Thưa cha, có phải Kinh Thánh là bất di bất dịch, một dấu, một
phẩy trong kinh thánh đều không được sửa đổi? Con đọc bài đọc
kinh thánh trước khi đi xem lễ nhưng nhiều khi con thấy Cha làm
lễ đọc cùng bài kinh thánh mà có nhiều từ khác với bài con đọc
trước đó? Và xin cha giải thích cho con câu kinh thánh ở Ga 6,27
có ghi "...lương thực thường tồn..." có chính xác không hay là
phải "lương thực trường tồn"? Con cám ơn Cha!</font></span></p>

Chúa thì không ai được thay đổi theo ý mình. Tuy nhiên, Kinh
Thánh có nhiều bản dịch khác nhau, có thể cùng được giáo quyền
chuẩn nhận. Do đó có thể Cha và Anh sử dụng những bản dịch khác
nhau. Hơn nữa, có thể người đọc vì lý do nào đó đọc sai chính
tả. Ta không nên vội vã kết luận họ cố tình xuyên tạc Thánh
Kinh. Theo bản dịch của nhóm dịch Phụng Vụ Giờ Kinh thì ghi
“lương thực thường tồn” trong khi bản Vulgata ghi “non cibum qui
perit sed qui permanet in vitam aeternam” hay các ngôn ngữ khác
cũng mang ý nghĩa tương tự: của ăn tồn tại cho cuộc sống vĩnh
cửu. Tôi nghĩ “trường” là dài, còn “thường” nhấn mạnh tới tính
cách “tồn tại”, “thường xuyên”, “luôn mãi”. Không nên vội vã để
quyết đoán đúng sai trong trường hợp này.</font></span></td>
