<strong>Suy niệm:</strong> Người Do Thái khi nghe Chúa Giêsu
và chứng kiến các phép lạ Chúa làm. Họ không chấp nhận khi
Ngài mạc khải Ngài là Con Thiên Chúa, dù Ngài khẳng định
Ngài với Chúa Cha là một. Họ liệt Ngài vào hàng đối thủ của
Thiên Chúa, khi họ quy kết Chúa dùng quyền năng của quỷ để
trừ quỷ. Nhưng họ đã lầm. Chúa Giêsu không phải là đối thủ
của Chúa Cha, nhưng là Con của Chúa Cha. Vì thế, Ngài đến
không phải để hủy bỏ những lời của Chúa Cha nói qua Môsê và
các ngôn sứ, nhưng chu toàn và thanh tẩy những dấu vết nặng
tính trần tục ra khỏi Luật Chúa. Là Con yêu dấu của Chúa
Cha, ý của Chúa Cha là lương thực của Ngài. Là Con Ngài lệ
thuộc Thiên Chúa hoàn toàn, vì Con không làm bất cứ điều gì
mà không học từ Cha. Cuộc sống của Ngài là làm cho ý của
Chúa Cha được thực hiện. Trong sứ điệp Mùa Chay 2014 Đức
Thánh Cha Phanxicô dạy: <em>“Chúa Giêsu luôn luôn và chỉ ước
ao và làm những điều Cha muốn và để vinh danh Cha…. Sự giàu
có của Ngài là làm Con của Chúa Cha.”</em></font></p>

<strong><em>“Ta không đến để huỷ bỏ nhưng để kiện toàn…” </em></strong>(Mt
5,17)<br>
<strong><u>Suy niệm</u>:</strong> Người Việt Nam có lý do
rất chính đáng để tự hào về 4.000 năm văn hiến của dân tộc
mình. Đó là di sản vô cùng quí giá mà cha ông để lại, và
chúng ta được kế thừa và phát huy. Với cái nhìn siêu nhiên,
đó là công trình mà Chúa Thánh Thần âm thầm xây dựng qua
dòng lịch sử nhân loại, để mạc khải tình yêu Thiên Chúa và
từng bước “đổi mới bộ mặt địa cầu.” Nếu Đức Ki-tô không đến
để huỷ bỏ nhưng để kiện tòan lề luật, truyền thống đạo đức
Do Thái, thì Ki-tô hữu Việt Nam hôm nay cũng đón nhận nền
văn hóa truyền thống của dân tộc mình với lòng tri ân, và cố
gắng sống đức tin của mình trong cung cách Việt Nam.<br>
<strong><u>Mời Bạn</u>:</strong> Còn gì đau đớn cho bằng khi
thấy một dân tộc đánh mất các giá trị tích cực trong truyền
thống đạo đức và văn hoá của mình? Còn gì đáng thất vọng hơn
khi thấy một lớp trẻ đang cuồng nhiệt chạy theo những trào
lưu vong bản, vọng ngọai, bỏ mất cội nguồn? Chúng ta không
được quên rằng: Ơn Chúa thường đến với ta qua khung cảnh văn
hoá chúng ta đang sống và cũng qua đó, chúng ta thể hiện và
làm chứng cho những giá trị vỉnh cửu của Nước Thiên Chúa.<br>
<strong><u>Chia sẻ</u>:</strong> Tại địa phương bạn, có tập
tục tốt đẹp nào đó đã bị mai một đi không? Có biểu hiệu suy
đồi do du nhập từ nền văn hoá ngoại lai đồi truỵ không
(trong phim ảnh, sách báo, cách ăn mặc…)?<br>
<strong><u>Sống Lời Chúa</u>:</strong> Không phải mọi yếu tố
