<strong><em>“Nếu Tôi không làm các việc của Cha Tôi, thì các
ông đừng tin Tôi. Còn nếu Tôi làm các việc đó, thì dù các
ông không tin Tôi, ít ra cũng hãy tin các việc đó.” </em></strong>(Ga

<strong><u>Suy niệm</u>:</strong> Ngày 25/02/2006, việc phục
vụ của các nữ tu Công giáo – cụ thể là các chị em tu hội Nữ
Tử Bác Ái – tại trại phong Di Linh đã được xã hội tuyên
dương qua việc trao tặng huân chương cho nữ tu Mai Thị Mậu.
Việc tuyên dương đó không chỉ có ý nghĩa công nhận sự hiện
diện của các nữ tu, và xác nhận tính chất “tử tế” của công
việc họ làm hằng ngày giữa những anh chị em bệnh phong. Họ
đã âm thầm phục vụ như thế từ lâu vì họ được thôi thúc bởi
tình yêu mãnh liệt đối với Chúa và tha nhân, cách riêng với
những anh chị em bất hạnh nhất. Họ đang lặp lại sự chọn lựa
của Chúa Giê-su nơi cuộc đời mình: Cùng với Đức Giê-su “<em>làm
các việc của Thiên Chúa” </em>để nếu như người đời chưa tin
thì ít ra cũng cảm nhận được Ngài qua những <em>“việc-của-Thiên-Chúa” </em>đó.<br>
<strong><u>Mời Bạn</u>:</strong> Hẳn bạn đang tự hỏi đâu là
tiêu chí xác định một việc là việc của Thiên Chúa. Gương
sống của các nữ tu trên đây minh hoạ cho Lời Chúa và trả lời
cho bạn câu hỏi đó: Tình yêu mãnh liệt đối với Chúa và tha
nhân đến độ <em>“hy sinh mạng sống mình vì đàn chiên”. </em>Bạn
chỉ trở thành một chứng nhân đáng tin cậy khi bạn làm <em>“việc-của-Thiên-Chúa” </em>theo
cũng một tiêu chí đó.<br>
<strong><u>Sống Lời Chúa</u>:</strong> Làm một việc phục vụ
mà bạn thấy giúp bạn nên giống Chúa Giê-su nhất.<br>
<strong><u>Cầu nguyện</u>:</strong><em>Lạy Chúa Giê-su, Chúa
luôn tìm kiếm và thi hành thánh ý Cha; bởi đó là tình yêu và
lẽ sống của Ngài. Xin cho con cũng biết luôn làm đẹp lòng
Chúa Cha, dù phải đi vào con đường thập giá. Amen.</em></font></p>
