giáo xứ - khi có người xin lễ cầu cho ai- thì trong bản tin mục vụ
của giáo xứ có ghi rõ ngày giờ và tên người được hưởng ý lễ.. Cho nên,
linh mục nào dâng lễ ngày ấy thì phải cầu nguyện theo ý chỉ. Linh mục
cũng được khuyến khích nhắc ý lễ hôm nay cầu cho ai để người xin lễ được
an tâm là lễ mình xin đã được làm .Nhưng không có luật buộc phải rao tên
như vậy, mà chỉ có luật buộc phải làm lễ theo ý chỉ ( mass intentions)
để được hưởng bổng lễ ( Mass stipend) của người xin mà thôi. ( x giáo
luật số 945).</span></font></p>

việc bề ngoài như kéo chuông, thắp thêm đèn nến trong nhà thờ và rao tên
của người xin lễ, thì hoàn toàn không ảnh hưởng gì đến việc Chúa ban ơn
thánh của Người cho ai được hưởng ý lễ, vì ơn Chúa không bao giờ có
thể mua được bằng tiền bạc và những hình thức phô trương bên ngoài như
người ta vẫn quen làm ở nhiều nơi trong Giáo Hội địa phương. Xin nhớ
kỹ điều này để đừng ai lầm tưởng rằng nếu bỏ nhiều tiền ra xin lễ, mời
thêm linh mục đồng tế và kéo chuông inh ỏi thì được nhiều ơn Chúa hơn là
thánh lễ chỉ có một linh mục làm âm thầm, vì người xin lễ không có nhiều
tiền để mời nhiều linh mục đồng tế. Bổng lễ ( mass stiends) tức tiền
xin lễ chỉ có mục đích đãi ngộ cho linh mục dâng lễ chứ không có giá
trị xin ơn Chúa vì ơn thánh của Chúa là vô giá và nhưng không (
invaluable and gratuitous), nghĩa là không thể mua được bằng tiền bạc
hay bất cứ của châu báu nào ở trần gian này .</span></font></p>

thương, rất nhân từ và hay tha thứ, nhưng cũng rất công minh khi phán
đoán và ban ơn thánh của Chúa cho con cái loài người.</span></font></p>

người khi còn sống đã thực tâm yêu mến Chúa, yêu mến tha nhân và sống
theo đường lối của Chúa, thì dù khi chết không có ai xin lễ cầu cho, và
ngay cả không được phép đưa xác vào nhà thờ ( như đã xảy ra ở một địa
phương kia bên nhà) vì không thân quen với cha xứ, thì cũng không hề
thiệt thòi gì, vì đời sống của mình đã đủ để Chúa đoái thương ban phúc
trường sinh. Ngược lại, một người khi còn sống đã hoàn toàn khước từ
Thiên Chúa để chạy theo những lợi lãi của trần gian, không thi hành
bác ái thương giúp ai, thì khi chết dù cho thân nhân có bỏ ra hàng
triệu đồng để xin lễ, mời mấy chục linh mục đồng tế và có cả giám mục
dự lễ và tiễn đưa ra tận nghĩa trang thì cũng vô ích mà thôi.Chắc chắn
như vậy.</span></font></p>

trọng đối với người tín hữu chúng ta là khi còn sống hãy lo cho phần rỗi
của mình bằng quyết tâm bước đi theo Chúa Kitô là <b>“</b> <b><span style="color: rgb(192, 0, 0)">con
Đường, là sự Thật và là sự Sống</span>”</b> ( Ga 16:6) để xa tránh mọi
sự dữ và tội lỗi đến từ ma quỉ và thế gian. Nghĩa là “ <b><span style="color: rgb(192, 0, 0)">hãy
lo tìm Nước Thiên Chúa , còn các thứ khác</span></b> <b><span style="color: rgb(192, 0, 0)">Người
sẽ thêm cho</span></b>.” ( Lc 12: 21) để không chạy theo những lôi cuốn
tội lỗi của thế gian mà tôn thờ tiền của và mọi thú vui vô luân vô
đạo, thay vì phải yêu mến Chúa trên hết mọi sự. Có xa tránh được những
cạm bẫy trên thì mới có thể nâng tâm hồn lên tới Chúa là cội nguồn của
mọi vinh phúc, giầu sang ở nơi mà , “ <b><span style="color: rgb(192, 0, 0)"> mắt
chưa hề</span></b> <b><span style="color: rgb(192, 0, 0)">thấy, tai
chẳng hề nghe , lòng người chưa hề nghĩ đến</span></b>, <b><span style="color: rgb(192, 0, 0)">đó
là điều</span></b> <b><span style="color: rgb(192, 0, 0)">Thiên Chúa đã
dọn sẵn cho những ai yêu mến Người</span></b>.” ( 1 Cor: 9) như thánh
Phaolô đã dạy.</span></font></p>

