thế, nhưng chết lа khу khăn lớn nhất trong những vấn nạn của con người,
nhưng Chъa Kitф đг chiến thắng cбi chết! Nhờ đу cбi chết của con người
khфng cтn như trước nữa, một điều gм đу đг quyết định vа đг thay đổi.
Chết đг bị đбnh mất nọc độc của nу, như con rắn bị lấy đi nọc độc thм nу
chỉ cтn khả năng lаm cho nạn nhвn mк đi một lъc, chứ khфng cу thể giết
chết nạn nhвn được. Kinh Thбnh nуi: “Hỡi tử thần, đвu lа chiến thắng của
ngươi? Hỡi tử thần, đвu lа nọc độc của ngươi (1 Cr 15,55)?</span></p>

Nhưng Chъa Giкsu đг chiến thắng sự chết như thế nаo? Người đг khфng chạy
trốn cбi chết, nhưng Người đг chiến thắng sự chết như một kẻ thщ bị đẩy
lщi. Người đг chiến thắng bằng việc chấp nhận chịu chết. Người đг niếm
trải tất cả mọi sự cay đắng của cбi chết nơi mмnh. Người đг chiến thắng
sự chết từ bкn trong, chứ khфng phải từ bкn ngoаi. “Khi cтn sống kiếp
phаm nhвn, Đức Giкsu đг lớn tiếng kкu van khуc lуc mа dвng lời khẩn
nguyện nаi xin lкn Đấng cу quyền năng cứu Người khỏi chết” (Hr 5,7).
Thật vậy, chъng ta cу một thượng tế đг biết cảm thương về nỗi sợ chết
của chъng ta. Người biết rất rх chết lа gм! Ba lần trong Tin Mừng chъng
ta đọc: Chъa Giкsu đг khуc vа hai lần Người khуc trước nỗi đau đối với
người chết. Trong vườn Dầu, Chъa Giкsu đг sống cho đến tận cщng kinh
nghiệm nhвn loại trước cбi chết. “Người bắt đầu lo sợ vа bồn chồn,” Tin
Mừng kể.</span></p>

Giкsu đг chết như chъng ta, như một người đi qua một ngưỡng cửa tới nơi

niềm trong cậy vững vаng vаo Chъa Cha mа Người đг kкu lкn: “Lạy Cha, con

khфng cтn chết cho mмnh, hay cho chъng ta mẫu gương như cбi chết anh
hщng của Socrate. Người đг lаm rất khбc: “Một người đг chết thay cho mọi
người… Đức Kitф đг chết thay cho mọi người” (2 Cr 5,14.15). “Đức Giкsu
đг phải nếm sự chết, lа để cho mọi người được cứu độ, nhờ ơn Thiкn Chъa”
(Hr 2,9).</span></p>

1 Cr 6,19tt). Chъng ta cу thể đảo lại: những gм thuộc về Đức Kitф thм
thuộc về chъng ta hơn cả những gм của chъng ta. Sự chết của Người thuộc
về chъng ta hơn cả cбi chết chъng ta. “Dщ cả thế gian nаy, sự sống, sự
chết, hiện tại hay tương lai, tất cả đều thuộc về anh em, mа anh em
thuộc về Đức Kitф, vа Đức Kitф lại thuộc về Thiкn Chъa” (1 Cr 3,22tt).
Cбi chết của Người lа của chъng ta hơn cả cбi chết của chъng ta. Trong
Chъa Kitф, chъng ta đг chiến thắng sự chết.</span></p>

mang lại cho cho chъng ta sự can đảm để đуn nhận cбi chết trước nỗi sợ
hгi kinh hoаng về cбi chết, nhờ niềm tin vаo cбi chết vа sự phục sinh
của Chъa Kitф. Chъa Giкsu đг đến để giải phуng con người khỏi nỗi sợ hгi
khiếp khủng của cбi chết. Con Thiкn Chъa đг cщng mang lấy huyết nhục như
chъng ta, “nhờ cбi chết của Người, Người đг tiкu diệt tкn lгnh chъa gвy
ra sự chết, tức lа ma quỷ, vа đг giải thoбt những ai vм sợ chết mа suốt
đời sống trong tмnh trạng nф lệ” (Hr 2,14-15).</span></p>
