hiền từ nhân hậu, sự hiền từ ẵm lấy
một trẻ thơ.</span></p>

Con người Giuse ấy, người đàn ông ấy không nói nhưng đã vâng phục. Ngài là
con người của sự hiền lành, người có khả năng thực hiện lời hứa, có khả năng
làm cho lời hứa thành khả tín thành chắc chắn và đảm bảo cho việc hoàn thành
lời hứa ấy. Thánh nhân trở thành người bảo vệ cho sự vững bền của Nước Thiên
Chúa. Thánh nhân trở thành cha nuôi của Con Một Thiên Chúa. Tôi thích nghĩ
về thánh Giuse là Đấng bảo trợ những ai yếu hèn, và ngay cả Ngài bào chữa
cho những yếu đuối của chúng ta. Để rồi chúng ta có thể ra khỏi những yếu
đuối và tội lỗi, mà làm nảy sinh biết bao điều tốt đẹp.</span></p>

Thánh Giuse là Đấng gìn giữ những ai yếu đuối, để họ có thể trở nên vững
mạnh trong đức tin. Nhiệm vụ này Ngài đã nhận được ngay từ trong giấc mơ.
Ngài là người có khả năng mơ ước. Ngài là người bảo vệ giấc mơ của Thiên
Chúa. Ước mơ của Thiên Chúa là cứu độ tất cả chúng ta, là cứu chuộc chúng
ta. Thánh nhân ôm lấy ước mơ của Thiên Chúa vào cuộc đời mình. Người thợ mộc
vĩ đại này! Ngài là người lặng thầm, luôn làm việc, luôn giữ gìn bảo bọc,
mang lấy những gì là yếu đuối và Ngài là con người có khả năng mơ ước.</span></p>

Hôm nay, cha mời gọi tất cả chúng ta hãy có khả năng mơ ước, bởi vì khi
chúng ta mơ ước những gì cao đẹp, những gì tốt lành, chúng ta sẽ tiến gần
hơn đến ước mơ của Thiên Chúa, tiến gần hơn đến những gì Thiên Chúa mơ ước
nơi mỗi người chúng ta. Các bạn trẻ hãy có khả năng mơ ước, hãy có khả năng
mang lấy những khó khăn thách đố gặp phải trong những ước mơ ấy. Nguyện xin
cho tất cả chúng ta lòng tin ngày thêm lớn mạnh trong sự âm thầm bé nhỏ. </span></p>
