để bái lạy nhưng không cần phải thắp nhang. Vậy có được không,

<font face="Times New Roman"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt">Vì
đây là một nghi lễ tôn giáo bày tỏ lòng tôn kính đối với Đức
Phật trái với niềm tin của người Công giáo, do đó người tín hữu
Công giáo không được phép. Nếu trường hợp đứng trước bàn thờ tổ
tiên tỏ bày niềm tôn kính, ghi ơn các bậc tổ tiên sinh thành,
thì theo thông cáo của các Đức Giám Mục Việt Nam ban hành tại
Nha Trang ngày 14-11-1974, các ngài đã qui định: “Việc đốt nhang
hương, đèn nến, trên bàn thờ gia tiên, và vái lạy trước bàn thờ,
giường thờ tổ tiên, là những cử chỉ những thái độ hiếu thảo tôn
kính, được phép làm.” Nếu có sự trùng hợp có tượng Phật trên bàn
thờ tổ thì cần phải giải thích cho những người tham dự về thái
độ tôn kính của mình đối với gia tiên chứ không có ý tuyên xưng
niềm tin vào Đức Phật hay Đạo Phật.</span></font></td>
