trước mặt Chúa với bàn tay không; vì tất cả những điều đó là
do mệnh lệnh của Thiên Chúa. Của lễ người công chính làm cho
bàn thờ nên phong phú, và hương thơm êm dịu của nó bay lên
trước dung nhan Đấng Tối Cao. Lễ vật hiến tế của người công
chính đã được chấp nhận, và Chúa sẽ không quên kẻ ấy. Ngươi
hãy tôn vinh Thiên Chúa với tâm hồn quảng đại, và đừng rút
bớt lại của lễ đầu mùa do công lao tay ngươi làm ra.</font></p>

của lễ, nét mặt ngươi hãy vui tươi, và hãy hân hoan thánh
hiến một phần mười của ngươi dâng. Ngươi hãy dâng lên Đấng
Tối Cao tuỳ theo như Người đã ban cho ngươi, và hãy dâng với
tâm hồn quảng đại theo sự ngươi đang có trong tay, vì Chúa
là Đấng thưởng công và sẽ trả lại cho ngươi gấp bảy lần.
Ngươi chớ dâng những lễ vật hèn kém, vì Người sẽ không nhận

<strong><u>Suy niệm</u>:</strong> Bỏ mọi sự là điều kiện
phải có để đi theo Chúa, chứ không phải công trạng của người
môn đệ để có quyền đòi hỏi Chúa phải đáp đền. Như nhựa cây
chỉ dâng cao một khi các cành cây đã được cắt tỉa bớt và cây
chỉ sống được nếu các dây leo ký sinh không làm nó tắc
nghẽn, thì đối với người môn đệ cũng thế, những hy sinh và
từ bỏ phải được thực hiện liên lỉ, không phải một lần là đủ,
nhưng từng giây từng phút để lòng mến Chúa và các linh hồn
được dâng cao và đời tông đồ được rõ nghĩa. Việc hy sinh và
từ bỏ mọi sự nơi người môn đệ chỉ trọn vẹn ý nghĩa một khi
chúng làm cho người môn đệ trở nên giống Chúa Giê-su trên
thập giá. Bởi, khi bị tước lột hết mọi sự, ngay cả hơi thở
sau cùng, Chúa Giê-su mới thốt lên được lời mà cuộc đời Ngài
muốn diễn tả: “Mọi sự đã hoàn tất.” Thực vậy, thánh ý của
Chúa Cha được Chúa Giê-su hoàn thành trong hy tế thánh giá
của Ngài.</p>
