WHĐ (14.10.2013) – Chúa nhật 13-10, tại quảng trường Thánh Phêrô (Rôma),
Đức Thánh Cha Phanxicô đã dâng Thánh lễ đồng tế với các hồng y, giám
mục, linh mục và hai trăm ngàn tu sĩ nam nữ và giáo dân hành hương về
Rôma tham dự Ngày Thánh Mẫu.</p>

Được biết, Ngày Thánh Mẫu do Hội đồng Tòa Thánh cổ võ tân Phúc âm hóa tổ
chức, trong khuôn khổ Năm Đức Tin 2012-2013, diễn ra trong hai ngày 12
và 13 tháng Mười 2013, tại Rôma.<br style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px">
Hai sự kiện nổi bật trong Ngày Thánh Mẫu là cuộc rước tượng Đức Mẹ
Fatima từ Bồ Đào Nha về Rôma và Đức Thánh Cha dâng thế giới lên Trái Tim
Vẹn Sạch Đức Mẹ.</p>

Trong bài giảng Thánh lễ sáng Chúa nhật 13-10, Đức Thánh Cha gợi ý suy
niệm về Đức Maria. Ngài nói: “Trong bài Thánh vịnh Đáp ca, chúng ta đã
hát rằng: “Hãy hát lên mừng Chúa một bài ca mới, vì Ngài đã làm những
việc kỳ diệu” (Tv 97, 1). Hôm nay chúng ta đang đứng trước một trong
những việc kỳ diệu Chúa đã thực hiện: Đó là Đức Maria! Mẹ là một thụ tạo
khiêm hạ và yếu ớt như chúng ta, nhưng đã được Chúa chọn làm Mẹ Thiên
Chúa, mẹ của Đấng đã dựng nên Mẹ”.</p>

Từ những suy niệm về Đức Maria, Đức Thánh Cha mời gọi mọi người suy ngẫm
ba khía cạnh về Thiên Chúa: (1) Thiên Chúa khiến chúng ta phải sửng sốt
ngạc nhiên; (2) Thiên Chúa đòi chúng ta phải trung tín; (3) Thiên Chúa
là nguồn sức mạnh của chúng ta.</p>

Cuối Thánh lễ, Đức Thánh Cha đã tiến đến trước tượng Đức Mẹ Fatima và
dâng lên Mẹ:</p>

và cứu vớt nhân loại đau khổ vì sự dữ và chịu thương tích vì tội

Xin Mẹ lấy tình mẫu tử nhân từ đoái nhận thế giới mà hôm nay chúng
con,<br style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px">
đang đứng trước tượng Mẹ vô cùng quý mến, tín thác dâng lên Mẹ.<br style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px">
Chúng con tin tưởng vững vàng:<br style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px">
mỗi người chúng con đều được Mẹ coi là quý giá<br style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px">
và không một điều gì chúng con mang trong lòng mà Mẹ lại xa lạ dửng
dưng.<br style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px">
Chúng con đặt mình dưới ánh mắt dịu hiền và nhận lấy nụ cười của Mẹ
đang an ủi vỗ về.<br style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px">
Xin Mẹ gìn giữ cuộc sống chúng con trong cánh tay Mẹ;<br style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px">
Xin Mẹ chúc lành và thêm sức cho chúng con biết ước ao sự lành;<br style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px">
Xin Mẹ khơi dậy và nuôi dưỡng lòng tin;<br style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px">
nâng đỡ và soi sáng niềm trông cậy<br style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px">
khuyến khích và thôi thúc chúng con sống mến yêu;<br style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px">
dẫn dắt mọi người chúng con trên đường nên thánh.<br style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px">
Xin Mẹ hãy dạy chúng con biết noi gương Mẹ<br style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px">
yêu thương những người thấp cổ bé miệng và nghèo khốn,<br style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px">
những người bị loại trừ và đau khổ,<br style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px">

Xin Mẹ quy tụ mọi người về dưới sự chở che của Mẹ;<br style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px">
và xin Mẹ trao tất cả chúng con cho Chúa Giêsu, Con yêu dấu của Mẹ.

– Đức giáo hoàng Gioan Phaolô II mời các giám mục cùng ngài dâng thế
giới và nước Nga lên Trái tim Vẹn sạch Đức Mẹ vào năm 1982. Sau đó ngài
lại tiếp tục dâng trong các năm 1983 (trong khuôn khổ Thượng Hội đồng
Giám mục) và 1984.</p>

Ngoài ra, Đức giáo hoàng Bênêđictô XVI vào năm 2010 đã dâng các linh mục
trên khắp thế giới cho Đức Mẹ, và Đức Thánh Cha Phanxicô dâng Liban và
