Ví dụ, một linh mục từ VN qua Mỹ mà có một người tới đưa 50 Đôla và
xin cha làm lễ. Bình thường thì vị linh mục phải dâng 10 lễ vì giá
bổng lễ ở Mỹ được quy định là 5 Đôla (?). Nếu một Việt Kiều về VN
đến đưa cho một linh mục 50 Đôla và xin cha làm lễ, thì vị linh mục
chỉ dâng 5 lễ, vì giá quy định ở VN trung bình là 10 Đôla (<i style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">có
một cha xứ khẳng định rằng Đức Tổng Giám Mục Grigelli nói ở Tp HCM
là 10 Euro; Lm. Giuse Nguyễn Ngọc Bích, DCCT, trả lời vấn đề này
trên “Tập Báo Mẹ Hiền” tháng 8 năm 2013 rằng: Tòa Giám Mục TP. HCM
ấn định bổng lễ trong giáo phận là 250.000đ</i>).<br style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">

Lý do phỏng đoán hợp lệ: <br style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">

Nghĩa là vị linh mục có đủ lý do tin rằng người dâng, ngoài việc xin
lễ cầu nguyện thì còn có hảo ý khác như muốn giúp đỡ hay dâng tặng
cho vị linh mục. Chẳng hạn, một linh mục VN sang Mỹ đi quyên góp tài
chánh để xây nhà thờ, có người gửi dâng 100 Đôla và kèm theo lời xin
lễ cầu bình an cho gia đình nhưng không nói rõ số lễ, thì vị linh
mục có thể dâng một lễ và suy đoán rằng số tiền này là người dâng có
hảo ý giúp mình trong việc xây nhà thờ. Hoặc có một ân nhân đến dâng
1 triệu đồng và xin lễ cầu bình an, vị ân nhân này thỉnh thoảng đến
tặng biếu cho vị linh mục một vài triệu đồng, thì vị linh mục có thể
suy đoán chắc rằng người dâng có hảo ý giúp mình nên chỉ cần làm 1 ý
lễ và không cần phải chia 1 triệu đó theo mức giá bổng lễ hiện tại
là mỗi ý lễ là 200.000đ (hoặc 250.000đ). Cũng vậy, trong trường hợp
một linh mục đến đồng tế lễ an táng, hay lễ cưới, hoặc đi làm phép
nhà… sau thánh lễ hay làm phép nhà, người nhà đưa một phong bì và
xin cầu nguyện thì suy đoán hợp lý rằng người ấy muốn tặng món tiền
đó cho vị linh mục.<br style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">

Gửi bổng lễ khác về Đấng Bản Quyền<br style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">

Trừ ngày lễ Giáng Sinh, mỗi ngày tư tế chỉ được hưởng một bổng lễ.
Những bổng lễ khác (<i style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">binates
or trinates etc</i>.) phải nhường về các mục đích do đấng bản quyền
quy định. Tuy nhiên linh mục được nhận một phần bổng lễ đó cho những
chi phí ngoại tại (Gl 951 #1).<br style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">

Các<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><b style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><i style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">bổng
lễ khác</i></b><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>(<i style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">binates
or trinates etc</i>.) gửi về đấng bản quyền của tư tế, nghĩa là các
linh mục triều gửi các bổng lễ khác về cho Giám mục hoặc đấng bản
quyền địa phương của họ, còn các tu sỹ linh mục (linh mục dòng) gửi
về cho bề trên cao cấp của họ. Tuy nhiên, tất cả các cha xứ dù là
linh mục triều hay dòng đều buộc gửi về Giám mục địa phận các bổng
lễ khác mà họ nhận được qua chính giáo xứ.<br style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">

Tuy vậy, một linh mục dòng mà là cha chính xứ hoặc quản nhiệm xứ và
linh mục cử hành thánh lễ hai hay ba mà các bổng lễ khác vị linh mục
này nhận được từ chính dòng tu của mình thì các bổng lễ khác đó được
gửi cho bề trên cao cấp của họ. Bởi vì ý của người xin là muốn giúp
đỡ tu viện.<br style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">

Ngoài ra, một linh mục viếng thăm (vãng lại) được trao quyền làm lễ
ở giáo xứ thì các bổng lễ khác (binates or trinates) được gửi về cho
chính đấng bản quyền của linh mục ấy – bề trên cao cấp. Ví dụ, một
linh mục SJ của tỉnh dòng VN không phải là cha xứ (giáo xứ Hiển
Linh) ra làm lễ ở giáo xứ (Hiển Linh hay ở bất cứ một giáo xứ nào)
thì các bổng lễ khác được gửi về cho đấng bản quyền của linh mục SJ
đó – cha Giám Tỉnh. Trong trường hợp một linh mục triều thuộc địa
phận (Hà Nội,…) đến làm lễ ở giáo xứ Hiển Linh thì bổng lễ khác được
gửi về cho Giám mục địa phận (Hà Nội,…).<br style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">

