(auto-baptized), nhưng người ấy chưa bao giờ đi church và chưa
có niềm tin công giáo thực sự. Vậy khi kết hôn có được cử hành
phép Hôn Phối không? Và nếu như không được cử hành phép hôn
phối, thì một bên kia có thể xin cử hành phép chuẩn được không

người được kể là người Công giáo khi đã chịu phép Thánh Tẩy (Rửa
tội). Luật Giáo Hội áp dụng các luật lệ về Hôn phối cho tất cả
mọi người đã chịu phép rửa tội thành sự. Tuy nhiên, nếu chưa giữ
đạo, cần phải học giáo lý kỹ càng hơn và chuẩn bị hôn phối theo
những qui định của luật chung trong Giáo Hội cũng như luật riêng
của Giáo Hội địa phương. Nếu một người đã có đạo mà công khai
chối bỏ đức tin Công Giáo thì phải có phép của Đấng Bản Quyền Sở
tại mới được làm phép hôn phối theo phép đạo (xem GL 1071 §1, 4o
và §2).</font></span></td>
