Tội lỗi hay việc lành phúc đức là những hành vi nhân linh tức là
những hành vi có sự hiểu biết và <u>ưng thuận đủ</u>. Nếu ta
thực thi một điều gì mà ta <u>không biết</u> đó là điều xấu,
điều cấm cản theo Luật của Chúa hay Giáo Hội thì theo lương tâm
trước mặt Chúa không có tội lỗi gì. Trong trường hợp vì lý do
nào đó, không biết rằng thủ dâm là có tội, thì chắc chắn Chúa
cũng không chấp tội ta. Bởi vậy, sau đó ta có Rước Lễ cũng
không phải là phạm sự thánh. Từ bây giờ, sau khi đã biết giáo
lý rồi, ta phải theo lương tâm tuân giữ nghiêm chỉnh. </font></td>
