Thiên Chúa gọi chỗ khô cạn là đất, và Người gọi khối nước là
biển. Thiên Chúa thấy tốt đẹp. Và Thiên Chúa phán: "Đất hãy
trổ sinh thảo mộc xanh tươi mang hạt giống; và cây ăn trái
phát sinh trái theo giống nó, và trong trái có hạt giống,

vòm trời và giãi sáng mặt đất". Và đã xảy ra như vậy. Thiên
Chúa đã làm nên hai vầng sáng lớn: Vầng sáng lớn hơn làm chủ
ban ngày, và vầng sáng nhỏ hơn làm chủ ban đêm; Và Ngài cũng
làm nên các tinh tú. Thiên Chúa đặt chúng trên vòm trời để
soi sáng trên mặt đất, và làm chủ ngày đêm, và phân chia ánh

bay tuỳ theo giống. Thiên Chúa thấy chúng tốt đẹp. Thiên
Chúa chúc phúc cho chúng rằng: "Hãy sinh sôi nẩy nở cho
nhiều, đầy nước biển; loài chim hãy sinh cho nhiều trên mặt

các bà đi ra mồ mang theo những thuốc thơm đã dọn sẵn. Thấy
hòn đá đã lăn ra khỏi mồ, nhưng bước vào, các bà không thấy
xác Chúa Giêsu. Đang khi các bà còn ngơ ngác không hiểu việc
đó, thì có hai người đứng gần các bà, y phục sáng chói. Các
bà kinh hãi cắm mặt xuống đất, thì hai người lên tiếng bảo:
"Tại sao các bà tìm người sống nơi những kẻ chết? Người
không còn ở đây. Người đã sống lại, các bà hãy nhớ lại Người
đã nói với các bà thế nào khi Người còn ở xứ Galilêa. Người
đã nói: Con Người phải bị nộp vào tay những kẻ tội lỗi, bị
đóng đinh vào thập giá và ngày thứ ba sẽ sống lại". Và các

cả sự việc cho mười một Tông đồ và các người khác. Các bà đó
là Maria Mađalêna, Gioanna, Maria mẹ Giacôbê; và những người
nữ khác cùng đi với họ cũng nói như vậy với các tông đồ.
Nhưng những lời đó, các ông cho là truyện vớ vẩn, nên các
ông không tin. Dầu vậy Phêrô cũng đứng dậy chạy ra mồ, nhưng
khi cúi xuống nhìn, ông chỉ thấy những khăn liệm nằm đó và
ông trở về nhà, rất đỗi ngạc nhiên về sự đã xảy ra. Đó là

<font face="Arial"><strong><u>Suy niệm</u>:</strong> Tảng đá
lấp ngôi mộ Đức Ki-tô đã là dấu chấm hết của mọi niềm hy
vọng, nếu như đến ngày thứ ba không mở ra một ngôi mộ trống
với lời loan báo tin mừng rằng <em>“Ngài đã trỗi dậy và
không còn ở đây nữa.”</em> Thánh Phao-lô nói: <em>“Gieo
xuống thì hư nát, trỗi dậy thì bất diệt” </em>(1Cr 15,42).
Quả thế, ngôi mộ trống là vật chất, nhưng nội dung nó chuyển
tải là mầu nhiệm; ngôi mộ đóng lại là chấm hết cho tội lỗi
và sự chết, nay mở ra là ngưỡng cửa đi vào cuộc sống hạnh
phúc bất diệt. Vì thế, nếu Chúa Ki-tô không sống lại, thì
thập giá chỉ là dấu hiệu của ô nhục, đau khổ của con người
không có lối thoát và cái chết của con người là ngõ cụt, và
chúng ta sẽ là những người vô phúc nhất. Nhưng Chúa Ki-tô đã
sống lại và nhờ tin vào Ngài, chúng ta cũng được sống lại.
Đó là tin mừng của hy vọng, tin mừng của lòng Chúa thương
xót.</font></p>
