Theo nguyên tắc, nếu một người Công giáo lấy một người chưa chịu
phép rửa tội thì phép hôn phối đó không thành nếu không có phép
chuẩn. Đi tham dự một đám cưới không thành có thể có tội do sự
"cộng tác với đương sự trong hành vi tội lỗi" vì đã tán thành...
Đây còn tùy thuộc nhiều yếu tố khác về mức độ tội phạm: cộng tác
trực tiếp hay gián tiếp, cách chính thức hay chỉ trong phương
diện chất thể. Ngoài ra cũng có thể mắc tội vì đã gây gương mù
cho người khác trong việc tán thành một cuộc kết hôn không
thành.</font></span></p>
