Việc xác định những việc làm để có thể lãnh nhận ơn đại xá là
công việc thuộc thẩm quyền của Bộ hay Tòa Xá Giải (PAENITENTIARIA
APOSTOLICA) và sự giải thích chính thức cũng phải từ nơi ban bố
kỷ luật đó. Chúng tôi chỉ có thể góp ý về sự hiểu biết của
chúng tôi trong những vấn đề mà Chị đặt ra. Theo tôi, căn cứ
vào văn bản của Tòa Thánh về Ân Xá, thì văn bản không nói là
viếng phần mộ hay huyệt mả, nhưng nói là nghĩa trang (visiting a
cemetery, Coemeterii visitatio). Vậy muốn lãnh nhận ơn đại xá
thì <u>phải viếng nghĩa trang</u>, nơi dành riêng để chôn người
chết.</font></span></td>
