<font face="Arial">Khi ấy, (Chúa Giêsu đang ngồi ăn với các
môn đệ), tâm hồn Người bị xao xuyến, nên Người tuyên bố:
"Thật, Thầy nói thật cho các con biết, một người trong các
con sẽ nộp Thầy". Các môn đệ nhìn nhau phân vân không biết
Người nói về ai. Có một môn đệ được Chúa Giêsu yêu quý, đang
ở bàn ăn gần lòng Chúa Giêsu. Vậy Phêrô làm hiệu cho môn đệ
ấy và nói: "Hỏi xem Thầy nói về ai đó". Môn đệ ấy nghiêng
mình sát ngực Chúa Giêsu và hỏi Người: "Thưa Thầy, ai vậy?"
Chúa Giêsu trả lời: "Thầy chấm miếng bánh trao cho ai là
người đó". Và Người chấm một miếng bánh trao cho Giuđa, con
Simon Iscariô. ?n miếng bánh rồi, Satan nhập vào hắn. Chúa
Giêsu nói với hắn: "Con tính làm gì thì làm mau đi". Nhưng
những người đang ngồi ăn không một ai hiểu được vì sao Người
lại nói với hắn như vậy. Có nhiều người tưởng tại Giuđa giữ
túi tiền, nên Chúa Giêsu bảo hắn: Hãy mua những gì chúng ta
cần dùng trong dịp lễ, hoặc Người bảo hắn bố thí cho người
nghèo. Vậy sau khi nhận miếng bánh đó, Giuđa liền đi ra. Bấy
giờ là đêm tối. Khi Giuđa đi rồi, Chúa Giêsu phán: "Bây giờ
Con Người được vinh hiển, và Thiên Chúa đã được vinh hiển
nơi Người. Nếu Thiên Chúa được vinh hiển nơi Người, thì
Thiên Chúa lại cho Người được vinh hiển nơi chính Mình, và
Thiên Chúa sẽ cho Người được vinh hiển! Các con yêu quý,
Thầy chỉ còn ở với các con một ít nữa. Các con sẽ tìm Thầy,
và như Thầy đã nói với người Do-thái: 'Nơi Ta đi, các ngươi
không thể đến được', nay Thầy cũng nói với các con như vậy".</font></p>

Thầy nói thật cho con biết: trước khi gà gáy, con đã chối
Thầy ba lần". Đó là lời Chúa.</font></p>

<strong>TỈNH THỨC ĐỂ NHẬN RA</strong><br>
<strong><em>Đức Giê-su nói với Phê-rô: “Anh sẽ thí mạng vì
Thầy ư? Thật, Thầy bảo thật cho anh biết: gà chưa gáy, anh
đã chối Thầy ba lần.” </em></strong>(Mt 16,15)<br>
<strong><u>Suy niệm</u>:</strong> Thật đúng như lời Chúa
Giê-su đã nói: “<em>Tinh thần thì mau mắn, còn xác thịt thì
yếu đuối” </em>(Mt 26,41). Phê-rô đã không bao giờ nghĩ rằng
mình trở thành kẻ phản bội cho đến ‘đêm hôm ấy’ ông nghe
được tiếng gà gáy. Đối với nhiều người, tiếng gà gáy chẳng
mấy liên hệ, nhưng với Phê-rô, tiếng gà trở nên tiếng gọi để
thức tỉnh. Nếu trước đó ông vênh vang, tự đắc, hăm hở tìm
xem ai là kẻ phản bội (c.24) thì sau khi chối Thầy, Phê-rô
đã khiêm tốn khóc lóc ăn năn trước cái nhìn yêu thương và
cảnh tỉnh của Chúa Giê-su.<br>
<strong><u>Mời Bạn</u>:</strong> Thói thường, truy tìm và
hạch tội người khác thì dễ hơn nhận biết tội lỗi của chính
mình. Vì thế, vấn đề nơi mỗi chúng ta không cần phải tìm xem
ai là kẻ có tội, mà cần sự thức tỉnh để nhận ra mình chính
là tội nhân. Để giúp chúng ta làm được công việc khẩn thiết
đó, Chúa Giê-su chỉ cho chúng ta phương thế: đó là <em>“tỉnh
thức và cầu nguyện” </em>để khỏi sa chước cám dỗ.<br>
<strong><u>Chia sẻ</u></strong> kinh nghiệm về một lần bạn
được thức tỉnh bởi Lời Chúa.<br>
<strong><u>Sống Lời Chúa</u>:</strong> Mỗi ngày trong Tuần
Thánh này, bạn dành thời gian tạo bầu khí lắng đọng, bình
tâm để lắng nghe tiếng Chúa vang vọng từ đáy lòng, có thể
một tiếng gà gáy không đụng đến ai nhưng nó lại làm ta thức
tỉnh.<br>
<strong><u>Cầu nguyện</u>:</strong><em>Lạy Chúa Ki-tô, Chúa
dạy chúng con phải tỉnh thức và cầu nguyện luôn, bởi tinh
thần thường mau mắn, còn xác thịt thì yếu đuối. Xin cho
chúng con học được bài học thất bại của các Tông Đồ trong
cuộc Vượt Qua với Chúa, để không ai chểnh mảng vì tưởng rằng
mình đứng vững.</em></font></p>
