"Times New Roman","serif"">Việc Giáo Hội không cho phép một
người Công Giáo lập gia đình với một người khác đạo là có lý do
muốn bảo vệ đức tin của người tín hữu Công Giáo. Theo kỷ luật đó,
một người Công Giáo lập gia đình với một người chưa chịu phép
rửa tội thì phép hôn phối bất thành hay vô hiệu. Trong những
trường hợp mà hai người, sau khi đã tìm hiểu cẩn thận và suy
nghĩ chín chắn, nhất định lấy nhau thì <b><u>phải xin PHÉP CHUẨN
nơi Đấng Bản quyền</u></b> <i>(Giám Mục)</i> <u>của đương sự hay
Đấng Bản Quyền tại nơi cử hành lễ cưới</u>. Muốn được ban ơn
chuẩn loại này, cần thiết người Công Giáo phải tuyên bố sẵn sàng
xa tránh mọi nguy cơ làm tổn thất Đức Tin, và hứa thành thật sẽ
làm hết mọi sự có thể để con cái được rửa tội và giáo dục trong
Giáo Hội Công Giáo. Vào lúc thuận tiện, phải cho bên kia biết
những lời hứa mà người Công Giáo phải giữ. Cả hai bên, Công
Giáo và không Công Giáo, phải được giáo huấn về các mục đích và
đặc tính cốt yếu của hôn nhân, và không bên nào được loại bỏ các
điều ấy.</span><p class="MsoNormal">

là chị <u>phải gặp Cha xứ của Chị, trình bày tất cả dự định kết
hôn, xin Ngài hướng dẫn</u>, lập thủ tục điều tra và chị trình
nộp cho Ngài các giấy tờ cần thiết như:</span></p>