can đến việc xin lễ cầu cho người sống hay người đã ly trần, xin nói lại
một lần nữa là việc rao tên của người được hưởng ý lễ không phải là
điều bắt buộc theo giáo lý và giáo luật của Hội Thánh.Mình xin lễ cầu
cho ai thì Chúa đã biết việc tốt mình làm và sẽ ban ơn cho người đáng
hưởng lợi ích của Thánh lễ. . Còn linh mục có nhớ cầu xin theo ý lễ đã
dâng hay không thì đó là trách nhiệm của linh mục. Nếu nhận ý lễ mà
không dâng lễ theo ý người xin, thì linh mục có lỗi trước mặt Chúa và
không được phép hưởng bổng lễ đó. Nhưng Chúa vẫn ban ơn theo ý người
xin thể theo lòng nhân từ thương xót và công bằng của Chúa như đã nói ở
trên. Nghĩa là nếu người đã ly trần khi còn sống đã chọn Chúa làm gia
nghiệp để thực tâm yêu mến Người, và yêu thương tha nhân như Chúa dạy,
thì dù cho không có ai cầu nguyện hay xin lễ cầu cho, thì cũng không
thiết thòi gì vì đời sống trần gian của người đó đã xứng đáng để hưởng
lòng thương xót công minh của Chúa.</span></font></p>

trong suốt cuộc đời mình trên trần thế- đã chọn thế gian với những vui
thú lợi lãi vô luân vô đạo, thay vì chọn Chúa là nguồn hạnh phúc thực
sự, thì <b>“<span style="color: red">cây nghiêng chiều nào sẽ đổ chiều
đó</span></b>”, và cho dù thân nhân còn sống có bỏ ra hàng triệu đôla
để xin “<b>lễ đời đời</b>” ở các “nơi buôn thần bán thánh” thì cũng vô
ích mà thôi. Chắc chắn như vậy. Nước Thiên Đàng và phần rỗi của con
người không bao giờ có thể mua được bằng tiền của, hay vàng bạc, kim
cương đá quí của trần gian.</span></font></p>

<font face="Arial"><span style="line-height: 18.4px">Nhưng, nếu ai có
lòng tốt, dâng cúng tiền bạc để giúp xây nhà thờ , nhà Dòng, nhà hưu
dưỡng hay nhà nuôi trẻ mồ cô, khuyết tật, thì việc bác ái này tự nó đã
có giá trị thiêng liêng trước mặt Chúa rồi, và Chúa sẽ trả công bội hậu
cho người có lòng bác ái thực sự đó. Phải nói là có lòng bác ái thực sự
để phân biệt với những người bỏ công giúp của chỉ vì muốn được tiếng
là rộng lượng hảo tâm, nhưng thực chất là muốn khoe khoang, và chuộng hư
danh vì được đề cao, khen tặng trong Cộng Đoàn , Giáo Xứ.</span></font></p>

nữa, việc có nhiều linh mục hay có cả Hồng Y giám mục dâng lễ và tiễn
đưa ra tận nghĩa trang thì cũng không hề ảnh hưởng gì đến việc Chúa ban
ơn cho người còn sống hay đã lìa đời. Vậy nơi nào hứa hẹn “đặc ân” này
cho ai dâng cúng tiền rộng lượng để xây nhà thờ, nhà nguyện, chủng viện,
dòng tu…thì chỉ có giá trị trần thế đối với các ân nhân của mình, chứ
không dính dáng gì đến việc Chúa ban ơn như đã nói ở trên. Vậy đừng ai
lầm tưởng là lễ tang của thân nhân mình có đông linh mục đồng tế, hay có
Giám mục chủ tế và tiễn đưa ra nghĩa trang thì chắc được nhiều ơn Chúa
hơn ai không được vinh dự này trước mặt người đời.</span></font></p>