Nếu một linh mục đã cử hành hay đồng tế một thánh lễ, thì thánh lễ
đồng tế thứ hai trong ngày vị linh mục không có quyền nhận bổng lễ
nữa dưới bất cứ danh nghĩa nào (X. Gl 951 #1). Việc đồng tế này cho
dù trước hay sau thánh lễ khác được cử hành. Nghĩa là nếu buổi sáng
linh mục đồng tế thánh lễ và buổi chiều cử hành thánh lễ, thì linh
mục chỉ được nhận bổng lễ thánh lễ ban chiều.<br style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">

Trong trường hợp vị linh mục nghĩ là ngày hôm đó chỉ đồng tế thánh
lễ ban sáng nên đã nhận bổng lễ, nhưng ban chiều vì một lý do cần
thiết phải cử hành thánh lễ nữa thì được nhận bổng lễ cho mỗi thánh
lễ, và linh mục giữ một bổng lễ cho mình, bổng lễ còn lại áp dụng
nguyên tắc “binates” gửi về đấng bản quyền theo qui định.<br style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">

Ở một số địa phận đấng bản quyền quy định tư tế được nhận một phần
hai hay hai phần ba (hoặc một bổng lễ nữa nếu thánh lễ thứ hai là lễ
gộp) bổng lễ từ thánh lễ thứ hai. Lý do vì linh mục phải bỏ công sức
và những chi phí như đi lại, ăn uống,… cho thánh lễ thứ hai.<br style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">

Theo giáo luật, mỗi ý lễ được áp dụng cho một thánh lễ (x. Gl 948).
Tuy nhiên trong thực tế, trong các thánh lễ, đặc biệt là thánh lễ
ngày Chúa nhật có nhiều người xin lễ và ai cũng sẵn sàng và muốn
linh mục chủ tế ngày hôm đó làm lễ theo ý họ xin để họ cùng tham dự
và cầu nguyện. Vậy phải giải quyết vấn đề này thế nào?<br style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">
<br style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">
Dự trù tình huống này, Giáo luật nói “<i style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Nếu
tại những nhà thờ hay nhà nguyện người ta xin cử hành lễ quá số có
thể cử hành ở đó, thì có thể cử hành ở nơi khác,<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><b style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">trừ
khi những người xin lễ minh thị bày tỏ ý định ngược lại</b></i>” (Gl
954).<br style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">
<br style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">
Ngày 22/01/1991, Bộ Giáo Sỹ ban hành một Sắc lệnh</font><a name="_ftnref3" style="outline: none; font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; color: blue"><font size="4" face="Verdana" style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">[3]</font></span></a><font face="Verdana" style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="4"><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>hướng
dẫn và cho phép các linh mục gộp các ý lễ với các điều kiện sau :<br style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">
<br style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">
(1) Phải cho người xin lễ biết và được họ đồng ý là lễ họ xin được
dâng chung với một ý lễ khác.<br style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">
<br style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">
(2) Thời gian và nơi chốn dâng lễ gộp phải được công bố.<br style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">
<br style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">
(3) Không được gộp hơn hai lần trong một tuần.<br style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">

(4) Linh mục cử hành có thể giữ một bổng lễ và phải gửi về bản quyền
của mình những bổng lễ khác theo giáo luật điều 951 triệt 1.<br style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">

Như vậy, các linh mục được gộp ý lễ 2 lần mỗi tuần miễn là đáp ứng
đủ các điều kiện trên.<br style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">
<br style="font-family: FontStyle, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">
Thiết tưởng cũng nên hiểu rằng, theo giáo luật điều 954 và sắc lệnh
của Bộ Giáo Sỹ cho phép cử hành thánh lễ gộp các ý lễ thì tất cả các
ý lễ gộp đã được làm trong thánh lễ đó và sẽ không phải làm lại. Bởi
có một số linh mục sau khi cử thánh lễ gộp các ý lễ xong, lại lấy
các ý lễ đã gộp đó làm lại mỗi ngày một ý lễ hoặc đem các ý lễ đó
gửi cho linh mục khác làm. Theo quy định trên, vị linh mục sau khi
đã cử hành thánh lễ gộp các ý lễ, chỉ giữ cho mình 1 bổng lễ, còn
các bổng lễ khác được gửi về đấng bản quyền theo quy định như đã
trình bày ở trên.</font></span></p>

other offerings go to his ordinary, namely, the local ordinary for
the diocesan clergy and the major superior for members of clerical
religious institutes and societies of apostolic life. All pastors
and parochial vicars, not just diocesan priests, are bound to send
the offering for additional Masses celebrated each day to the local
ordinary. This rule applies only to parish Masses for which
offerings have been received through the parish. Thus, a religious
priest who is pastor or parochial vicar and who binates with an
offering received from the sacristan of his own religious institute
should send that offering to his own ordinary, not to the local
ordinary, since the intention of the donor was to benefit the
institute, not the diocese. Moreover, a visiting priest in the
parish is entitled to all offerings for the Masses he celebrates,
including binations and trinations, which he then sends to his own
ordinary, not the local ordinary, unless they are the same (John P.

1991 the Congregation for the Clergy derogated from this canon to
permit priests to accept several offerings for a "collective
intention" at a single Mass. The following regulations must be
observed if this practice is followed:</font></span></p>

of their offerings before the Mass for the collective intention is
