Sau khi thбnh nữ Francesca Romana qua đời vаo năm 1440, thi
thể của bа khфng phвn hủy trong vаi thбng. Nhưng ngаy nay
thi thể chỉ cтn xương. Giбo hội Cфng giбo tin rằng cơ thể
cбc vị thбnh khфng phвn hủy sau khi họ qua đời, bởi đу lа
một phйp mаu mа Chъa ban cho họ. Mặc dщ vậy, thi thể của
nhiều vị thбnh "bất hoại" chỉ cтn tồn tại dưới dạng bộ