<font face="Arial"><span style="line-height: 18.4px">Tóm lai, cầu
nguyện và xin lễ là những việc lành có giá trị thiêng liêng rất cao,
đáng khuyết khích trong Giáo Hội. Nhưng không thể coi đây là bảo đảm
phần rỗi cho những ai không đóng góp phần cộng tác của mình vào ơn cứu
độ mà chỉ trông nhờ người khác làm thay cho mình ,bằng cách bỏ nhiều
tiền ra để “ mua bảo hiểm đời sau” tức xin “<b><u>lễ đời đời</u></b>”
của những nơi buôn thần bán thánh và dối gạt người không hiểu biết về

của Chúa.Nghiã là các linh hồn thánh trong Luyện tội chắc chắn sớm muộn
sẽ được vào Thiên Đàng vì đã ra đi trong ơn nghĩa Chúa , nhưng chưa được
thanh tẩy cách trọn vẹn nên cần được thanh luyện ở nơi này một thời gian
trước khi được đón nhận vào vui hưởng Thánh Nhan Chúa trên Thiên Đàng,

sống trong Giáo Hội có thể gúp đỡ các linh hồn nơi luyện ngục bằng các
việc lành như cầu nguyện, làm việc bác ái nhất là xin lễ cầu cho các
linh hồn ấy được mau đón nhận vào Thiên Đàng hướng Thánh Nhan Chúa. Và
chắc chắn các linh hồn sẽ nhớ ơn và cầu xin đắc lực cho các ân nhân đã
giúp đỡ họ bằng việc lành phúc đức. Các Thánh ở trên trời có thể nguyện
giúp cầu thay đắc lực cho các linh hồn trong Luyện tôi hay cho các tín
hữu còn đang lữ hành trên trần thế. Nhưng các Thánh không cần ai giúp đỡ
nữa vì các ngài đã nên trọn hảo và đang vui hưởng Thánh Nhan Chúa trên
Thiên Đàng.</span></font></p>

xa lìa Chúa vĩnh viễn ở nơi gọi là <b><u>hỏa ngục</u></b> thì mới phải
ở đây đời đời mà thôi. Nhưng các tín hữu còn sống, các Thánh trên trời
và các linh hồn thánh trong Luyện tội không thể giúp gì cho các linh hồn
ở chốn hỏa ngục được, vì không có sự hiệp thông nào giữa nơi này với
Thiên đàng , với các tín hữu còn sống trên trần gian và với các linh
hồn thánh trong Luyện tội.( x SGLGHCG số 1033).Nếu đã không có sự
hiệp thông, thì cầu nguyện hay xin lễ đời đời cũng vô ích cho những ai
đang bị giam cầm ở đây. Như vậy, ý niệm dâng lễ đời đời là vô nghĩa vì
không thể áp dụng được cho các linh hồn thánh nơi luyện tội hay đã vinh
viễn xa lìa Chúa ở hỏa ngục.Nhưng cũng phải nói thêm là không ai biết
được phần rỗi của một người đã ly trần.Giáo Hội cũng không biết
được.Chỉ một mình Chúa biết mà thôi.Do đó, ai chết thì mình cứ cầu cho
họ,kể cả cho những người tự tử chết-.Mình không được phán đoán về phần
rỗi của ai, dù biết người đó đã sống ra sao trên trần thế này. Chỉ một
mình Chúa biết để phán xét công bằng và thương xót cho những người đã
ly trần mà thôi.</span></font></p>
